Worst gel polish I have ever received. Thought I was going in for a gel manicure and all she did was paint my nails and charged me $25 dollars. Didn't put a base coat on before she painted my nails. When I questioned her about it she said it didn't really make a difference. Well...it does. My natural nails are stained pink. This is after my nails chipped after two days. Tried it. Won't be back. Sloppy job. I don't get my nails done often and it is disappointing to wait for a big event to get my nails done and have them turn out like this :/ $30 wasted and it is not even what I asked for. I even showed a pic of what I wanted. French manicure, gel, with a small gold glitter band. Nail tech started my nails and forgot she had an appt that came in, which I didn't mind as much as not getting what I asked for. She also took my # to call me when she was done with the appt but she never called! So disappointing. read more

Went here to get my hair back to my original color. Candace did such a wonderful job. I highly recommended her as she takes her time and is very knowledgable about color. Now I tan there as well. Very pleasant environment. read more

She sat for three hours; she asked for calico color which is three different colors together like the calico cats y'know? Main colors are black or brown, some blond, and then usually orange or a copper. Instead of orange, they put the BRIGHTEST red known to mankind, the sections are all over the place, so the red is everywhere, and it's overall bad. She has been crying for hours, she has to go to school like this and there's nothing good about it. NEVER come here unless you want to look like you've been butchered by a bunch of brainless imbeciles who can't even color match. I don't know the exact stylist, but whoever should be FIRED!!! *edit* We just went back because a refund, couldn't get one because the sweet lady working at the time had no authority too but it's fine, but we found out the person who did my sisters hair was the MANAGER Sarah. The only thing is how could a manager fuck up this bad, you're a manager because you're good at your job. If she thought, she couldn't do it (she clearly couldn't) she should've said so instead of butchering it so badly. We're going back tomorrow for a refund and to talk to this manager.

She started cutting his hair, I had to leave to use the restroom as their restroom is for employees only. Came back and they were almost done. Paid and left. Gave my son a shower upon returning home to get the extra hair washed off and noticed they left a rat tail (which I ended up cutting off at home) and when he got dried off and everything I took a look again at his hair and noticed the entire backside of his haircut was completely botched and uneven. My son said the hairdresser was talking crap about a psoriasis spot on his scalp while cutting his hair, to another hairdresser who was working next to her. The hairdresser didn't even attempt to make conversation with my son. He was visibly upset. Called to let then know they botched his haircut that I paid almost $32 for (that's with the tip) and they told me "oh that's normal for hair to do upon wetting" which I highly doubt. Was told to bring him back and they'd fix it BUT why would I return when it was messed up already? I also don't drive so transportation is an issue and I had to find a ride the 1st time going, can't find another one to even go back. Very disappointing hair cut and manner of the hairdresser. Didn't get her name but I wish I had. Probably won't be back any time soon. Such a shame. Pictured is what we asked for and the back of his head after showering. The front of his hair is ok, but definitely not the back and doesn't look anything like the picture he wanted.

I had…read moremy hair colored there and then washed, but for the first time in my life, the hair stylist did not dry my hair after she washed it. After the wash, she didn't dry my hair with a towel, and had me sit back on the main chair in order to remove color lines (she seemed to spend an unusual amount of time getting the color lines off my skin and ears during the whole process). I then asked her to dry my hair, and she said she would be back, then she walked outside of the Walmart store, which struck me as odd. She then returned to me with an electric hair dryer. I said, "No, I mean dry with a towel" (something along those lines), but she didn't seem to understand what I meant. She then tapped the back of my neck with a towel. I then grabbed the towel and proceeded to dry my wet hair. When I was leaving, I notified the woman at the front desk about this. The next day I called and explained the point I was trying to make the day before. The woman who answered said something to the effect that it's normal to not dry hair after it is washed. I thought to myself: "Excuse me? What planet do you live on? Literally every single hair stylist I have been to in my life has dried my hair with a towel after they washed it." It's hard for me to believe that a trained professional could commit such an oversight, that even a non-trained child would not commit. This is unacceptable. Also, the back of my shirt collar is stained, even after washed. I'm not sure if this is normal. I don't recall this ever happening before. The hair stylist spent a lot of time getting the hair color off my skin and ears. She didn't strike me as very well trained.

I've been going to this salon for years. Michelle was the first person to ever dye my hair and she took it very slow knowing how scared I was but also how excited I was. She was concerned (for good reason) about over doing it and helped me work my way up. She's very good at listening to what you want, honest about what is realistic, and has always come out better than expected. She is a true artist. I also hired her to do my wedding party with much success. I have many friends who have a lot of experience dying their hair and have been through numerous salons that will also vouch for the Gel House. With that said, the entire salon is a joy to be around. Good atmosphere, great conversation, and honestly is a place where professional friendships are born. Thank you Gel House for always being consistent. read more

Great customer service and friendly staff. Low quality products and terrible work. I use high quality shampoo and the dye they use didn't even last a week. My hair is so choppy and she claims she knows it was perfect. I've never had a worse hair cut or a worse experience. I know have to chop my hair and it won't be long enough before my wedding. Do your research before picking a place to get your hair done. I spent a lot of money for crappy quality. I'm not one to complain but the more I have to look at my hair the more irritated I get. I had a wonderful experience at the Gel House Salon. Ashley gave me the most beautiful eyebrows that never wash off. I feel so pretty that I rarely wear make up anymore. I am going back for permanent eyeliner because she is a a master at her craft. My pedicure done by Ashlynn was a true spa experience. The best message I have had in a long time.
