I'll start by saying it's a given that every parent wants the very best for their children. When I returned to work, shortly after my son hit the 3 month mark, my biggest challenge was finding comfort knowing that he will have the love, attention and learning potential that he has at home with family. What a great decision we made to have him join The Goddard School. A family in our neighborhood recommended my husband and I visit open house at The Goddard School. We fell in love with the people, curriculum, cleanliness and programs for the children. I wondered how much my son would get out of the quality curriculums at such a young age. I wondered if I wanted to pay more and drive further to have him go to "daycare." After 2 months, I can say it's been worth it thus far. Mr. Chow runs a smooth operation. My husband and I are confident when we drop our son to school, knowing he is getting everything that is important to us. My son loves his teacher, Mrs Baires. She has a soft voice, warm vibe and works with my son everyday on his mental and physical development. He gets what he needs at school and when he moves up to the 1 year old class it will be hard for him to leave her classroom. He truly lights up when he sees her. For parents who have strict expectations, this crew is very open and understanding to how you want things done. The teachers are flexible with our requests, and we receive daily pictures with the activities he participated in that day along with an update on his eating and sleeping schedule. If this review isn't enough, call and ask Mrs. James for a tour. See for yourself.

As a parent you are naturally apprehensive about leaving your children anywhere with anyone (whether it be leisure or school). My oldest daughter (2.5 years old) began at Goddard in September of 2015 having come from another "named facility" my husband and I desired a more structured environment to develop her mentally, emotionally and physically. After searching around our home area in Cypress at all of the local facilities (Primrose, Children's Lighthouse, Kids R Kids, LaPetite, Champions etc. ) my heart found peace in my first and only tour with the Director, Mrs. James at Goddard. As working parents we had become tired of paying our hard earned money for an "8hour play date/5 days a week" at our previous facility. At her previous daycare I would watch online from the time I dropped her off until when I picked her up. Initially, this was my largest fear about starting at Goddard, but that passed within the first week. The updates and pictures through the day and the daily report via the Tadpoles app leaves no need to worry about what your child is doing. Needless to say, our 2.5 year old tells us EVERYTHING and is always excited about going to school to see her friends and teachers. The facility is ALWAYS clean (this in itself is a huge plus!) The teachers, staff, owners are all hands on and engaged in every aspect of your child. From the healthy meals/snacks (thanks Mrs. Jean ;), to the structured curriculum, the themed weekly activities and play time, I know that my child is learning and growing in a wholesome environment. She's tried to even teach us YOGA at night! What daycare in Houston other than a QUALITY facility teaches this daily?! When I was pregnant with our now 4.5 month old we knew that she would be at Goddard as well with no reservation; she is already rolling over, sitting up, eating baby food and doing YOGA as well! Just visit I promise you will find comfort, family and peace in the Goddards-CrossRoads School; we have. If i had to give a top 3 as to why we chose Primrose Crossroads when we were interviewing daycares…read morethey are below: - Cleanliness. It's a day care. There are going to be germs. But Primrose crossroads cleans and sanitizes every night and has frequent deep cleans and germ measurements, so I do feel like our son was sick less often than children at other schools. This was our #1 by far. - Structure with flexibility. We knew every day what our child would be working on in class. And got pictures! The activities that they did were so fun for the kids and it was very evident to see where your supply fee goes. They also offer part time programs and were very accommodating when things came up and he needed to come on a different day than his "normal" - The menu. This may be usual for most parents, but our son ate food at daycare, he will not eat at home! So we loved that he was getting great nutrition while he was there. Our son went to Primrose crossroads for 8 months before we had twins and hired a nanny, which worked better for us in the short term financially. During our son's time at the daycare, we had nothing but positive experiences. The teachers & entire team are so fantastic (special shout out to Ms Mack, Jamie, Dani and Ms. Griffin!) They are all very genuine and truly seem to love working with the kids. Our son made huge progress in his learning and development during his time there, so to me, this speaks highly not only of the curriculum, but the quality of teachers as well. Primrose isn't the cheapest tuition, but because of the areas they were above average, we felt like their prices were well worth it for where our child spent so much time. It was the right choice for us!

They have an app that keeps parents posted throughout the day about lunch, naps, potty times, recess, etc., and we can write in to the teachers directly with any questions or comments. They take safety, both covid safety and regular safety, very seriously. My child loves coming here and has flourished under his teachers' care. This is a very happy school with such positive energy.

