Where do I begin?! Armando Lozano is a GEM of a human being. I did my due diligence researching…read morenatural diamonds for the better part of a year and a half before really committing to getting one. I decided to contact Armando seeing he has GIA credentials (anyone who has done their research knows this is the true standard of diamond certification). I called Armando out of the blue and he graciously took my call, and I gave him the specs of what I was looking for (while he was driving down to the jewelry district no less), and he arranged to meet with me two days later on a Sunday afternoon for over 3 hours. He tastefully presented me with 5 different diamonds he was able to obtain from the wholesalers, and let me decide what I liked for myself before even showing me the price. He did not upsell me on the most expensive one, which was classy and appreciated. The best part after seeing the prices...he was not overcharging. I ended up going with a natural 2 carat round diamond (D color, VVS2), which was too good to pass up. The price was well within reason compared to even the best of online retailers. Armando met with me several times and kept in constant communication about the design, including the welder who put the diamond together. My fiancée and I are still in shock how beautiful the diamond turned out. I am blessed to have Armando make this such an easy, yet very personalized experience. I am so grateful to have found Armando, who is genuinely a good human being who cares about people and the bespoke experience of choosing a diamond. I look forward to pairing the engagement ring with a wedding band. I am going to even bring my Tag Heuer in for much needed maintenance (he does it all!).
