Art and marijuana - what a concept! I have been a regular MMJ customer ever since the Gallery's first store (in Tacoma/Parkland) opened their doors back in 2016. The Spanaway store is huge with gorgeous artwork and the best budtenders in the marijuana business. The store carries a large selection of quality products available at different price ranges to suit one's own budget. Washington state voters decriminalized marijuana in 2012. The owner and his business partner lead the way in their fight to obtain a permit after an initial denial by local government. I met the owner Tedd for the first time on 420 Day this past year. Everything goes well once you enter the store. Staff and security is friendly and very helpful. First time had this experience with my product. Bought it last night and used it. The battery lasted like maybe 10 minutes. So i put it on the charger. Mind yall me thought its fully charged after like 15-20 minutes. Then when i hit it, it didn't glow red to notify me its on. So all of a sudden my dap pen act up and kept flashing lights (red) and I just thought its malfunction. Just need to turn it in for a new one. Long story short. Brought it in the next day (today) told the bud tender what happened, and she gave me that weird look like I'm lying or something. Then she goes "oh let me go talk to my manager" few minutes later. Dropped in from out of state, the staff was extremely friendly and my budtender was very professional and welcoming. Washingtonians don't know how good prices are here compared to Nor-Cal. Came here for over a year an half and spend $ weekly until one night the person didn't give me.my i.d. back. I came in the following day after work realized I couldn't find it and as an epileptic was very stressed n just needed a joint. I ask someone to buy me one as I had far to drive and they wouldnt let me without my i.d.... the next day I go in and tell the clerk the stressful situation I had the night b4 because I couldn't find my i.d. and how I had to pay someone at safeway to get the medicine. The motherfucker goes to security and gets me banned. I'm working my ass of dealing with alot of stressful personal shit and just trying to keep up lately and today I had an "a ha" moment. It was dark and rainy. There lighting is a lot to be desired in that weather. The stalls up front need repainted with glow strips or just new paint. Anyways I'm disabled and backed up into the handicapped stall. The front iD guy said I needed to straighten my truck in between the lines, I was about 2-4inches over the white line with no other cars in any up front space. My tire was on the white line. Shame on me on a cold rainy December night with no one else around before during or after I left the space. I walk in and I'd guy says straighten or next time no service. Had a great experience. Called ahead to see if they had a CBD oil I was looking for. From the phone call to when I went in the store to purchase every employee was extremely helpful, polite and welcoming. The store wasn't too busy either so I could take my time and actually chat and make sure I was getting what I wanted. The Gallery in Spanaway is a clean, well organized store with a nice and a helpful staff. They have a constant daily deal rotation and product/vendor Fridays so everyone can have a discount day. - Rad They also have a massive lot for parking with eazy access (right off of WA-7). There are about 10 or 15 spots up front if you need a short trip or wheelchair access. Sometimes there will even be a hotdog cart on the way in. - Also Rad What I really wanted to get on here for was to spread the word about Tristin. He is the most helpful tender that I have found so far on my journey from down in So Cal all the way up the coast. My wife and I came to Tristin with a couple ailments hoping for some good recommendations and suggestions. Every recommendation he made was exactly as he described and every suggestion he made was backed by experience and knowledge. He made the whole experience, from start to finish, comfortable and as if we were having a conversation with an old friend. They're knowledgeable and polite and they always look classy in their all black attire. Even when they are out of my favorite strains, they've always got backup recommendations that are sure to tickle your fancy. For months I have been watching one of the bud tenders there become more and more unwelcoming. It's a older Lady with blond hair. I have yet to see this woman once smile, welcome you nicely or even have somewhat of a motivating attitude about her job. Everytime I come in and she is there you can just tell how much she does not care about her job. All the other bud tenders are amazing, knowledgeable and educated and most importantly welcoming to the cliental. This woman however from attitude, to rolling her eyes at questions all the way to just simply not giving a fuck about her job is truly bringing down the image and the shine of all there other amazing hardworkers at the shop in spanaway. As a whole business, I very much enjoy The Gallery. The beautiful glass on display, the stunning artwork, and the marvelous all-black attire. It is truly stunning and very aesthetically pleasing. Each location has it's own uniqueness and positive traits, but the Spanaway location is by far my favourite. With the friendliest budtenders and a welcoming atmosphere, it is a no wonder this is my favourite location. I am never disappointed with the help I get from each and every budtender. I am pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable each budtender really is about the products in the store, and I am never disappointed by their individual tastes. Honestly, you have gotten my business and will continue to get my business because of Cooli and his natural ability to help each client with their particular needs. However I can only give the location four stars as they lose a star for that terribly sad animal skin rug they recently put by the front windows--Yuck!
