Yea five times here. I guess it's just nostalgia that bring me back here. It's one of perhaps 3 Irish bars in the area. Drinks. More then just Estrella, Moritz or San Miguel. Food - they got rid of my two favorite kinds of wings. The bitch burger and Diablo wings are the second hottest I've ever had. This comes from a guys who have had a carolina reaper. Ensure you ask for burgers medium rare as they will come medium to medium well. They like to cook the hell out of their food here. Service - hit or miss but still more Western attentive. Location - just outside of the tourist center. Size - gets crowded but can find a table. Whiskey - it's all over priced in Barcelona, but this place is cheaper then other. Full of Americans! I came here with a bunch of people from my study abroad class and there was just about enough space for us all to sit/stand near each other. The drinks are cheap ish which is good for college kids. Staff is also really friendly! My only complaint is the music is usually weird remixes of popular songs. read more

This was a really big spot for tourists and they really cater to the American crowd. They threw a going away party at the end of the semester for the Americans who were studying abroad in Barcelona. Its an absolutely enormous place, so its difficult not to find someone interesting to talk to. However, the drinks are pretty pricey (I think someone bought a 7 euro beer...although it was big). It has a great location and fine atmosphere but nothing super memorable. read more

Shame on me for going to this bar when TRAVELING ACROSS THE WORLD. I had to go as it was the only place playing NFL games near us. Do not go here at night time as the drinks are wildly overpriced in comparison to other places nearby. There are no locals here. If this bar was in Scottsdale, Arizona I might consider going if the beer was cheaper. But this bar is in Barcelona. Avoid. Plus one star because the staff is pleasant and they actually show American Football. Everything else is shizite. read more

Probably the best and biggest Irish Pub in Barcelona. It offers exactly what you want from an Irish pub: Sports, Live Music, Ambiance and Guinness. Food is also placed at good prices. Everyday there is a new deal, depending on the time you arrive at the bar. read more

We stayed a few days in Barcelona and were looking for a quick and easy place to get a bite and have a drink. We both like British and Irish ciders on draft so we looked for pubs specifically and found the George Payne not too far from our hotel. The decor is what you'd expect in a pub, with a lot of wood on the floors and walls. We sat at a high top, interestingly this establishment didn't have any seats at the actual bar itself. It was fairly busy and there were more customers than they had servers to serve so we waited a good bit for menus and our drink orders. We got a couple of ciders which I don't remember the brand but was served over ice which was interesting. It was good however, and for food we got a sampler platter of bar type food such as mozzarella sticks, onion rings, wings etc. There were several large TVs on the walls but all that was apparently going on was tennis (very hard to find American football on tvs anywhere). All in all we had a good time and the prices were reasonable. We'd stop back if we're ever in Barcelona again. read more

Good location but strange choice of what to broadcast on TV. Came to bar to watch big football game, Man U vs Liverpool. Bartender had small TV with game, 40 people crowded watching game. Huge TV had a rugby game, no one watching it and bartender refuses to change. Average pub food. read more

Irish pubs do not excel in originality and this one is no exception: interior, drinks and food are as expected. The staff is not Irish yet friendly (my barman was French), and the crowd mixed and thirty-ish. read more

Great pub, the food it's good, services was fast, happy hour its just amaaaazing!! I think its from 2 to 6 you can pick 2 dishes and paid the expensive one, Ribs are good, buffalo wings GOOD as well... The only think I didn't like the music was too high for me its was difficult to listened my friends which were next to me!! but overall GOOD bang for the buck! read more

This place is a rip off. My girlfriend and I went to watch the Super Bowl,and they turned the game off and closed in the 3rd quarter. After spending money on dinner and drinks they just closed, even after stating on their website that they were showing the Super Bowl. This bar promises a lot but fails to deliver. The service is slow and at time curt. They boast the best burgers in town, but they are preprocessed. The same with most other non burger dishes. A beer price for a tourist trap pub isn't bad. That is to say its over priced. When you can drink 660 ml of beer for 3 euros about a 100 yards away it pays to look around. read more

I have been here only a few times. The place looks nice, it is a large Irish pub, with comfortable seats. You can get your average drink, as in any other bar. The staff is extremely slow, though. One time I was there for 30 minutes and did not get any waiter to come and serve me! I don´t mind to get to the bar for my drink, but after 15 minutes waiting at the table I made it a game to see how much longer it would take to get a waiter to get to my table. They never came, so we left! read more
