Oh I need to come back (w/o my husband in tow) so I can really look and take my time here. Such a cute shop, reminded me of when I was in the UK in North London. Upon chatting with the owner I found she's well travelled and has family in Europe too. Her shop has a lovely vibe and beautiful things that are different, not that is in every corner store. I met the owners at A Current Affair vintage show in February before the shelter in place order. Unfortunately I haven't been able to visit their SF location, but they were helpful and friendly at the show. I ended up leaving with a pair of these air plant earrings. They also gave me a lil scented candle to go with my purchase. I love these earrings and some days I'll wear them to wfh even though nobody sees me. Morgan is a vibrant jewel and very welcoming. I was on my way home from the De Young Museum reopening and somehow went into The Golden Hour. Perhaps it was the wonderful vintage Coach bag in the window or Morgan's welcoming smile. I went in and had so much fun. The Golden Hour is hands down the best neighborhood gem in San Francisco to pick up the most fashion forward vintage threads. A few of my fashionista friends told me to check out this new spot to find a 80's style leather jacket to replace the one I loved and lost after a heavy night of boozing. My experience from the moment I saw the shop was inviting, enticing, and exactly what I wanted. The window display had beautiful retro fits staged that made me want to tear them off the mannequins, and gorgeous rustic style cowboy boots that had me crossing my fingers they were my size! When I walked in, I was greeted by a super upbeat and enthusiastic woman named Morgan who was eager but NOT pushy to help me find exactly what I wanted. I initially intended on doing a quick trip in, picking out a jacket and heading out. The selection is so eclectic it is hard to stay focused on what you initially came in for. But luckily I had Morgan to be my personal stylist and to keep me focused. I told her what I was looking for and she took the time to show me her selection, ask me questions about the style I was going for, ensure the fit was right for my comfort, figure, and intended look. I felt that she was being honest in her advisements (if something didn't compliment me, she told me and explained why) and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything-- which is a problem I usually have when someone invests one on one service like she did. So in the end I got an AMAZING jacket that I have gotten so many compliments on, that I have decided it is not allowed to go out on any boozing trips ;) Although the boots I was in love with were too small, I asked Morgan to keep an eye out for another pair similar to the ones in the window-- and she followed up with me about two weeks later via phone and BAM!-- I got a pair that were even more my style than those in the window!!! A lovely vintage boutique I stumbled upon while taking a walk. I just so happened to bump into their summer clearance sale, everything on certain racks for $10.00. I found two beautiful dresses that were absolute steals at $10.00! I would probably not buy anything for regular prices ($50 for a jacket, over $60 for a dress), but I do love the selection and curation here. Everything is so on trend and wearable. I had the rudest service from some young lady on Sunday that obviously needed customer service training and training on vintage. I asked about several designers which she was bewildered and had no knowledge of what I was speaking about; to make matters worse she followed me around the very small store like I was going to steal something which was extremely offensive. After negotiating a purchase I finally had enough. The quality of the items where ok but not enough for me to recommend nor to shop there again. read more

Everything here is in amazing condition and lots of variety from jewelry and shoes to coats. I have picked up a few awesome pieces here! The owners are around a lot of the time ( I got this great pic of Morgan) and they are friendly, fun and most helpful. If your looking for something specific don't hesitate to ask them, they seem to have a ton of stuff upstairs. I absolutely love coming to this store. So cute and quaint the pieces that they offer are one of a kind. I loved learning the back story of the owners of the store, one being a interior decorator and the other being a costume designer in LA. I know the pieces are hand picked with style and care. I recently purchased a wonderful pair of cowboy boots that I found out were worn on a famous television show by a celebrity!!!! Stumbled into this vintage store by accident and obviously it was fate! The selection here is divine, so beautifully curated. There are TONS of wearable pieces in this store and every piece has a story! The shop owners are so friendly, helpful and knowledgable and you can tell they have great taste, know about the fashion world and love what they do. On top of that, everything is so affordable.
