Great Food, in an area with not a lot of options. They do have breakfast burritos too!

Yummy! We shared a salad, an appetizer, and a pizza…read more I think the appetizer - Montemarine?- was my favorite! It had grilled onions and prosciutto on bread. Oh my. So delicious! The pizza was exquisite as well. The crust is everything! We did the salciccia e fungi. Everything great. I'd return!

Ah, that satisfied the Pizza cravings…read more What I got a couple of items in a party of 2. Calamari, this was good, I thought it was nicely battered and fried. I had to try the homemade mozzarella and got the principessa, this was okay - I tasted more of the arugula than the cheese... The Pizza was very good, I got the confiding and this was veggies one. There were eggplants and olives and so. It was tasty, I thought the crust was a little on the thinner side but overall it was still good. The serving sizes were very big I thought, though the pizza was a personal size, I thought it was quite big and can be shared with another person. Environment Parking here was decent, there was quite a number of parking available, but I can see that it can get filled up pretty quick. The interior was quite big there were a lot of table seatings and there was also an outside seating area. Niceness of the staff Seems very fast paced but I was able to get what I needed with no issues. The food came out fairly quickly. Dollar It can add up if you get too much. The appetizers were 15$+ and the pizza was $21.... So it can add up really quickly... Yes I would return here.

Came in hyped for some "legendary" brisket and left feeling personally attacked by food. Staff…read moreacted like we were interrupting their very important TikTok scrolling session--barely looked up when taking the order, zero smiles, one-word answers, and straight-up rolled their eyes when I asked for extra sauce. Probably because I heard they make them share tips with the back crew. Pay the back crew better then. The meat? Dry as a cardboard box left in the Nevada sun for three summers. Brisket had the texture of an old boot sole and somehow zero smoke flavor--like they forgot to turn the smoker on. Ribs were tough, overcooked, and tasted mostly of disappointment. Coleslaw was just sad shredded cabbage swimming in watery mayo. Beans were straight from a can with zero seasoning. Even the sweet tea tasted like someone stirred it with regret. $18 for a two-meat plate that made me wish I'd just eaten gas station jerky instead. Place sucked. Atmosphere sucked. Food sucked. Would not return even if they paid me. 0/10, do not recommend unless you hate yourself

I ordered the house salad with pulled pork on it. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. We were both happy with our choices. My salad was fresh, the cucumbers and tomatoes cut into small pieces, plenty of meat on top, and two containers of delicious thick ranch dressing. I had to ask for the tortilla chips that came with it. My husband had to ask for pickles. Both minor things. Service was fast and friendly. Our server checked back with us a couple of times. There was a lit-up bar area, several tables, and a few tv's to watch. They also have outdoor seating. The restrooms were outside. Everything was clean. If we were local, we'd go there regularly.

I really wish I could give a better review, because we were genuinely excited to work with Blue…read moreRibbon Barbecue for our wedding. This review reflects our experience with them as a caterer. The food itself was decent--definitely not Texas-level barbecue, but for Montrose, it's what you'd expect. We ordered 90 plates with the intention of having leftovers (74 mouths fed), but there were none. When our coordinator reached out, Tyler (the owner) explained that he always brings extra food so guests can have seconds. That didn't quite add up--why would a caterer bring extra food beyond what was paid for? It left us wondering whether the portions were simply miscalculated. Another issue was the food temperature. The small burners used during setup weren't effective at all. We were among the first to eat, and our food was already cold. I can only imagine how it was for guests at the later tables. One of the biggest disappointments was the trailer. We had a lot of family traveling in from Texas and were thrilled about the idea of Tyler's trailer, which has a big Texas graphic on the side. We mentioned this during our initial meeting and were quoted for 80 plates. Later, when we increased to 90 and asked about the trailer again, Tyler told us he doesn't bring it for larger catering events. That was a real letdown--not just aesthetically, but practically. We suspect the food would've stayed much warmer had the trailer been used instead of the burner setup. Overall, while the barbecue was okay, the experience didn't meet expectations--especially given the excitement and planning that went into it.

Blue Ribbon Bar-B-Que is outstanding!…read more Grabbed some food at a local music concert and who would have thought that this food truck would be da bomb! The mesquite smoked beef brisket sandwich was tender, juicy, packed full of flavor and plentiful! Ask for a fork and extra napkins...you'll need them! Our friend got the Bar-B-Que Sundae which looked delish! Gonna have to try that out next time! Overall we loved our sandwiches even though they were a little on the pricey side...two sandwiches (15.25/each) which included a small bag of Lays Potato chips. Plus a 20% tip...of course that was at our discretion. Bottom line, was it expensive? Yeah, but the food was great and I will never stop supporting our local food trucks and businesses! If you wanna grab some of Blue Ribbon Bar-B-Que's smoked deliciousness, their hang-out is at the Home Loan State Bank/Enstroms Parking Lot in Montrose.
