I worked with Raymond and you can tell he really knows his stuff. I've been to other pro shops that do the minimum, but Raymond takes the time to ask you questions about your game, how you throw, any physical limitations or other factors that will help him determine how to drill your ball. After a few days when my stuff was ready, I had the chance to throw the ball and they felt really good. Comfortable in my hand and just the perfect fit. I'm 36 and the last time I bowled league I was 16. I've been bowling in leagues for the past 7 months and my current league average is a 195. I didn't think I'd get to a 195 after 20 years away from the game. So I give a lot of credit to Raymond for his knowledge and getting me set up correctly. Current high game since getting back into bowling is 261. They also have a little bit of everything, shoes, shamy pads, bags, apparel, thumb tape, etc. just a heads up, don't expect a pristine pro shop, the spot is small, there are bowling balls and equipment everywhere. But to me that's the sign of great pro shop. 10/10 would recommend coming here.

They have a lot of merchandise and they can special order for you. The price is very reasonable and he even refused my tip. It was a bit far from San Francisco , but it was worth the extra miles.

I'm writing this review to shout out Froy in the bike department!!! He is the MVP! My derailleur was whack and he fixed it so quickly. It gets quite busy at the bike department (esp in the summer with kids wanting to get out with new bikes!). Froy also took the time to teach me the mechanics of the bike that I'll never forget since I want to try to maintain my bike myself. I highly recommend becoming a REI member if you aren't already one! Amazing perks such as discounts all the time and you get a return warranty up to 1 year instead of the 90 days. I also like their credit card which gives you 5% back! If you already know you're a regular customer for REI, why not! You'll also get higher cash back on full priced items too. Also just FYI they do not supply bags at check out! So bring your own bag to haul away your purchases!

Telling us she strongly recommends we sign up without knowing what our needs are. As soon as we were able to get a word in to politely decline, her energy shifted from pushy to straight up cold. As if it was personal. Here's the thing - my family and I shop at REI very seldomly. Hence why we have no use for a paid membership. And now after the last two experiences, we will never set foot in an REI store ever again.

No complaints of the Target either. Just a weird setup. Everything is very spread out. No cashiers. That seems to be the norm these days. Now the parking lot is the problem. It's a "human petting zoo" of sewer rats who are coughing up a load while they hang out there. There has to be somewhere else more exciting the children can go so customers can get in & out of their cars without that element!

Overall the shopping experience is great. Parking easy. Stores and parking lot well lit. Lots of food options for between shopping. My favorite place is the Armadillo Willy spot. A particularly comfortable location with both indoor and outdoor seating. The average person might like the two chain restaurants instead. Cost Plus. Walk in because for your love of imported food items and grab a few alcohols just because you can. Found some Dr Oetker food products and imported candy from Japan. Endless novelty items from Bob Ross calendars to Bob Ross canned drinks. Anybody would love to fin Bob Ross in their stocking on Christmas day. Some more stores like Wine and More and Marshalls and Ross are present. There is probably something for everybody here.

John immediately jumped to my aid when I walked in, and helped answer all my questions thoughtfully and compassionately. He took all the time I needed to try out different options and guide me through the pros and cons. As a bonus, my girlfriend was with me at the time, and she was so impressed with the service that she asked John for assistance when I was done. He helped identify what options could help and got her set up with some custom insoles. We both left feeling very well taken care of and have been enjoying the difference we already notice in our day-to-day workout routines. Big thanks to John -- we highly recommend asking for him if you're in need of assistance at this Road Runner!

I've been in there many times where I just stand and wait and no one will help me. Definitely not my favorite location. Not only that, but now all of their calls go directly to a call center in Mexico. You cannot call the store direct to put something on hold. It's really frustrating and I did not think Roadrunner would implement this- but they have. The call center agents do not have the information on inventory. Years ago you could call the store directly to put items on hold or talk to a store associate. I understand the store gets very busy ....but no other retail location that I shop does this.
