First and foremost, the lack of communication from staff members was incredibly frustrating. Important updates regarding my child's progress or any incidents at school were nonexistent. There was no way to know what the children were doing all day at this daycare. They would not come home with any projects, homework, not even a piece of artwork in the month and a half we were there. Furthermore, the curriculum seemed outdated and uninspired. My child showed little enthusiasm for the activities provided, suggesting a lack of engagement and stimulation. It's disheartening to witness such a lackluster approach to early childhood education. Aside from the aspects of the education and staff, my child consistently had unusual episodes of accidents and vomiting that did not seem to be linked to any infection or illness. On the most upsetting occasion, during lunch time, my daughter had told a staff member that she needed to use the restroom and was told that she has to wait. She ended up going number two in her pants in the lunch room. She is 4 years old and has never had an accident as such since being potty trained at 2. She consistently told me that they would tell her she has to wait until after lunch to use the restroom. When I spoke to the owner, she was inconsistent with her story about the incident. Originally telling me that she never told anyone she had to use the restroom, then she speaks very quietly and they will have to work with her to speak louder, and finally that the teacher did come up to her and asked her if she had to go number one or number two and she said number one. As if whether she had to pee or poop would make any of this better. Fast forward one week and during lunch the staff member told her to finish her food, but she did not like it. She ended up throwing up instantly as I put her in my car after school and in tears telling me she didn't like the food she was told to finish. All of this could be over looked if I didn't reach out to SEVERAL other families in Livingston that had similar experiences and had left this day care as well. So far I have yet to meet someone who has something good to say about this day care. These are just a few of my experiences at this facility, which I have plenty more of. The owner also has a ridiculous policy to notify them one month in advance if you decide to leave or you lose your deposit. So basically, my child is miserable there and I have to force them to continue to go for one more month or we lose our deposit. Obviously I care for my child far too much to put her through any more of this. I was so upset over this entire experience I did not even bother to return to pick up my children's belongings leaving behind some clothing and slippers for 2 children. Just stay away, there are plenty of lovely and wonderful daycares, including Russian based day cares, around our areas to choose from. This place is very cold and not a pleasant experience for any child or parent.

The teachers take great care to ensure all the kids are safe and having fun. They provide nutritious meals like fish, kasha, and soups, giving me peace of mind, especially since my son gives me a hard time at home. The daycare doesn't have surveillance cameras for parents who want to watch their kids 24/7, which does wonders for your mental health as a parent.

Unfortunately I had a tuition related matter to discuss in which the Center Director believed deserved to be escalated to her boss (Maura) and what a horrible experience that was. Before even meeting Maura had made on 2 separate occasions the same comment stating "I don't know what she expects to happen. I am going to help her" and unfortunately was not very mindful of her surroundings when making the comment. How sad and disappointing to hear that an individual who has never met you and knows nothing about you AND works for Bright Horizons FAMILY SOLUTIONS already had no intention of giving you a solution. Nonetheless, I gave her the benefit of the doubt , thanked her for meeting with me and explained the situation. Unfortunately, as expected Maura was of no help.Instead, she presented a very condescending attitude, smirked after every word/point I tried to make, constantly spoke over me and eventually told me that effective Monday (this conversation was yesterday, Thursday 01/23) my daughter would no longer be allowed in the center if tuition was not paid in full KNOWING that the meeting was about the error that someone on her team made with my tuition. I understand business is business and that just like all of us who have our children in child care, she has a job to follow. Making me waste my time meeting with her knowing she was not going to do anything to help me (keeping in mind she had already said this) , smirking and giggling when it was very evident that I was extremely upset about the situation , dismissing everything I had to say and taking 0 accountability as to how this has been going on for 3 months and she has once again done NOTHING to even try to help me hence why this is the first time I spoke to this individual in the 3 months this has been occurring is absolutely not part of the job she is expected to follow. I will never tell you to not bring your children here instead I would encourage it because again, the center, the staff, the love and care is amazing and truly what made me so sad to have to wake my child up from her nap to take her away from the place that she was so happy and thriving in all because Maura instead of saying "let's come up with a solution" or "let me try to see what I can do to help you" told me my child could not be at the center. However, I will say if you ever have an issue that for whatever reason cannot be solved through the center leadership team, let Maura be the last person you speak to. My experience with Bright Horizons has always been exceptional but it really upset me to see that someone like this represents a company that is so faithful to finding solutions for families.

I believe they stayed open the entire time. We were so blown away with how well the school was sanitized daily. It felt like the right place to enroll my son as an infant. Comparing our experience with two daycares my daughter attended.. at Goddard my children are rarely sick or sent home. Like both my kids missed no more than 3 days in 3 years. Goddard really values keeping kids healthy and safe. I enrolled my son around 10 months old and it was a great transition. The teachers in the infant room were so pleasant and truly are like family. They were very accommodating with special requests about milk and nap time. Speaking of communication, I give the admin staff 5 stars with how well they run the front office. They have exceptional follow up and communication-daily reminders, photos, reports and weekly newsletters. I also appreciate the diversity of the staff and families. As a mom of color, I really love that. There have been many special events to bring the community together. My favorite events have been Halloween parade, the carnival, the "prom" for graduating class and Mother's Day/Father's Day appreciation. So much thought goes into all these celebrations and it's special. Once older, my kids were constantly entertained with art, yoga, music, water play, so many fun things. Always tired from a fun day. While the tuition may not be the cheapest -- you get what you pay for. It's well worth it for the safety, health and well being of our children. I highly recommend!

I instructed the American Heart Association's Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED for Children & Infants course. The entire Cradles to Crayons team was completely engaged and eager to learn the neccessary skills I was teaching. They paid close attention to all of my instructions throughout the course and it really was a pleasure to work with them. I train almost every day of the week and it was obvious that the staff at Cradles to Crayons wanted to learn how to save a life. Thank you to Doreen & the Cradles to Crayons staff for being such wonderful students. I'm looking forward to coming back in 2 years for your recertification.

My daughter went there after her preschool which she attended because of a hearing impairment. They met the bus every afternoon and did not have to. They are caring and truly keep my kids happy. My 4 year old son went through a rough stage last in the fall where he did not want to leave us. The teachers went out of there way to make him feel extra special every morning to get through this rough patch. Maria is fantastic and Karen, Lindsey and Kelly are FABULOUS teachers who truly care about the kids.

We work long hours so he's there all day (2nd kid in last one picked up), but he's very happy. The teachers are all very kind, the school is very clean, and there's lots of learning and stimulation. They also have the best ratio of any daycare, and the teachers in his room are warm, happy, and patient women. All the teachers in general smile and seem to enjoy their jobs. The school is very well run, and the owner Jeff is always there and knows all the kids and families well. There's a big outdoor play area and playgrounds, a gym area with a ballpit our son loves, a library with tons of books, and it's a nice modern building. They do lots of fun learning activities with the kids like hatching baby chicks, butterflies, zumba, yoga, and music classes.
