It was her third ALF since her stroke in 2016, and it was by far the best. I live about five minutes away and so I was there often. I was able to see first-hand the attention and care she received from all of the staff. From the CNAs to the nurses to the maintenance and cleaning personnel, I always felt they had her best interests at heart. They have several integrated doctors and PT/OT (though you can keep your own) and because of that they were able to catch a few issues my grandmother was having long before they became critical. There are some things you can tell from a tour - the activities, the physical amenities, maybe even the food. But what you cannot tell, and what matters most, are the people who work there. I'll be forever thankful of the care my grandmother received; it was very much the kind of care I'd hope to receive myself in her place.

Not only is the facility clean and beautiful but every single person that works there is the best of the best...especially the nursing staff. They truly care and they truly put their heart into taking care of our loved ones. Both of my parents have stage 4 cancer along with other chronic conditions but they have thrived here because they get great care and all of their needs are met. The proximity to TGH is a blessing. Between the two of them, there are quite a few medical appointments -- but the Allegro driver takes care of transportation. There have been a few times that they needed around the clock care and/or emergency services and the team at Allegro took care of everything or made care plans -- the communication is always outstanding and transparent. It is wonderful to know that you can trust them. I can't begin to express how thankful I am for the peace of mind they have given me and I have knowing that there is a great community of caring staff, a great group of other residents and so many activities and outings. Because of them, I get to spend precious time with my parents... instead of trying to be their caregiver.

My mom went there.. she got out.. according to the contract they had 90 days to return her money (partial refund but still a lot of $$) and they could charge a "service fee". Well they took full advantage of it all. They charged a massive service fee, and never returned the money by 90 days..so I had to "remind" them for her.. and then they sent it...like they really needed 90 days.. they enjoyed that float that whole time.. my Mom was only there a year and boy was that costly.. I wouldn't have even bothered with this review if they would have least been gentle on their service fee and returned the funds in good faith quicker.

She asked me three times about the anti-Covid vaccine, and the x-ray for tuberculosis even though it was negative, my answer was no, I did not take this poisoned medicine, furthermore if tuberculosis is negative the guidelines do not recommend having an x-ray. The second time was worse than the first, after I finished signing all the documents, I asked for a copy of my offer letter and a copy of the drug test, but she refused to give them to me, she also reported to her supervisor that I ask for a lot of documents and according to her she saw me as too sad to do this job. Then the HR manager came out of her office and told me that they couldn't hire me because I requested a lot of documentation and the company thinks we will have problems with me in the future. So I got fired from work. I was left speechless and obviously sad, for two reasons, first because I spent the whole night in the hospital with my wife, she is sick, fighting cancer, and chemotherapy is the only solution to keep her alive, the second reason it was because unprofessional, and less intelligent, people fill positions that are very important to process and handle new hires. Yes please guys stay away from this toxic place, the company has very sick management and toxic approach.

During that entire time, she was cared for with exceptional professionalism and compassion by Christina Neighoff, RN Manager. Christina made sure my mother received everything she needed, and she kept me informed every single day about her physical and mental condition, along with thoughtful recommendations to support her comfort and well‑being. I am deeply grateful for the care, attention, and kindness she provided to my mother. Christina's dedication brought our family peace during a very difficult time. Thank you for the outstanding care -- truly a 5‑star experience.

They do not identify their names over the telephone. After a five day visit, they didn't send us a survey. A weekend nurse told my mom, "Don't soil your diaper because I am working alone and I will have no time to change it." One of the Physical Therapist was rough and then threw my mom (115 pounds) into bed. The next day my mom mentioned this out in the common area, and was cautioned by long time residents, not to complain about her because "she will come after you and you will be sorry." they only do Physical Therapy Monday to Friday. During the time my mom was there...5 days...she only got two PT sessions. When I tried to reach management by phone it took 3 days of calling and leaving messages each day and still no call back. Finally, I called about six times on the third day, and kept being transferred to different department voice mails...this was a Wednesday afternoon. I emailed the facility manager Chris and left a brutally honest review on Google, after this I did get a call back. Chris informed me his records showed 4 PT sessions, and I explained this was incorrect and that I had nothing to gain by telling him the truth. He reminded me he was the head of this facility for eleven years. He assured me he would "look into things". I wished him good luck moving forward. We will never go there again.
