I think what truly separates them is the care and consideration that they give to the plants and trees. I have a small orchard on my property of only about 40 trees and as they need replaced, I have been using trees from mile tree nursery. They use a drip system on their trees so they are constantly watered. A number of the big box stores in the area water their trees intermittently and as a result, the quality is very poor. A broken wrist stopped me from planting in Spring and early Summer, but I sallied forth today with a list of nearby nurseries. Seely's was first on my list, and I didn't need to go farther. They have an impressive selection of trees, shrubs, flowers, and leafy perennials. Their Hosta selection is the largest I've ever seen. At a guess I'd say they have at least 100 different varieties. It's incredible! The Seely's employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and service-oriented. Julie hauled my cart all through the many plants, giving me advice on what plants would work with my East and West-facing planting areas. When I found one of my favorite plants looking a bit scraggly late in the season, she pruned the leggy parts off and left the beautifully formed inner stems and leaves for me. She was patient as I back-tracked to revisit plants I was interested in. Then she helped me load all my plants and a couple bags of Sweet Peat mulch/soil enhancer into the back of my Outback. I will definitely return to Seely's as I fill out my garden areas in the coming years. And I'll definitely watch for Julie when I do. This nursery doesn't look like much from the road, but it is truly a hidden gem! Check it out the next time you have landscaping and gardening needs!

Friday before Mother's Day got the message.... "We regret to inform you....". I had never used Expressions before, but walked right in and could see that they were all hands on deck.
