It was a very difficult, even painful thing to do, but the staff was very kind, patient, and sensitive to my situation. I very much appreciated the good service and the sensitivity they showed. The owner went out of his way to give me as much as he could for the jewelry I had to sell, and was even concerned about my situation and asked me questions about it. (which was very kind of him.) I had no intention of discussing my situation. I was just going to sell what I needed to sell and go, but it just came out, and again they were all very helpful and kind about it. I grew up in the area, and myself, my wife, and other family members have done business with this store for decades one way or another. They are reputable and do their best to serve the community and I appreciate that. So once again, I say thank you to the staff. I used to frequent The Gold Store many years ago My mother actually worked there so so long ago, so I tried to stay loyal to them My fiancé did not, but back in 2014 I did have them size the ring. They did as expected a perfect job. Then, in 2017 or 18 I had them make me a ring with my amethyst stone, again beautiful. BUT I really wanted them to resize my wedding ring, but will not because I went in to see if they would buy my blue topaz halo ring. Frist thr young girl tells me they dont buy colored stones, that's odd. Next, she looks at it and says it is not real anyway, so not to bother her and then call in some other guy and say she to him wants to sell this but it is not real. She proceeded to rub it on the paper or stone, and he then does the same thing. Then they test the stone All tests are coming up real I said all you needed was the appraisal and handed to her. They looked at it, seeing the appraisal value, and that is was real, and their tests proved it was Not at all apologizing for saying to me i was presenting to them a fake ring to try to sell Then they proceeded to weigh the ring minus the topaz and presented me with a $34.00 offer for the metal We all know that if I sold that ring to them. They would have sold that for that appraised value or more, sure not $34.00 or for just the metal price for that day. Not to mention the bit of attitude well really not attitude but more of a snarkyness throughout the process and making me feel like I was trying to scam them with the fake ring still after they proved it was a real stone and real silver So, I have ended my loyalty to them! read more

I was making into a middle finger ring. They were so kind and very communicative. I was nervous about the process and keeping to my rings original design style by a high end designer.
