Texture and taste are perfect. Wish I had her recipe since she does a better cookie than any of my relatives. Owner is also really flexible, went out of her way to meet me after hours and sell me what few cookies she had left. We ate them slowly, with happy noises.

Cupcakes were $2.50 each or 6 for $12. I forgot to note the dozen price. We got 6 to go. There is a place to sit and enjoy your treat. It took over an hour to finally receive a call from the owner. By That time we had made other plans, as the drive to El Morro without a confirmation that we had a place to stay was just too big of a risk. El Morro's failure to follow through on our reservation as they said that they would, along with the total inability to contact someone at the site that had a clue as to what was going on caused us to miss spending time with friends that we had not seen in over 30 years. There is nothing that can be done to replace that.....

Batter Than You…read more Pop-up bakery that operates out of a commercial kitchen and shows up at local festivals and events. I bumped into them at the Festival of the Cranes Art & Crafts Fair. They had Biscochitos & Chocolate Chip Oatmeal cookies, as well as a slew of chili-based sauces for sale. I bought a pack of oatmeal cookies (I got Biscochitos from a different vendor), and they were crispy and delicious. The only drawback was that they were cash only and didn't accept any forms of electronic payment, which is a mistake, in my opinion, but what do I know? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I wish I could've bought some of their sauces to take home, but we're not checking any bags, so #NextTimeGadget.
