Great customer service, great pies. They do have food besides pies, but we were there for the pies. It's a nice place and I'd recommend going there: even if it's just for the pies.

    Pie options!

This has been on our radar for years but we finally made it! The Gatherin Place had the pie which was the main reason we went but the food was good too! We had the burger and onion rings! Best onion rings and the burger was good too. Teresa and her husband were the most welcoming! You can watch them make fresh pies and we can't wait to go back for the pie festival! We purchased our pies to go and really enjoyed the turtle pie!

Amazing! Great spot to get the best food and pies. Planning a trip back for Pie festival in September. Every person in the place was welcoming and joyful. Absolutely loved it.

Fantastic break from our road trip out west! Fresh food, friendly staff and squeaky clean restroom. The PIES ARE AMAZING TOO! Definitely worth the stop.

Best pie ever and the baker was so cool! She rescues animals at her ranch and we had a great time talking to her!

Pie Town Pie was totally worth the trip…read more It was a bit chilly and too windy to sit outside on November 22, 2025, but there was patio dining. Service was a bit slow when we walked in. That all quickly changed soon after we played musical chairs to find a clean table we wanted. Lol. The only other weird thing was, they did not have menus. It was all verbally listed for us. In approximately 15 minutes, our food came out hot and fresh. I had the quiche, which was perfect, but I tried both of my daughters' dishes too. Talk about wholesome, comforting flavor town! Not only that, but they add extra touches to each dish to make them aesthetically pleasing. Our lunch consisted of: Pizza SLAB = $9.95 Pot Pie = $14.95 Quiche Meal = $9.95 Slice of Brookie pie = $7.50 Beverage × 2 = $5.00 ($2.50 ea.) Highly recommend if you get the chance to travel this desolate area of New Mexico. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4| Price: 4

This is definitely not worth a stop. We stumbled upon this restaurant while passing through on a road trip. It is out of the way from anywhere and located in the middle of nowhere. If you are not a local, don't bother going.

I get desperate sometimes for food from home. They were amazing. Just stopped off for some more while in NM. Still excellent. What makes them perfect is she uses enough anise, many people don't. Texture and taste are perfect. Wish I had her recipe since she does a better cookie than any of my relatives. Owner is also really flexible, went out of her way to meet me after hours and sell me what few cookies she had left. We ate them slowly, with happy noises.

My daughter and I found this place quite by accident…read more Well, she had heard there was a cake shop in Socorro, but was not sure where it was located. I had to mail some things from the Post Office and there it was! They just opened for the day. She had a display of the days offerings. Not as big as the ones in Albuquerque, but very tasty and great looking. The day's offering were: Blue Berry Cheesecake, Fruity Pebbles, and a Chocolate Covered Marshmallow, this one looked heavenly. Cupcakes were $2.50 each or 6 for $12. I forgot to note the dozen price. We got 6 to go. There is a place to sit and enjoy your treat. My daughter said that would be perfect for her and her friends to come, sit and enjoy. This place is a little hidden, at least to me. If I had not parked where I did for the Post Office we would not have spotted it. While there we checked out her custom order cakes. Very creative! My daughter likes to have a place to get just one cupcake, you know for after those finals!
