I have been trying for over a month to get an update on my car accident case from September 2024, with almost no response to my calls, emails, voicemails, or portal messages. My case has been in negotiation since last year, yet I've seen little to no effort or communication from the firm. I don't feel that their value is what they advertise and claim they support and cover their clients. Mostly its months in my case years of no feasible income or financial diligence. I expect basic communication and updates from my legal representation. I am still hoping for a resolution and urge the firm to contact me immediately to discuss the status of my case.

Almost everything is handled by non-lawyer employees. Insurance companies know that, they make way-low offers, which are almost always taken. Two friends were injured in a classic wreck, they had the green light, middle of the intersection, a driver on his phone plowed through, hitting the Right-Side Door. Car video caught it all. One of the injuries was unusual, the passenger's hearing was dramatically affected. I called a couple retired PI lawyers I respected, described the case; after two of them suggested Marc Lenahan, I quit and called Mark. He has a reputation in the legal community of taking cases with unique injuries and pursing them vigorously. The clients were amazed: he called and talked with them for over an hour, explained how he practiced, their options to choose other counsel, talked about their damages, "If you do want to hire me, here's my address, call and make an appointment." The Insurance Company Adjuster made offers that were insulting, a couple thousand dollars, take it or leave it. Marc called, "We can reject it, file suit, that will likely get the attention of somebody above the Adjuster." Marc did. And, a couple months later called to say he'd gotten 100% of the Policy Limits. On both claims! Many PI lawyers only take "major" cases that may net them beaucoup bucks. This wasn't "major", just two good people whose lives were changed forever by a careless driver. Mark handled it the same way he would a million-dollar case. Dallas Personal Injury lawyers know about each other. I've never practiced PI, those I know and trust sent me to Marc. And he got my friends every cent available. He stayed in contact with them, kept them fully aware, gave them a complete accounting of how their payments were computed. Ethics are a major part in law practice. From what I saw, Marc's are of the highest.

Have been waiting for over a year after paying several thousand in cash with no proper invoice for the lawyer to work on a very simple case and it has still to be resolved. I've been dodged in text and phone calls with no end in sight. A year since the last update and almost two years since I paid him to help with the case to begin with. Unclear whether this will ever get solved or if my money was just taken unjustly by this lawyer. Currently see documentation online that there is a probation ongoing and charge against him from the state board of Texas for lawyers. Very concerning. If you want your case taken seriously I do not recommend using this man. He has dodged texts and calls and his office has never connected me to him either. Scam like behavior. Still no response since Oct. 16, 2024 then last hear from was Wednesday Oct 22, 2025 after an initial reach out after waiting a year for any response. Still no response as of Nov. 21, 2025. As of December 2 no response. I assume my money has been taken as there has been no services provided. Still July 2026 no response, I will be taking this lawyer to claims court for stealing my money. It looks like he has been disbarred or probated from the state of Texas. UPDATE: as of July 14, 2026, more than two years after original payment and hiring, Marc has been formally terminated from representing me and I have filed my grievance with the state bar. He has been requested to refund every cent I spent for representation as there was never any work done on the case he was paid to take care of. After two years not a single thing moved forward and he only responded twice to my text messages, calls, emails, reviews, and so on. Do not trust this man, he will steal your money and run.
