This was the most expensive hospice resale shop I've been to. While I understand supporting a good cause, the quality of the items felt pretty mediocre for the prices being asked. I've been taking donations to this thrift shop in recent months as I'm helping a friend move out of a big house he's been in for 20 years. He has many nice things, but not as much room going forward. The volunteers who take in the donations are pleasant and welcoming. Recently I needed a belt went inside the store for the first time--what a nicely laid out space! I found a nice belt for a reasonable price and came away very impressed with the merchandise, the organization, and the friendly volunteer personnel. read more

This was a good thrift shop... as it says, more resale than thrift. Prices vary from very reasonable to a tad high -- but this is Boca. And it's for a good cause ... for hospice care. They have a little bit everything, with more bric a brac and housewares than anything; some clothing, shoes, and tiny bit of furniture; some books, etc etc. Look for the sake tags. They are color coded and will alert you to what's full price or half price. They also have a few racks if discounted items grouped together. I didn't see anything that appealed -- except an adorable tiny tea set that was out of my price range. My husband did buy a book he'd been looking for... I love this place! They have a fabulous selection of clothing furniture and furnishing. It's kept very clean and neat. The volunteers are friendly and helpful. The proceeds help pay for hospice for people that cannot afford it. read more

This thrift store supports Trustbridge, a non profit that offers different therapy programs and end of life care. They help a patient cover what Medicaid and insurance won't. They also have a resale shop in Juno Beach and West Palm Beach. I was impressed with the amount, quality, and price of the merchandise. They sell furniture, household goods, art, accessories, and shoes. A lovely wedding dress complete with veil and gloves was only $40. The had a good selection of furniture that was interesting and a number of china sets. Depending on what color dot was on the tag you could find an additional 50 percent off the already good prices on certain items. The store was well organized and items were displayed attractively. I really liked a Temptations bake set and that was the only item I thought was priced too high at a $100. You can buy sets brand new all day long on QVC for way less money. There are a lot of thrift stores in this area and this is a good one to add to your list if you are making the rounds. read more

Bittersweet place. Just the word alone, "Hospice" makes you think a little bit harder about the things we collect while here and leave behind when gone. The store is organized, and has multiple kitchen items to clothing to furniture to plants to choose from. I would like to donate some items here. We had a love one pass a week ago, and it is time for her belongings to be enjoyed by someone else. Enjoy each day and moment that you have. read more

RE: DONATION PICK UP My friend arranged for the hospice retail store to pickup donation items today at a storage unit in Boca Raton. This was a very difficult emotional day for her. The 2 gentlemen ( Michael & David ) were the most patient, professional and polite service representatives that I have come across in years. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness. I was impressed with their furniture, dishware, and jewelry. Their inventory has more that I didn't have a chance to look over on this visit. The shop is well organized and well run. Kudos to the staff! I also was happy to support Trustbridge who took great care of my late father. read more

"Manager" changed price on me at the register. The thrill of thrifting has always been finding gems in the wild that others may have overlooked. Today, while at the Boca location, I was looking in the shoe section and found a pair of Chanel women's sandals. I assumed the workers thought the pair of sandals were fake since they were only priced at $6... but I did not care since they were my grandmothers size and I was excited to get them for her. And honestly, these days at the thrift store, designers like Chanel are always marked up... so I was excited to find a gem and be able to gift them to my grandmother at Thanksgiving! I got to the register and the man behind the counter said, "hold on, I need to take these into the back and check if the price is correct." He then returned and told me that unfortunately, one of their volunteers accidentally priced the shoes too low and I quote, he said, "it is really a good thing I caught it at the register." He then presented a new price to me which was $106... At this point, I asked for a manager... and he said, "I am the manager." For any establishment to do this, whether its a thrift or retail store is just plain wrong. His volunteers missed this. The people he is supposed to be training to catch these type of designers missed this. His volunteers priced this item and put it on the floor and he did not honor the mistake. The days of thrifting and finding gold in the wild are dead. I've enjoyed my time thrifting at this location and its a shame to have this type of experience. Shame on the "manager" and to all others who work here to allow this to happen to customers. Show some accountability and own your mistakes... even if they aren't yours. read more

This place is a joke! Very high prices and cheap damaged items. Furniture that they call antique ... well it is just old dirty cheap junk! Stay away. I went there once and will not be back. Awful! I guess because it is in Boca Raton, they feel like they can charge outrageous prices. Not for me. read more

This was the second best thrift store we visited in Boca. We were so grateful that we were able to try everything on and a dressing room. We ended up spending over $60 on some really nice pieces. There was a so much in the store that I couldn't see everything that I wanted to in one visit. They take credit cards which is a plus and it was easy and fast to pay. I was so glad to see the staff being super careful and wearing their masks. read more

They have little concept of how to move product for charity and the staff always seems grumpy. The same pair of shoes have been there for 7 months with no reduction in price! read more

I have been to this shop twice. I really enjoy shopping here as their merchandise is well priced, clean and many brand names. The downfall is there is only one fitting room available. I will definitely be back when I am in the area! read more

Some nice furniture items with decor, clothes and accessories as well. Very clean and uncrowded. Looks like they took over the space that was previously Florence's Resale shop(?). Don't forget to visit Levis JCC Thrift afterwards, just around the corner and there's a quaint antique shop across the parking lot. I recommend grabbing lunch at Cosa Duce Italian Cafe/Bakery right across the parking lot which is somewhat charming and delish. read more
