It started out as a convent location for a holiday pamper session with my daughters. I have been returning every month since. We are going on 3 years now. Thao and I have fun coming up with new designs every month. When I finally convinced my husband to try a pedicure he loved it and continues to return. The staff is great and the business is clean. Had a dip manicure today for myself and a pedicure (deluxe type) for my mother. I was seated 30mins after my apt and in and out within 20- uneven nails, chipped once I got to my car. Lots of dip and gel on my skin. My mother's pedicure - anything but relaxing. Hot pink on her skin , and her nails like crooked daggers. This is a women who has her toes always on spot but I wanted to treat her to a new spot. Walked out $140 plus ready to redo them at our old place. Avoid !!! No cleaning between client before and me, no cleaning nails with alcohol before dipping which is standard in my experience with dips. read more

Have you sworn off getting your nails done because they never last? Then you need to try the gel manicure from Pure Nails. This is the first time I've had nails last out the door, let alone 3 weeks later. I'm talking, they stayed beautiful through packing and loading the car for our trip, the entire trip and unloading the car once we got back. They did a wonderful job on both my 9yr olds and my nails. Have been a customer for 2 years set appointment every three weeks. The last 3 visits I have arrived and my nail tech/owner is just starting someone, either doubled booked, a walk in or running really far behind. I have confirmed my appointment through the auto appointment scheduler and I am on time and have missed no appointments in the two years. This is unacceptable to me and waiting 20 or 25 minutes for an appointment doesn't fit my schedule, that is the reason I make an appointment for the next time with each visit. Today I told her I would reschedule and left, had my nails done elsewhere. I feel that I am not an important customer to the nail tech/owner. read more

I really wanted to like this new nail salon since I always drive to Redding. However, Bill was impatient and chastising when he couldn't get the right angle to apply the acrylic. Several nails were much shorter than the rest, the acrylic was uneven, and the shape was off and not uniform. Very disappointing! read more

Recently went in for a pedicure and a dip manicure. Bill seemed to be in a rush and gave a subpar experience. The color I picked out looked nothing like the color that was on the reference sheet, and I wanted to say something about it but Bill seemed to be so impatient and rude throughout the experience I figured I rather just pay my money and get out of there. He left me in the pedicure seat after my pedicure and did my manicure there which was at an awkward angle and he kept on telling me to hold my hand the right way. I tried to not get frustrated with him,but I've had many many manicures over the years and I've never had someone be so rude and impatient. SAVE your money and go somewhere else. Not worth the 75$ and as I look through these reviews I have to be the fourth or fifth person to complain about this. read more

well it started good w/ cinthia after putting nail polish getting paid, a nice tip she walks away to the back room and did come back. I had to check if my nails were dried make another appointment with someone else. Did she not like the tip I gave? $10.00. For a $35, Pedicure,well it was rude not planning on going back. This is the absolute worst pedicure I've ever had in my 30 years of getting my feet done. The gentleman seemed like he couldn't be bothered and there were no other customers waiting! Not only that, the quality of the paint job was shoddy and when he trimmed my cuticles carelessly, he cut my skin on several toes and I had scabs for more than a week. The final straw was when he went to empty the tub and he took a sharp metal tool and jabbed it down at the drain to puncture the plastic liner and it kept hitting my foot! My granddaughters and I had a great experience at Pure Nails Bar. They were able to accommodate all three of us on short notice and did a great job with our pedicures and gel nails. Bebe and another nail technician who did one of the girls' nails were both friendly, courteous and efficient and the atmosphere was very nice. We will definitely be back. Ever since Pure Nails bar opened, they've been the only nail salon I really go too. I always get an ombré manicure and she always does such a good job and does them pretty quick too!!
