    Smoked Sausage

If I could rate 3.5, I would. Canyon Smokehouse was pretty much the only game in town Thanksgiving weekend. The joint was packed to the gills. Like most BBQ joints, you order at the counter and pick up your food later. Ratings of the meats are below. All the meats were not warm enough. The ribs were cold. Ribs - 2 out of 5 Sausage - 3 out of 5 Brisket - 4 out of 5 Everything was served Texas Style. The available sauces were just OK. The green Chile Mac and cheese was a good side. The people were friendly. There is no theme or Ambiance. It's just there. If you go, get the brisket and avoid the ribs.

Foreground is the brisket, background shows the portion size!

What a find!!! Stopped in on our way back to Moab from the Four Corners monument. Both had "The Mac" (Hatch chili Mac n Cheese, his had brisket on top and mine had pulled pork) and it was AMAZING!!! Portions were very large!! Staff were friendly and helpful, restrooms were clean and the establishment was decorated well.

Back again in Bluff and wouldn't miss another dinner at Canyon Smokehouse. Brought some friends this time and again had a great meal. Highlights this year were the Cajun sausage, the brisket Birria tacos where the depth of flavor in the birria dip is amazing, the hatch green chile Mac and cheese and the banana pudding crème brûlée which is not to be missed. We managed to get the last one. Thanks for another great night

The Banana cream pie crème brûlée was so GOT-DANG good I almost cried in the restaurant (instead I cried in the parking lot)

The BBQ here in Bluff Utah, ain't no bluff at all! I've searched high and low for a half decent BBQ joint in this state soon as I showed up 6 months ago, now that I'm on a trip back home I done found it (ain't that how the cookie crumbles)! If you're looking for good BBQ then look no further, this is any lover of BBQs Zion, their diamond in the desert. Service and ambience were to match the food quality, speedy and polite like family. If should trek this way again, I will fight tooth and nail to divert the family roadtrip get a table at this place.

Charred bbq Cauliflower tips w/green chile Mac n cheese and Brisket tacos. Pinot Grigio & local beer.

I was surprised to find vegetarian options at this restaurant, but they had a delicious cauliflower dish with yummy green chile Mac n cheese. They serve large portions, but save room for the cream cheese brownie. You order/pay at the counter and then your food is brought out, it was a quick process. The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly.

Larger dining area than it looks from outside.

We had an above average meal and we were happy this small town offers a variety of good options. The array of barbecue sauces was impressive as was the serving of jalapeño jelly with the cornbread. You order immediately as you walk in. Meat by the pound or meals with side dishes are available. The person taking the order was efficient. You have a vibrating buzzer so you know when to head to the counter for your order. The decor is very fun and much bigger than it appears from outside. The parking area was full of cars, it almost deterred us from dining. But once inside there were empty tables. Food arrived in no time.

Nacho w brisket. Already started eating.

Very so-so, but what do you expect in the middle of nowhere? I can't even recommend their side dishes. It is the best in town though.

Don't be fooled by pics of the bar -there wasn't a drop of hard liquor to be found anywhere in town - it's apparently outlawed, lol. Only beer and wine available.

Probably because I heard they make them share tips with the back crew. Pay the back crew better then. The meat? Dry as a cardboard box left in the Nevada sun for three summers. Brisket had the texture of an old boot sole and somehow zero smoke flavor--like they forgot to turn the smoker on. Ribs were tough, overcooked, and tasted mostly of disappointment. Coleslaw was just sad shredded cabbage swimming in watery mayo. Beans were straight from a can with zero seasoning. Even the sweet tea tasted like someone stirred it with regret. $18 for a two-meat plate that made me wish I'd just eaten gas station jerky instead. Place sucked. Atmosphere sucked. Food sucked. Would not return even if they paid me. 0/10, do not recommend unless you hate yourself

There are a moderate number of seats available, but the restaurant filled up quickly. Clean interior, basic decor. FOOD: Very limited menu, no alcohol. We ordered the ravioli and sage chicken. The ravioli was delicious with a nice cream sauce, we enjoyed the addition of the sun dried tomatoes. The chicken was also delicious, stuffed with a mixture which included sage to impart more sage flavor. The chicken dish was accompanied by a generous scoop of flavored rice and Brussels sprouts cooked with dried cranberries. OVERALL: We were very pleased with the meal and full afterwards. We had the crabmeat "boats" for an appetizer, which was a halved avocado (2 boats - one per half) overflowing with the crabmeat and jicama shreds, flavored with mango sauce, cayenne, and paprika. It was superb!!! My husband had their signature burger, which also had a delicious array of seasonings and mango sauce on a pretzel roll. I had their salmon, which was a generous slab of salmon accompanied by asparagus and roasted cauliflower (I opted to switch the potatoes for cauliflower). Honestly, this was a special meal for us and Duke's made it an excellent evening.
