Major leaks under the shower door and glass panel, squeaky hinges, and no solutions other than to blame the builder when I called them out to correct the leaking problem. Poor installation and a very disappointing experience. Also extremely overpriced on mirrors and cannot fabricate large wall mirrors - they require several smaller panels (four compared to two). These guys exceeded expectations. I got a stand up mirror almost 9 feet tall and before work I hastily tried to remove a sticker right in the middle of the mirror and like a dumb guy scratched my mirror with a sponge. I called 5+ places and The Glass Guys were willing to come on site take a look at it to see if they could do it. They ended up saying they could do it, get the mirror, and bring it to my house for the install. No other mirror or glass company would mess with it. They got the mirror and installed it in great time considering there were a million staples and it was super glued in. They were still able to get it out without messing up the frame. First, I have to say that I believe you have to deliver both a quality product & excellent customer service to receive a 4 or 5. Originally, were told it was a 7-day turnaround for a custom shower door. It took 3 weeks. Second, he insisted on cash in hand before he even started project and it was $100 more for credit/debit payments. The first install resulted in two cracked tiles in our shower which is apparently a common issue. But, they did not have a tile guy to repair them. The glass also did not fit. After getting a tile guy on out on our own and waiting a few more days, the shower door and panel was installed. It is much less than I was expecting for a custom shower door and panel. It leaks. The panel side is not sturdy and I can only hope that someone does not accidentally falling through it. In messages with owner Corey, he was quite snarky instead of providing expected service. I gave 2 stars because ultimately we do have a shower door that keeps most water in the shower. I would not use him again and have called another glass company out to see if they can fix leaks and sturdiness issues. read more

I surprisingly found this company on Yelp located in my Katy town, and called 3pm in the afternoon, they were able to fit me for a same day appointment in my house. They finished the window glass replacement work in a time manner and a very complete clean up on broken pieces of glass inside and out. I had a glass shower enclosure shatter while I was out of town. My poor dog sitter was freaked out and I called a few other places and nobody could even come look at it for several days. It was an emergency because there was glass everywhere and the rest of the enclosure was continuing to fall. The girl I spoke to from Glass Guys was so sweet and set me up for someone to come out within a few hours of contacting them. Corey came out and cleaned up all the glass that went everywhere and removed the remaining part of the enclosure that was falling. My sitter said he did a very thorough job and was pretty fast! I tried to order a protective glass top for my table, but apparently it wasn't meant to be. I called on a Thursday to get a quote, and I gave Corey the dimensions for my table and the price seemed good. He asked me to text him and provide the dimensions, which I did, and he said it could be ready early the next week. He called back on the following Tuesday, asked for the dimensions again, and quoted a slightly different price, and them said he would deliver that Friday (today). I waited around all day for my top. Sent a text message. No response. Called and he said they were swamped and could we reschedule the delivery for Tuesday. Said he'd call me back in 30 minutes to schedule a time. He actually calls back three hours later and said he has no record of the dimensions, or what he quoted me, and that, obviously, it hadn't been made. At that point, I just gave up and will be going somewhere else. read more

Monica in the office is AMAZING and works to get everything arranged to meet your schedule and helps coordinate design/accessories. My ONLY complaint would be they can run a little behind schedule, but that is because they have so many new customers (even since I used them earlier this year) and they truly are a small business. But they will work until 9pm if they have to to make sure the job is done!! Cory, the owner, did my install and came back himself to do a minor repair 7 months later (the seal was leaking). Every single time I've called the "office", the lady tells me she'll call me back in 15 minutes and I never received that call. Twice I've made an appt. and they've been a no show! Really!? I waited a few days before following up because things happen, right? I was told that their glass wholesaler had been slow lately returning quotes and that calls would be made to try and speed things along. I don't know about the quality of their work. I never got that far. They never even made to my house for the quote they promised three times. I emailed them on several occasions with no response. I went to their website were they have have a number listed and ask that you text them. I texted them 4 times. No response. They finally answered their phone a few days after my initial email. I scheduled for them to come out for an estimate. They said they would call before they headed out. I left work early to make sure I was home for the meeting. They never showed up. They didn't even call me to cancel. I called the following day to complain, but the girl that answered was so nice that I rescheduled after she apologized like 10 times. I was willing to give them another try just because of her. The next day the exact same thing happened. I have NEVER been treated this way by any business. She said it was because they are just to busy. If you are to busy, please be honest with your customers and don't schedule if you can't make it. read more