I strongly advise against enrolling your child at this Kids R Kids or working here…read more I was recently hired at this location and quickly realized it was not a safe or supportive environment for children or staff. From the start, I had major concerns. The first red flag was the director, Jenn. She was extremely unprofessional, disorganized, and outright rude. She barely conducted an interview, simply asked for my personal information to run a background check, then handed me a large, messy stack of paperwork with errors throughout. Nothing was stapled or organized. When I returned for training the following week, I met Michelle, the Curriculum Director. She was hostile and dismissive. She talked for two hours without offering any meaningful guidance, then sent me on a long break. Afterward, Jenn told me Michelle had complained that I "didn't ask enough questions" and that I "should smile more" because I came off as uninviting despite the fact that Michelle didn't create a welcoming space in the first place. Besides, the only time I remember Michelle smiling was at one of her own jokes. After that, I was placed in a classroom with a teacher named Miss Cindy, who was the only kind and helpful person I encountered. In just 30 minutes, she taught me more about how the center runs than I learned during the entire training. Unfortunately, Jenn then moved me to the infant room, even after I made it clear I had no experience with infants. I'm 18 years old and the youngest children I've worked with before were 3 years old. I had never changed a diaper or cared for a baby, and it felt completely irresponsible for Jenn to place me in that position. The staff member (6'3, plus size, freckles, lightskin with glasses)I was paired with in the infant room initially seemed helpful but quickly began to take advantage of me, assigning all the diaper changes and giving vague instructions without any real guidance. She also failed to sanitize toys or maintain cleanliness, I ended up cleaning everything myself after she left. The center is severely understaffed due to how poorly employees are treated. People are quitting weekly, which only adds more stress and disorganization. At the end of the day, I expressed to Jenn that I wasn't comfortable working in the infant room due to my lack of experience. She ignored my concerns and insisted I stay in that room for the week, which felt incredibly irresponsible and unsafe. As someone who cares about children, I would never want someone inexperienced looking after my own child, and yet that's exactly what they were doing. To sum it up: Jenn is unprofessional and barely leaves her office unless it's to complain. Michelle is dismissive and full of herself Please find a better working environment if you plan on applying and If you plan on sending your child please find a better place to provide care

TRUNK OR TREAT BLAST!!!…read more Thank you so much to Kids R Kids Learning Academy for hosting a fun, exciting, and safe Halloween event for the community of Copperfield! My sister, Ms. Inger who is lead teacher for the two-years old toddler classroom, invited me to their annual Halloween Trunk or Treat Festival & I'm so glad I showed up. My grandkids had a wonderful time as they played games endlessly until they were worn out and tired! There were plenty of games, candy, food, and drinks! The directors and staff members were all welcoming and friendly as my sister introduced me to various coworkers. Thank you so much to all the educators and staff members of this establishment for all that you do! You are to be commended for your hard work! Happy Halloween!

Our oldest completed the primary program with Ms. Suba and Ms. Meena, who were absolutely fantastic. He transitioned smoothly into first grade at our local public elementary school, where he is thriving. Our youngest has been with Ms. Amanda, along with Ms. Antonette and Ms. Carrington, for two years and has gained remarkable independence and confidence. Thanks to their Montessori education at West Montessori, both of our children have become independent thinkers and risk-takers. It truly is a Montessori environment where the teachers are experts in their field. The leadership is equally impressive; the director, Ms. McAnelly, and the assistant director, Ms. Nasrin, are kind, professional, and understanding. With only four classrooms, the school feels like one big family. The fact that every staff member knows us personally creates a deep sense of safety and belonging, which has always been our top priority. What makes West Montessori special for our family: Family & Community Involvement: The school goes above and beyond to keep parents involved through special monthly traditions. We've cherished the "Mommy dates," "Daddy dates," and "Grandparent dates" for holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and even Rodeo Day. These events make us feel like active participants in our children's school life. Global Awareness & Public Speaking: We love how the curriculum embraces and celebrates diverse cultures. My oldest would come home eager to share the traditions of Diwali or the Lunar New Year. A true highlight was the kindergarten graduation, where every child gave a speech about a particular country they had studied. It was incredible to see that level of confidence and global knowledge at such a young age. Enrichment & On-Site Services: Beyond the classroom, they offer a fantastic range of activities such as Soccer Shots, yoga, dance, Spanish, cooking classes, and more. It is also incredibly convenient and supportive that they allow on-site speech therapy for children who need that extra bit of help. We feel very fortunate to be part of this school. If you're looking for a caring, expert-led, close-knit community for your children, we highly recommend West Montessori!

Simply stated, we HIGHLY recommend JOY. Ms. Cher, Mr. Mel, and the caring staff have created a special environment for children. As a parent, your primary consideration is safety, and that was something we never worried about. But the thing we'll remember most about JOY is the smile on the kids' faces everyday as we picked them up, and the noticeable growth in their little souls. The 5-yo has learned about friendship, working with others, and has even learned to read at JOY. I'm biased to think she's a bit ahead of the curve, but it's amazing how many of the kids at JOY are that way. It's not enough for the people at JOY to just look after these kids, they are driven to see them grow. That's what makes this place special. For parents out there in the Jersey Village / Cyfair area, I can't be more confident in saying that at JOY your child will be cared for, helped, and loved.

His teacher is so well loved by the kids - how she copes with them all is beyond me. Meals are cooked on the premises and it's always healthy, no junk food here. Splash day once a week during summer which the kids love and Friday afternoon is movie time and also the only day they can take one toy to school. Owners are excellent and always on site and always available if you need to chat with them. So all in all an excellent place - very safe and also very good teaching for your kids.

The facility has a roach problem that has been ongoing for quite some time, and instead of taking real action to fix it, they leave it there. That's very unprofessional and unfair and it shows that the issues aren't being taken seriously. Cleanliness should be a top priority in a daycare, especially when young children are involved, but it's clearly not here. The classrooms and common areas are not kept up to proper standards. On top of that, the student behavior and supervision are also a concern. The kids are often roughhousing, and while I understand that children play and things happen, it's becoming a regular issue. Parents shouldn't have to find out from their own kids that they've been hit or hurt by another child. Communication between the staff, director, and parents is extremely poor and that's unacceptable when it comes to the safety and well-being of children. This daycare already has a low rating for a reason, and unfortunately, nothing seems to be improving. I really hope management takes responsibility, fixes these issues, and starts putting the children first. Until then, I would strongly suggest that parents look elsewhere for care.
