One room has china and bric a brac and toys. It is not neat. The toys were all spilled over the floor and hard to navigate past. They also have clothes, household goods, books, and jewelry plus a lot of miscellaneous stuff. The day we came they had a sale on some of their items. We did find a couple small things to purchase. The thrift store is located on the campus of Faith Church across from the sanctuary near the flag pole. The store is staffed entirely by friendly volunteers who donate their time. Hours are Wednesday through Saturday 10 to 4. Proceeds from donations are used to fund local and global missions. Blessings and Bargains has several rooms filled with household goods, children's toys, men's, women's, and children's clothing, accessories, small appliances, glassware, collectibles, linens, books, puzzles, and art. They even had some vintage pieces. Some of the sales they had going on included fill a bag with clothes for $5 and 50 percent off coffee makers and previous holiday items. Some of the clothes were even brand new with the tags attached. Everything was well organized and inexpensively priced. Blessings and Bargains is a great resource if you need budget friendly clothing, children's items, or are starting a new household. It is also a fun place to explore if you enjoy thrifting as I do. The store is small inside but packed with clothes, accessories, perfume and cologne, and a few home goods. They had a nice selection of purses. Items were both new in package and used. For instance I saw new bedsheets and comforters, some clothes still with tags, and children's shoes. Outside they have a few books, artificial floral arrangements and plants, appliances, and other large items including a bicycle. The store is operated by a family and the kids were playing while the adults sat outside. I am more of a vintage shopper so the items here weren't really my taste but I would stop by if you needed inexpensive clothes and shoes or perhaps something for a residence starting out.

Inside, there are a lot of women's clothing -- nicely sorted by size -- shoes, and scarves, etc. There's a separate rack for Chico's brand clothing -- again sorted by sizes. Plus a lot more purses and wallets. No men's clothes, however. On the top shelves, there's some brick a brac. Plus a small separate room in the back has some China and collectibles. There's also assorted jewelry. And a couple bargain baskets of $1 and $3 items to dig through. We wound up getting a few things for the grand daughter from the baskets. Everything is neatly arranged and the store is easy to navigate. And the lady manning the desk was quite pleasant.

The sales person suggested that we check on the items in their Delray store. We'd been to the Boynton store a few times & had bought a teak bench. The Delray store selection is somewhat different. They have a large side yard with an enormous (for the size of the store) collection of pottery planters, decorative objects and more. Inside the small air conditioned space is an eclectic mix of decorative objects from around the world. Although my taste tends to run to modern pieces, I found myself drawn to a small table that is not like anything else we own. We bought this little table that looks as if it would come alive, if only in a Disney animated movie!

I'd seen their ribbon cutting/opening promotion on line and bookmarked them to stop by when next in the area. Right now, they have a lot of clothing. And a nice rack with a 50 percent discount/off. Plus there are daily specials (see photo). In addition to clothes, there's a little bit of artwork, a small amount of furniture and household stuff, and a few pieces of jewelry. I tried to find something to buy without luck. Quite a few items are not marked. I think they should correct this to make everyone feel more comfortable that the price is consistent to all buyers. They meet every Saturday at United Methodist Church, in East Boca Raton from 9AM-11:30AM. Changing Lives prepares and distributes food, drinks, clothes, reading glasses, toiletries and other items to those in need. To fund their mission, Changing Lives operates this thrift store in Boca Raton on Dixie Hwy. All proceeds from this store go to helping the homeless.
