We have been here but it's been a while -- in my pre- yelp days. So it's a "boutique" and it's in Boca Raton but it's still a goodwill -- and not the best one at that. The people are friendly -- they say hello on entering -- but the prices are crazy. Even if you qualify for the senior discount which is 25% off on certain days -- there are no bargains here, Yes, there are a number of items with "designer" names, but most are not in the best shape or quality. So without the label, you wouldn't give most things a second look. It's a small shop in a corner shopping center. There are restaurants nearby. So parking isn't a problem. The items were then given to the people who worked on them or resold. Goodwill's philosophy is "a hand up, not a hand out". Today Goodwill has become a $5 billion nonprofit organization that provides job training, employment, and community programs for people who have disabilities that might prevent them from getting a job on their own. This Goodwill store is one of their boutique locations that sell name brands and may be priced higher than a traditional Goodwill store. Some boutique locations have tried to make their stores look nicer but this small store looks like a traditional Goodwill. In addition to clothes, they sell home decor, art, jewelry, and accessories. I noticed a blue coach purse was selling for $35. On the day I visited green tags were 50 percent off. I found 14 pieces of my grandmothers china pattern that was marked down from $25 to $12.50. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The woman working the register snapped at every customer. i mean every customer including myself. Two customers ahead of me and they were cussing each other out. This place is very unwelcoming. Go a few miles down the road and go to the one in deerfield beach. that one is awesome read more

Pricing is horrendous, manager stays in backroom to price everything personally so she can squeeze every penny out of every item. She needs to take a class on pricing of "donated" items and a class on common courtesy and customer service. Many items she prices can be purchased for less at Ross or Marshalls, where they are new and not used. Floor personnel are very nice, courteous, and always welcome you. Manager is just the opposite! I have donated thousands of dollars worth of designer clothes and bags over several years. However the sales people have gotten so rude that I refuse to donate to them any longer. Its also very difficult to drop off donations in the back of the store where its a single lane with many trucks blocking the way. I'm going to Habitat for Humanity instead where they are much nicer and I believe the donations are more directly targeted. read more

This place is a lot smaller then most goodwills and feels more curated then other stores. You'll mainly find more 'designer' items then just a large selection of anything that you have to look through. read more

Similar to other Goodwill stores in the area, it is of a reasonable size and offers a variety of usable finds. From home goods to clothing to books to sports gear, you stand the chance of finding a vintage treasure... The store is organized, clear layouts make it easy to find exactly what you are looking for without rummaging... Came in for a specific item: picture frames with a vintage charm but alas didn't see any that fit my decor. read more

Overpriced goods and staff is super rude. I was paying for some shoes and the lady at the register asked me to put the basket at the entrance of the store, but I was getting my money out. She got upset that I didn't do it fast enough so she yanked the basket from the counter, muttered something, and slammed my receipt on the counter. Not worth the rudeness. read more

Because this Goodwill is smaller than the one in Delray, the store is organized better. What I don't like about this Goodwill is that each item is priced out differently where as the one in Delray will have a rack of T-shirts all priced at $1.99 or all dresses priced at $10 or whatever. Great place to find nice clothes that are better than the usual thrift store quality and still at a cheap price. Plus they do deals all the time! All of the shirts that I bought were originally $7-$12 and I got them half off of that! I will definitely be checking back there often to see what new stuff they get. I love a good thrift shop, I love a great Goodwill. Unfortunately, I was not impressed by this particular location. The store itself is pretty small, so if it's crowded, good luck maneuvering the store. The merchandise is just as the store suggests 'boutique'-like. There are multiple (full) sets of fine china priced at about $154.00 each. I was more so interested in the furniture at the back of the store. It was overpriced as well. There was a dining set priced at $374.00; that's what I would expect for a brand new set, not used. On the opposite side of the store are the handbags. Now, I will admit that the handbag deals were pretty sweet. There was a purple Coach bag priced at $20.00. Other brands included Michael Kors and more. The average price of the handbags were $20-$30. The average price of pants were $12-$15. If you ask me, I pay these prices for brand new clothes. I'll check out the other Goodwill stores in the area, but my visitation to this store was a one-and done. read more

I came here to donate my things and the man whom I gave them to was EXTREMELY rude. He complained about what I was giving him wouldn't make them money and that it was a ridiculous amount of things to be dropping off. I was appalled at how rude this man was because I was extremely nice to him. I regret ever donating my things to this place. I will NOT be donating here ever again. Do better. read more

So imagine this. You go into goodwill, you're digging through the racks, and alas! You find a brooks brothers (or any brand for that matter) dress shirt! Victorious! It's a nice shirt, used, but nice. You take it to the register, expecting it to be the normal goodwill price of 5-7 dollars. And boom. The cashier says your total will be $25.48. For one used shirt, from goodwill. That's the story with everything in this store. I've seen plenty of normal goodwills with way nicer clothes and way higher end brands for lower prices than this particular "boutique" read more

I will never give to goodwill again. We donate constantly and made a mistake and donated the wrong lamps. Recognized our error with two hours. The store made us buy our lamps back. Horrible customer service for people who support them. I will find corporate headquarters and complain to them as well. read more

My second stop on Sunday was at the Goodwill "Boutique" store in Boca Raton, still searching for the ultimate hoochie dress with my girlfriend. We decided to narrow our search to Goodwill Boutique store fronts only hunting for that ever elusive "something slutty, yet trendy" dress. Neither of us even realized Goodwill had trendy upscale stores! We hit the jackpot at this location!! She had choices of dresses, many with the original tags still attached and never worn! Wow... She ended up buying two dresses and I got a great looking print button-up shirt. A nearly $400 dress for $35 (brand new-never worn), a $15 little black dress to die for, and the ear-to-ear smile was free. The Goodwill Boca Boutique storefront also had trendy women's accessories, hand bags and clutches, killer spiked heels and other designer label merchandise at unbelievable prices. Their inventory of furniture and household items was very limited and almost non-existent. The Boca Boutique location has ample parking and a friendly staff. So I highly recommend the Boca Raton Goodwill Boutique for that upscale clothing shopping spree. Schweeeet! read more
