This was my first visit to Town Tavern, and it definitely didn't disappoint. It's a great spot to grab a beer or cocktail with friends on a Saturday afternoon and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. They played a really good selection of music which added to the welcoming vibe. For food, we shared the chicharrones, fried Brussel sprouts, and the steak nachos were easily my favorite dish of the day. Everything was flavorful and perfect for sharing. I was especially happy to see local Alameda breweries represented on tap. I enjoyed the IPA from Faction and the pale ale from Almanac. What really made the visit memorable was the owner, Stan. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and added a personal touch to the experience. Between the great food, local beer selection, music, and outstanding hospitality, Town Tavern is definitely worth another visit.

If you're looking for that perfect neighborhood bar vibe where the drinks are solid, the food actually hits, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay longer than planned--Town Tavern is it. The staff here deserves a shoutout: Heather was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being over the top. You can tell they care about the regulars and first-timers alike. Drinks are strong and well-made (no stingy pours), and the food punches way above what you'd expect from a tavern--comfort classics done right. Great spot to catch a game, meet up with friends, or just unwind after a long day. It's got that laid-back Alameda charm where everyone feels like they belong, whether you're popping in for one drink or settling in for the night. You gotta try the steak nachos, the steaks are super tender!

The Town Tavern is a great bar with cool vibes and excellent cocktails and yummy bar bites. They switch out their food quite a bit and so it's fun to try different things on the menu. Their brussels sprouts are so good grilled to perfection and very delicious! They somehow go great with their french fries. The bartenders are friendly and make some exquisite cocktails and they have sports playing on the TVs above the bar and they also have charging stations underneath the bar if you need to get work done or charge your phone. I have noticed a lot of people working at the bar with their laptops open while enjoying libations. My experience was great so look forward to coming back to this cool tavern.

Good times with old friends enjoying this Tuesday night old-fashioned. Town Tavern in Alameda is a gem! From the moment you walk in, you feel the inviting atmosphere and great energy. The bar selection is top-notch, with an impressive variety of quality spirits and creative cocktails. A special shoutout to the host bartending! His service was phenomenal! He was not only incredibly friendly and attentive but also whipped up some of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. You can tell he knows his craft and truly care about making your experience memorable. Whether you're there for a classic drink or something unique, you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be back for more great vibes, stellar drinks, and amazing service!

THE BEST Old Fashions in East Bay and hands down my favorite bar in Alameda!!! All of their cocktails are wonderful but the "Town Tavern Old Fashion" is my go to drink! This bar has a great vibe and seems always busy even on weekdays! They also have great IPAs on tap (Alamanac, Ghost Town, Faction). Their Loaded Tots and Brussel sprouts are also delicious! They always have fantastic service and staff is always friendly and attentive! Special shout out to Stan and Ryan for making every evening at Town Tavern lively, fun, and memorable!!! :)

I remember old tiki bars back in the day in the 50s when I first remembered hearing about him and the 60s when they were still popular. But as time went on and people change, they kind of disappeared, but this one popped up. And I'm so glad it did because it brought back fond memories of what it used to be. When you walk into the place, it's unlike anybody you're gonna walk into there are one dollar bill stuck to every square inch of the ceiling. Smoking is only allowed outside, so the room was pretty clear because as you walk in it is small, but there's plenty of room at the bar and there are a couple little hutches that you can sit in as well as an area around the corner, but the big surprise is outside. When we walked outside, there was like a 10 foot tiki head out there and it was a flash throwback to the old days. It was so much fun to see. The bar serves drinks that are long forgotten and most bars, and they served them with flair. Everybody from the minute I walked in the front door was awesome. They were smiling, attentive, helpful, and making sure that you got exactly what you wanted and the perfect experience. I even had a moment to talk to the owner and tell him how impressed I was by the staff and the fun that the place brought. I would say I will absolutely be glad to return to this place anytime. The quality that drinks is absolutely five star. The flavors were spot on. And the throwback atmosphere was perfect. I strongly recommended for anybody that wants to go out for an evening of fun and frolic. When they close the back where the outdoor seating is a little bit earlier than the regular bar hours it does get a bit crowded on the inside because so many people are there that you didn't see originally. But that didn't change it. We still had maximum fun.

The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart--warm, lively, and welcoming without ever feeling overwhelming. Whether you're coming in for a casual meal or meeting up with friends and family, it just has that easy, feel-good energy that makes you want to stay awhile. It strikes that rare balance where adults can enjoy the experience, and families feel completely comfortable. Overall, Park Station delivers more than just a meal--it's an experience. I was asked if I wanted tajin on the rim (absolutely), which was a nice touch to the drink. I would get this again - Lots of outdoor and indoor seating - Good for small and large groups - Good for families (saw a lot of kids running around both times) - Good for pets (saw lots of dogs - There are fire pits as well - I heard about some complaints regarding the music, but I didn't find it to be any issue. As someone who is sensitive to loud noise and doesn't like super loud music, I quite liked the live music. It wasn't blasting in our ears and I could still hear my group talking. If you're hungry, Southie is located on the premises for ordering. Miscellaneous: - Parking is available via street parking - Definitely gets busy on the weekends around noon (especially with nice weather) - Don't wear clothes that can't get any dirt on them as the ground outside is dirt
