Honestly, they don't even deserve 1 star. I had the worst customer service experience. I went in to buy incense, and the cashier asked me for my ID. I told him I wasn't buying a vape or any tobacco products, so I didn't think an ID was necessary. He refused to serve me without it, saying the store had been hit by the FBI and he couldn't sell anything without checking ID. I found this suspicious, especially because the woman next to me was buying a vape and wasn't asked for ID, and the man buying filters didn't get asked either. I bought 2 rechargeable batteries for my cartridges. I used one for a few hours (maybe a hit every 15 - 30 min) one evening and the battery died. I plugged it in, and waited. The next day, I opened the second one. Same thing happened. The following day I tried the first one after 24 hours of charging. Still didn't work. I thought, maybe a bad connection or a bad USB adapter. Tried another usb, and grabbed the second battery that had been charging for 24 hours. And it didn't work either!! Swapped that out with a different usb connector. Next day, still neither of them worked. 2 more days of trying multiple combinations, They still didn't work!!! It is obviously a bad product. I called the Glass House, they are the one who sold me a defective product. And they said I had to take it up with the manufacturer!?!?!?! I didn't buy them from the manufacturer, I bought them from my local small business!!! They won't exchange them because "they have a sign (which I did not see) that they do no refunds or exchanges". I'm sorry, but that is a crap excuse to not care for your customers or the quality of products you sell. I will acknowledge, I can understand why they could not refund/exchange their glassware or pipes or if a customer changed their mind. But this is not the case. THEY SOLD ME A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. And no, the product was not exposed to any heat or water or anything else that could damage it. Straight trash....went in less than 3 months ago and bought one of the biggest water pipes they had and a bubbler to go with. Fast forward to now the little part that holds the bowl breaks off. Nothing too major. Until I go in and try to find solutions from them. So I'm told there's no point in getting it fixed because there's a 50/50 chance it'll just break all together and to just buy another like I didn't blow over $200... on top of that the guy confesses they're made in China. So he basically told me I spent my money on a piece of crap and they knew from the start. I'll be getting a brand new baby but NOT from GLASS HOUSE. EVERRRRRR. Terrible customer experience. I bought a vape from a nice and helpful young woman last week. I stopped by this past Saturday evening for extra pods for my new vape. There was a tall guy working and I showed him my vape and pod. He pulled the new pods from the rack behind him and took to the register. I paid for them and while he was getting my change I realized they were the wrong ones. While I'm still standing at the register with an unopened package, he tells me that there are no refunds or exchanges. He would not exchange the unopened package that he gave me for the correct pods. I've been coming here since moving to Addison and every time find what I need. The service is great and they are beyond helpful. I love how honest they are about products and it's not always an up sell for them. I have no idea when (and if) I have ever received this bad customer service in US. Last Wednesday night I bought a Fantasia electronic hookah to try ($10), thinking if I like I would buy another type that is about $35 (refillable and rechargeable "e-hookah"). It was just one other customer and I at the store. On Friday I tried and it didn't work at all. Went back to the store expecting to exchange to another one working... The guy who sold to me said he couldn't do anything but when I tried in front of him, it worked. He said if I have any problem again I could come back and talk to the manager. Back home, I tried again. 2 "puffs" and it stopped working. Just went back to the store and another guy (the one who actually charged me when I first bought) asked me for my receipt. I told I didn't have it, he went to the back to call the manager, came back and said "without receipt we can do anything" but offer me 15%off in a new one. I explained to him he was the one who charged me 2 nights before, the other guy remembers me but that was it. A wall would be more responsive. I really don't understand this kind of customer service at all, especially a small business. I was asking for a replacement, not a refund. I have no idea how come they don't have an agreement with their supplier for this type of situation. So...because of $10, they will lose much more business right away: mine in regular basis, a friend who wanted to buy the $35 hookah, and the one who told me about the store (a heavy "user"). These types of stores can be hit or miss, and in my experience tend to be inconsistent with customer service. Given that the products that these shops sell are becoming more prolific and mainstream, I demand a higher standard from the brick and mortar shops I visit. I have reached the point where I know mostly what I want when it comes to smoking. When I need help, I visit a place like this. It is nice to see what is out nowadays, and have someone help you cut through the b.s. I have used zig zags for a few decades, and wanted to check out some less processed papers. The young man with braids was very helpful. He nailed down what I wanted with a few questions and made a good suggestion based on size, material, glue strength, and ease of rolling. After practicing a few times, I can roll these just as well as my old papers, but with better flavor and burn characteristics. Exactly what I wanted, and I didn't have to wade through a sea of crap to find them. I see criticisms of many of these shops stating that they upcharge quite a bit on some items, and while this is sometimes true, I haven't found the prices here unreasonable on anything I have bought. I have paid a couple more dollars for certain items because they had them available to check out. For example their prices on grinders were a couple bucks(literally two dollars) higher than I could get them online for(santa cruz shredder), but no shipping. I also got the ability to inspect it and make sure it was the quality I wanted. It was worth 2 dollars to buy in confidence and know it was what I really wanted. read more

Absolutely love this shop! First off we pulled up at 10:30 and the open sign was on so we went up to go inside and the door was locked. We then realized they didn't open till 11 but the owner came running up and unlocked the door so we could come in. He was VERY helpful and explained all the different cleaners to us that we were looking at. Very willing to show us any of the pipes we wanted. This has to be the absolute worst vape shop in DFW. The puff flows are almost $30. That's the most expensive I've EVER paid. On TOP OF THAT. IT MALFUNCTIONED ON ME. It was going off just by taping it. Not even smoking it. It was just going off. It was such a poor quality product it took such a big drag for the smallest puff and it was dead by the end of the day. When normally, a REAL puff flow will last me 3 days. Don't bother with the people here I have given this place 3 chances because it it close to my house. I will never buy from them again. I will make the 30-40 minute drive to a trusted vape shop I know buys good quality product. $20 for the puff flow AND he has a rewards system so I'm always saving money. The manager is a turd. I'm 26 and had my wallet stolen recently, and I have my ID on my phone. I drove all the way over here to get screens for my vaporizer. Just because I didn't have a hard copy of my id and had it on my phone instead, they wouldn't sell me my screens, even though I've been here 4 other times with the same picture on my phone. Originally, I loved this place. Then, I found there is an inconsistency on when you can use your 'discount card.' I used it several times, and redeemed it a few times when purchasing kratom. Then, they would not punch it all, even when NOT used on tobacco products. This pissed me off, especially since I was a great customer, coming in 2 or 3 times a week. For some things, this place is Ok. For kratom, stay away. A small bag of 14 grams is a whopping $ 20. You can go to the Smoke Shop Wholesaler and get a big bag of enhanced Maeng Da for the same price. read more
