The bar itself on the inside is really long, so finding a spot was easy to order a drink. We ordered a couple of topo Chico seltzers and a modelo, and the bill came out to $19 for all 3. Most of their signature cocktails ranged from $10-12 , so affordable by today's standards. When we first arrived, we were able to snag a spot in their parking lot, which is dead ends at the end of the road, with no way of turning around. Since it was a busy night, all the spots were full, and needed to reverse all the way out. A little nerve racking but we made it through. Overall, pretty cool to see a free live show and band. No pho. I waited easily 20 to 30 minutes -- and if anything, that's a conservative estimate. Anyone who's ever been to a Vietnamese restaurant knows that pho is almost always one of the first things to hit the table. It's broth that's kept hot and ready. There's no reason it should lag behind a rice plate or take half an hour to arrive. What made it worse was the total lack of communication from our server. Not once did she come by to acknowledge the delay, offer an explanation, or even check in to let me know my food was on its way. I shouldn't have to flag someone down to ask where my meal is. A simple "I'm so sorry, your pho is coming right out" goes a long way -- that's just basic hospitality. Our server was a young woman who, frankly, seemed either undertrained or indifferent to the experience of her tables. I don't say that to be harsh -- I say it because it's fixable. Someone in management needs to invest in proper hospitality training, because attentiveness and communication are non-negotiable in the restaurant industry. I've dined at hundreds of restaurants over the years, from casual spots to fine dining, and the standard of keeping your guests informed is universal. I eventually left without ever receiving my pho. My wife finished her meal, we paid, and we walked out -- with me having eaten nothing but appetizers. That's simply unacceptable. I hope the management reads this and takes it seriously. The food concept is solid, but the service needs serious attention before I'd ever consider returning.

I think this place is chill. They need to do better with accomodating larger parties in both a timely manner and effectively ensuring food is correct, hot and cooked to perfection. I think they probably do best with a table of 4 or 5 ppl. Lastly, it was super hot in here. Yes there are ceiling fans. However, it seems that they have no central air whatsoever. That's ridiculous. Oh BTW.. no waiter ever came back to our table to ask if we wanted to order anything more. They also did not come over to ask if the food was good either. Our finshed plates say in front of us from the time we got it until almost 11pm. I would say that my table received food by 8:30ish.

I also ordered the impossible taquitos which came with guac, sour cream, and salsa on top. The presentation was beautiful and the food came out fast but the taste was a bit weird, it wasn't bad but it just tasted like burger meat in a taquito. I really appreciate that they offered a meat alternative but wish it tasted better, like maybe use potatoes instead of fake meat, or use fake chorizo over a burger seasoning. It would also be nice if there was a vegan version not just a vegetarian version. Despite my critiques of the food, I have no critiques for the service and atmosphere! My server was phenomenal and attentive and checked in often! I had a great experience and look forward to coming back but would definitely be more eager to come back if they updated with more vegan options!
