We love this school. My son enjoys all the activities at Goddard school, even writing and mathematics that he had struggled with in the past . The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. The school is very clean and the decorations on the walls and doors inside the school are very lovely. The directors and teachers always say hello to all parents and children with happy smiles. This is the biggest reason that I decided to move my son to Goddard school from his previous school. They welcome all children and parents. Actually, I had a problem with the previous school because the teachers kept saying that my son's behavior was a problem. I talked to the pediatrician and therapist, but they didn't find any issue with my son. Finding that the teachers only complained how my son was not behaving well and that they were not trying to work with my son was very disappointing. Thus, we had to leave the previous school. However, the issue that the old teachers called my son's problem was gone only after 2 days he met Goddard's teachers. Goddard teachers understand my son's mind and know what he needs/wants. They say that he has been doing well and getting better. My son is very happy to go to school now. Goddard teachers take care of each child with details and they even remember what clothes and stuff belong to whom, so my son never lost his stuff at school. He lost his stuff and clothes several times from his old school. It looks like just a small thing, but it is not. I can feel how Goddard teachers pay attention to all kids. read more

My daughter has only been in this daycare for a little over 6 months, but the teachers and staff there are awesome. My daughter is always greeted with a smile and she loves the staff there. They give you daily reports and pictures of your child and it is all done electronically. It is slightly inconsistent as to when you'll get a picture of your kid, sometimes you'll get nothing during the day, sometimes you'll get 3, but it's always nice to get a picture to see what they're up to during the day. In fact, my wife looks forward to getting a picture during the work day. On the daily report, they give you a list of things they did during the day so you know what your kid's day was like. they also list out the meals that they had and bathroom type stuff. My daughter is an infant still, so we need that info! As for cost, My wife and I went to Bright Horizons, Kinder Care, Creme de la Creme, a Montessori and Tutor Time before we settled on Goddard. Goddard's price was the lowest out of all of them. We were quite impressed with the facility and their school curriculum and we decided that this was the best value for our daughter. Probably the biggest problem we have with Goddard is that it felt like there was a revolving door of teachers in my daughter's classroom. They went through a bad period where 2 of the 3 teachers had left the school, for different reasons, and none of which was because they didn't like working there. It was quite a few months before they were able to fully fill the 2 empty positions. But during this time a lot of other teachers in the school would fill in and it felt like someone different was in the classroom everyday. I didn't even know the name of the person taking care of my daughter at times. However, regardless of who it was though, they were always very nice to me and my daughter and seemed to be very competent at doing their job. So while I wished there were some regularity with the teachers, it always seemed like she was in good hands. My daughter can be shy with strangers at times, but with all of the teachers at this school, she would always smile and hold out her arms to them to be held. So I know she knows them and at the very least likes them. Overall, Goddard is a great place to send your child to daycare. It's a great environment with wonderful people taking care of your child. read more

Money Money Money! That is what they all want. My son used to go there when he was infant. We picked this place purely for the convenience and I thought they are a lot better that who they were. They were constantly counting kids to minimize the teacher counts. I went pick up my son, they had his move to next classroom where he knows nobody. He was sitting at the corner of the room crying. There were two teachers chatting in the same room. I asked the teacher "You just let the kids cry like this?" one teacher answered 'I just walk in.... while other teacher looked other way and ignored. Other time, my son was moved to two classes up with 30 other kids in the room. It was a chaos. Now I remember even for the Halloween few of the "Directors" were wearing very provocative costumes with showing their boobs halfway. am not talk bigger this at all. Another incident, was that they charge "Summer camp Fee" in January or February. I've told them my son will not be attending in Summer and transferring elsewhere, so not to charge the summer fee. They of course charge it to our credit card. I am so glad that my son does not go there anymore. Very unfortunate that there are daycare this bad exist. read more

The Goddard School in Schaumburg is a wonderful place to consider for daycare. Going back to work and finding childcare for my 3m old son was incredibly difficult. Having the wonderful people at Goddard to care for my son really eased the anxiety in being away from him. The variety of activities and attention he receives every day is outstanding; he enjoys being there too. It takes very special people to be able to provide the attention, love and care young children need. I am impressed with everything Goddard does for their children and parents combined. read more

My son has been at the Goddard School since July 2015 and it was the best decision we could've made! I love the teachers and staff; they're so nice and nurturing. They potty-trained my son in literally 3 weeks! We get emails with pictures and updates on our son's daily activities. Our daughter was in Schaumburg Goddard for about 20 months, she enjoyed it very much, came home always happy. Loved her teachers very much. The daily email report was helpful to know the classroom activities and lunch details. She was in butterfly, duck, frog and then sunflower rooms. The classrooms were bright and nice layout. Having a background in Early Childhood Education, I was certain no place would live up to my expectations when it came to my own child. I was so wrong. The Goddard School in Schaumburg is an amazing place. My son attended for 3 years (from 6 months old to 3 and a half) and in that time his teachers and the staff became his family... OUR family. My son looked forward to going there every day, and some days wouldn't want to leave when it was time to go. I get so many comments from friends, family, and even strangers about how smart and polite my son is, and I know a large part of that is due to his experiences at Goddard. He loves seeing his friends, he loves his play time, but he is also able to learn in a way that he really enjoys and is excited to talk about when he gets home. I recommend the Goddard School in Schaumburg to anyone looking for quality care for their children... Whether it's full time care or just a few days a week for preschool and/or socialization you are looking for - we've done both, and I can't say enough amazing things about this place! read more
