The selection was plentiful and prices were $45+, depending on size. I chose the Deluxe Wild Child option which is the designers choice. I figured they would make something amazing. I left a note for the florist that the recipient loves bright colors, roses, and exotic flower to help with the decision. I'm in a different time zone and the day was passing by without an update. I gave Rosaspina a call and the knew exactly my order, was very pleasant on the phone, and was also eager to celebrate. I was told a photo of the flowers would be sent to me as well. The flowers were delivered an hour or so later. I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, the flowers turned out to be a piece of art. Absolutely stunning! A bright birthday bouquet that was perfect. I loved the detailed email updates, the studio photo of the creation, and the delivery was wonderful. The flowers came in a stylish square vase. Cost: $58 for standard, $115 for deluxe, and $173 for premium. $20 for hand delivery. I left a $10 tip for their excellent service. This local florist in Montclair, NJ is top tier. Thank you!

I know accidents happen when shipping. I specifically asked for bird of paradise flowers as well as orchids. I was told by the young lady who took the order that it should be no problem. I had ordered from Rekemeier's in the past so I trusted them to do the right thing. What actually arrived was far from what I expected and certainly not worth the $225 price tag. A couple of yellow orchids and yellow roses that looked shriveled and on their last legs. Lots of greenery "filler" as well. I immediately called to advise them of my dissatisfaction and spoke with the lady who took the original order. She apologized profusely and told me she would speak to the owner and call right back. When I got the call, I was told that the owner gave me "what he had" and couldn't get the bird of paradise that I specifically wanted. He was aware of all this on Friday at which point a call should have been made to me to give me options. No such call was made. Of course my wife told me how happy she was so as not to hurt my feelings. I don't think this business understands the emotional element and consequences of disappointment. They closed their location in Cranford and business has suffered. I'll have to find another florist who cares a little more about repeat customers. BTW I was given a 25% discount on the order as an apology. It's been my experience that a business does not discount unless they have egregiously done wrong. Never again Mr Rekemeier.
