I'm giving it a so-so review because of my waxing experience. I want to first and foremost say I did call the salon numerous times trying to get in touch with Michelle, and also messaged them on Instagram as they actively post on their regularly but have gotten nothing in return. I also want to start this post by prefacing that I have been a long Brazilian wax girly. Years. I've been loyal to EWC for years as I loved my waxer but hated their "wax pass" speech every time I walked past the place. I just moved to the area and GWB was recommended to me. #1: They use soft wax for Brazilians. Absolutely not. Anyone in industry knows that hard wax is much better for Brazilians. Again, I have been having this service done since I was maybe 21 years old, I am now 32, I wanted to come off the table to slap her it hurt so badly. #2: If youre planning on relaxing at all during your service, rest assured, you won't. You have to help the waxer with your own service to pull your skin taut leaving your hands covered in wax.. or maybe you'll get lucky like me and your waxer will cover your finger in wax. #3: She broke so much of my hair, missed multiple spots, including my butthole, and burned me. I left the appointment slightly sore, which is very normal. It wasn't until later that night when I showered I realized I was swollen. I had strips on my vagina that were red, raised, blistered and swollen. I used some calming cream I've used for years thinking I'll go away in the morning and it didn't. I went on my trip with hair (which then caused me to shave over the wax job.. so you can guess how bad my ingrowns were) I'm not sure if this is how they're trained, what they're being taught.. I'm not sure but I won't be back, unfortunately. I'd much rather give my money to a small local business rather than a huge corp like EWC but I guess I'll continue to search.

Oh my gosh, she is such a hidden gem!! It was my first time getting anything done to my face but Anh put me right at ease. I feel so luck to have found her! It's really disturbing to know that yelp hid all of her other 5 star reviews so no one knows how amazing she is unless that look closer at the "unrecommended reviews" - I truly hope this doesn't fall there too. I remember asking her about her yelp page and how there were no reviews and I chose her after I checked out her instagram and website and saw her amazing work. Otherwise yelp hides the reviews because she is not paying astronomical amounts of money to advertise with them. Shame on you yelp!! I've been coming here for almost 3 years and have always left happy...until this past Friday between 10-10:30 AM. There was only one lady working, an older woman with glasses. She was very kind, but unfortunately, this was the most painful threading session I've ever had. It felt like far too much hair was removed, and when she finished, she applied aloe without asking (something the other ladies usually do after checking if the customer wants it). When she handed me the mirror, I noticed my brows looked a little uneven, but since I was rushing to a doctor's appointment, I paid and left. Later, in better lighting, I was shocked. My brows were extremely thin...something I've never experienced here. I've always had naturally fuller brows, even though they've thinned slightly with age, and I take pride in keeping them that way. I honestly wanted to cry. I eventually called to share my concerns, and while no manager or owner was available, the girl who answered was very sweet and understanding. I explained what happened and suggested that the threaders be reminded to always confirm exactly what the customer wants...especially when someone asks for a simple clean-up. I know brows grow back, but this has been really upsetting, especially with an event I have next weekend. This is definitely a learning experience for me, and I just want to encourage others to be specific with their requests and, if possible, stick to a threader you trust for consistency.

First time and never again. Not only did I flush almost $100 down the drain, but half my brows are now missing/damaged and thinner than before I had this service. I think the chemical was either left on too long, or the rep did not have the experience to perform the service. Either way I was puzzled to see why my brows looked so thin and she proceeded top add colored gel and pencil to heavily fill them in. When I came home I saw that my right brow was missing a patch of hairs in the middle. They must have become damaged and broke off during the chemical process --but the girl never admitted to what had happened and covered it up. (Possibly why there was no screen flip or receipt to add a tip at the end.) She knew a lot of my hair just came off with the chemicals used and this was never explained to me, nor was I aware that this was a possibility before the service. What a joke to come home and see that the colored pencil was covering all the places the hairs broke off due to chemical damage. Will never return. I'm just sick and tired of incompetence. Management needs to train their staff and staff needs to explain their level of proficiency and training so we don't go in here blind and just make an appointment assuming the next person in the shift can do the job. AVOID!

Oh my gosh! This is my first time getting a spray tan, and I had a great experience. I was going on…read morea cruise and since moving to Arizona noticed that I had gotten a "farmers tan" on my arms and legs and wanted to even it out. The building they're located in is shared by other businesses. They have a studio toward the back which was easy to find. Denise was waiting for me when I arrived, I mentioned it was my first spray tan and whether that affected how she walked me through the process I don't know but it was great! She explained the process the different options and results of each. She really gave me all the information I needed without unnecessary details. Super helpful for my first time. Overall she walked me through every step of the process made me feel super comfortable, she was upbeat, positive, and she followed up the next day to see how the tan was doing. Again this is a studio setting it's a single room with just the two of you in the studio which I liked, and Denise made it a great first experience, and what I most appreciated was that I felt like I knew everything to expect and to do following the visit.
