Matt has outfitted an old van and operates as a mobile cart selling what was, IMHO, his coffee was the closest thing to a Seattle latte (where I live) that I came across in Europe. I don't believe that his stand is open all days at the Royal Victoria docks, but if he is there (and you will know he is because he has great on-site marketing), it would certainly be a worthwhile investment to stop by and grab a cuppa joe. Way better than any other options in the area, at least that we were able to discover.

I just want to work downstairs instead of here at my desk. Thank you TSB for allowing me to enjoy Soho quality coffee in the middle of South BFE Quay! :)

Apart from the sofa by the window, it a simple coffee house ideal for breakfast, lunch, or tea break. They offer food such as sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and traditional English breakfast all day. The food fails to disappoint. It is what it is. Nothing more and nothing less. Its an great place for me and my friends to go for some afternoon grub.

I was at this one after attending the London Marathon expo at ExCel London, their convention center. This Starbucks is close by the entrance on the way to the Elizabeth Line station. Plenty of seating inside and out, communal table with outlets, and a better variety of things to eat and drink from what I'm used to here in NYC. Was worth a stop to sit down and take a load off of my tired feet after a lot of walking.

And twisting my body and craning my neck to see meant that I came away stiff all over. Ouch. But always happy to giggedy-gig here!

This was a one-off show as he's in the middle of recording his new album right now. The gig was, well, probably the best I've ever been too. But this review is of the venue and, that was pretty damn good too. No sticky floors in sight here, just miles of bars making it really easy to get served, and a low stage with sunken floor, all standing, and brilliant acoustics. This is as close as you could come to a 'your front room' feeling in a 1000 capacity venue - well worth braving the 40 minute boat trip!
