I would have kept him in but it wasn't possible to afford it without me working. My experience with the children's courtyard was for my son who started this facility at 14 months so he went into the toddler room. My family had moved from out of town from a fantastic facility so naturally I was nervous for him changing. Kristin Fortin the director is phenomenal. She is very friendly and good with children. She will personally call you about any accidents that occur and is very involved and knows child by name. My son was in Courtneay and Melissa's room and they are absolutely wonderful. I love both of them so much. He really came out of his shell in their room. Those girls are amazing and deserve a raise. (Hint hint Kristin!) Susan and Aubrey are also part of the toddler rooms and sometimes in the afternoon he would be in their room and they're wonderful. The pay is comparable to other facilities in the concord area. We paid 269/week for the toddler room. He was on a schedule. They provided a morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. The kids would have outside play (weather permitting) on their appropriate playgrounds. There are separated play areas for younger and older children. There was always a "day" to wear a certain theme of clothing and they participated in holiday parties and mothers/fathers day recognition breakfasts. There is also an indoor gym for play if weather was not appropriate for outside play. We did sign incident reports for an occasional bite by another child, or bump of the head but those weren't very often and at age 2..what do you expect... I could continue going on but if you're looking for childcare for a toddler at age 2 (that's all I can speak on in regards to teachers) then go with CCY. You won't regret it. There is also an interactive app that you download to see mealtime/amount of meal eaten, diaper changes, and you can also message the teachers they the app. The facility does not have cameras in the rooms that you have access to unless you're standing I'm the facility lobby. I love this place and the teachers and director for the 2s are exceptional. Thank you for all you've taught my child. Great experience.

My 3-year-old attended this daycare for a few months, and unfortunately, our experience was very…read moredisappointing. During the time he was there, I didn't see much educational growth or development. I also found the facility to be lacking in cleanliness on multiple occasions, which was concerning for a childcare environment. The final straw came when my son came home and told me that one of his teachers had squeezed his hand hard enough to hurt him. The next day, I went to the daycare to report the incident. I was told they would review the camera footage and call me back to discuss what happened. I never received a call. I returned the following day for an update and was told they hadn't contacted me because they thought someone else in the office had. The lack of communication and urgency regarding a report involving a child's safety was extremely concerning. I was never given a clear explanation of what happened or even told which teacher was involved. As a parent, that experience was upsetting and left me with very little confidence in the daycare's ability to handle serious concerns appropriately. I also found some staff members to be unapproachable and unhelpful throughout our time there, and they often gave the impression that they did not enjoy being there. The only positive aspect was the convenience of the location in our neighborhood. Otherwise, based on my personal experience, I would encourage parents to carefully consider other childcare options if communication, cleanliness, accountability, and their child's well-being are priorities.

He has always been a very shy kid, and school experience was challenging for him. All the school staff were extremely attentive and helpful during his transition period. His first teacher, Ms Megan, always hugged him when he came and spoke in soft voice to make him feel comfortable. I was amazed how my son changed in the school. I couldn't believe my eyes when after a couple of months I saw him running from the car to go to school! It's also impressive to see all creative and development activities they do. My son learned all his letters and numbers, he learned shapes and colors even before going to the next age group. Most importantly, he learned to love making art and create! Ms Crystal and Ms K from his next age group are incredible, they both know each child very well and have individual approach to each of them. We had to leave the school after moving to another state, and now I have a very challenging task to find another place with such a warm and loving atmosphere and great teachers, like in Goddard School in Concord.
