I live about 2 hours away from this shop, but my 100 year old grandma recently passed away and lived in this area. Knowing nothing about the best places to get flowers I chose this one by reviews. I wanted to send "happy" flowers for her funeral. My MIL asked if we can choose flowers for her as well, so I picked a lovely birdhouse arrangement in pinks and yellows. For me, I chose the designers choice because I didn't see what I was looking for in the pictures. I told them I wanted pinks and yellows in a spray similar to the birdhouse bouquet and she totally understood. I didn't want the big lilies or palm like leaves. They delivered exactly what I wanted!! I was very pleased! Thanks so much for making that part of this sad event so easy!

Another Review for Wendy and the Garden Gate Florist Shop in Yuba City. I wanted to send some flowers for a friend who needed some cheering up and was hoping the flowers would go out on the same day that I called in. Wendy told me she would "try" but probably the flowers would go out the next day. Well, Wendy came through and the flowers were delivered the same day. I wanted to send sympathy flowers and do not live nearby. I ordered through Wendy on the phone. She was helpful and gave me a few suggestions. Flowers were delivered promptly & more beautiful than the picture online! I chose the Pure Harmony arrangement. Highly recommend as they're similar price as 1800-Flowers, but better quality than when I ordered through popular online flower delivery service. read more

I was very happy to find a local florist in Yuba city that also delivers. Since we are not from the area we wanted to make sure our family friend gets fresh flowers. We recently placed an order for sympathy flowers and had it delivered to a home address. It was pricey but definitely worth it. How I wish my review is for something else, but I ordered flowers at 3 a.m. as a sendoff for my Grandma. I was worried that it might be such a tall order or that it won't make it in time for later that day. A lady called me in the morning (I am bad at names, but I think she said Wendy) well before their opening time to discuss some modifications. I was a mess so I just let them do their magic. I had the WORST luck with another florist and was hesitant to send flowers to my Grandma on her birthday, but read the Yelp reviews and gave them a chance! My Grandma's flowers were delivered within a few hours of ordering online! I didn't even get a chance to call her to wish her Happy Birthday before they arrived! We ordered flowers about a month or so ago for a very close friend. I called and asked that it not be too strong (because she wasn't feeling well) and beautiful . The designer at The Garden Gate must have read our hearts. Our friend and her family and her friends loved the bouquet!!! She sent me a picture and it was gorgeous. It meant so much to us calling from out of state to trust someone to make a beloved friend happy. Ordered my mom flowers for Mother's Day. I'm always a little iffy about ordering flowers on a major holiday as past experiences have been less than fantastic with other local florists. Fantastic service! Ordered a bouquet of roses and chocolates for my wife for our anniversary. The lady handling my order over the phone was very nice and made the process very simple. 45 minutes later my wife is sending me a picture of the lovely roses that were just delivered. That's some fast service for a very reasonable price! She tells me the roses themselves are beautiful (we've received wilted flowers from other places in the past). She also is very knowledgeable when it came to upcoming sales and events that this place would have. I was happy to not only speak to her because she's nice, but she had a good understanding of what was popular, as well as any information that the company could give. I picked up a few items including the lavender infused local honey, honey mustard, and a little bag for my wife. This place is legit! If you're looking for wonderful accents to your kitchen or your dinner table or if you are going to go and visit friends for a little potluck and have no idea what to take, this is a place to visit. The whole place is bright so you can see everything clearly and all my questions were answered regarding gifting as well as pricing. He then told me cards are priced differently than the case, looked up the cards l, went to talk to a customer that doesn't work at the store about how much he should charge me, and the came back and said they couldn't sell them because he couldn't figure out the price. All because the cards were $1 more than the case. It's illegal to sell product for a different price at the register than listed on the listed on the shelf. The employee just laughed at me instead of trying to figure it out. I might be looking into who to report that to. The funny part is, I would have even just paid the extra $1, because I really don't care, I expect cards to be the price of TCG player, but the fact the store is willing to lose a customer over $1 tells you all you are willing to know. I specifically don't buy cards online in order to support the local stores in our small town, but I will never be going back here, because this store cares more about making an extra $1 (that I would have even paid if given the chance,) than it does about supporting the community that allows them to exists.

Most recently, they delivered the most stunning two dozen roses for my wife's birthday. I placed the order last minute, and not only did they come through, they exceeded every expectation. It's easy to spend a few hours looking through all the different vendors, especially when there is so much cool stuff to see! There's everything from clothes, shoes, accessories, and home decor, all the way to vintage tech, scary looking dolls, and food trucks! There is nothing to protect you from the elements, so be prepared. They had portable restrooms and a food truck area.

After we ate and the group split off into a couple of directions, some of us went over to check out the event. It was getting to the main heat of the day, so staying in the shade as much as possible was a priority. There was a nice variety of vendors with different kinds of mostly handmade items. From beautiful jewelry to clothing, to crafty decor pieces, woodwork, suncatchers, and much more. It was a bit too hot for me to have full enthusiasm for shopping. I ended up find a spot to sit and people watch while Dear Hubby and our nieces were browsing. I was waiting on a musical group to get organized after a break to start playing. They were the main reason that I took off a star. It took them a very long time to start performing. That, and the heat - it didn't feel as fun and festive as I might have expected. That being said, I would definitely consider returning the next time we're in the area. There is a fair amount of free parking adjacent to the fair area of the park. I see from their website that they typically provide the event two Sundays a month throughout most of the year. That's a nice community offering on a regular basis. Overall, prices seemed fair and the vendors were very friendly.

I'm so glad we ended up going, there were so many amazing stalls and products being sold. There was jewelry, hair accessories, scarves, baby toys, skincare, candles, a vintage clothing store, wood carved goods, wood notebooks, and more. I ended up purchasing jiggling scent bubbles from K and D Kreations and a vanilla scented sugar scrub from a goat milk skincare stall. I also spotted a hand knit and crocheted stall that took custom orders, I took note of it for the future! There's food trucks selling handmade pies, a lemonade stand, coffee, and Hawaiian shaved ice. The live music is really relaxing. This is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area- and if you're not, no worries! I spoke with many of the vendors and they were very friendly and let me know that they tend to sell their goods at the farmers market in West Sacramento and other neighboring areas.

Tried to go this Saturday, yesterday, it was not open Also…read morenobody in the surrounding area seemed to know about the indoor area. Only that it is open on thursdays... at night. However there's a motor bike event going on which was interesting but no swap meet And upon asking people who lived around the area, was informed it is only open on Thursday evenings. Unless that has changed or untrue there needs to be better display on WHERE the entrance to the Indoor market is.

We absolutely love this company! We use them for all of our flower needs. Their flowers are always above and beyond what you can imagine. So incredibly beautiful I am always impressed.
