The businesses were fine. Five Below had a line that took too long & I left. However, I had items in my hand I wanted to purchase but couldn't take the wait. No complaints of the Target either. Just a weird setup. Everything is very spread out. No cashiers. That seems to be the norm these days. Now the parking lot is the problem. It's a "human petting zoo" of sewer rats who are coughing up a load while they hang out there. There has to be somewhere else more exciting the children can go so customers can get in & out of their cars without that element! read more

Shopping center and stores keep improving. A couple good chain sit down restaurants, a great unique family owned BBQ place - Armadillo Willy, Cost Plus, Ross and Hobby Lobby. Overall the shopping experience is great. Parking easy. Stores and parking lot well lit. Lots of food options for between shopping. My favorite place is the Armadillo Willy spot. A particularly comfortable location with both indoor and outdoor seating. The average person might like the two chain restaurants instead. Cost Plus. Walk in because for your love of imported food items and grab a few alcohols just because you can. Found some Dr Oetker food products and imported candy from Japan. Endless novelty items from Bob Ross calendars to Bob Ross canned drinks. Anybody would love to fin Bob Ross in their stocking on Christmas day. Some more stores like Wine and More and Marshalls and Ross are present. There is probably something for everybody here. read more

I like this shopping plaza - it has a lot of current store's and it's right near my apartment so I'm here almost every day. Store's include Target (love!), Sports Authority, Marshals, Bed Bath and Beyond (also love), Old Navy, Staples, Verizon, Petco, Pier, Ethan Alan, Ulta and Amy's Hallmark. There are also a few restaurants too so you can grab a bite to eat after shopping - Red Robin (Yuummmm!), BJ's, Hokkaido , Mimi's Cafe, Armadillo Willy's and of course Starbucks for your Coffee fix. And although it isn't classed as part of the Mall there is also Nubi Yogurt, Chipotle, Panda Express and Home Depot nearby too. There's a huge amount of parking but with one small irritation - so many people simply cannot park to save their life, a lot of which are in the close vicinity of Mimi's (lol). With that said... a nice mall to hit up when you need a shopping fix. read more

Shopping mall is big with a couple of good places to stop and shop for some items. Parking lot is big BUT be aware there are plenty of break ins here so do NOT leave any items in your vehicle watch your surroundings Target - Total Wine - toys r us (which is closing so don't even bother their sale is not a sale) Ulta and pier are a stand out Restaurant Red Robbins Bj's Armadillo Willy's Oh and a ice skating rink This place has been through so many changes and remodeled so many times with so many stores coming and going the ice rink has closed reopened etc. I don't see much going on here except that it's slowly turning into a ghost town most of the stores have gone out of business here from what I hear the rents are outrageous and not affordable there are plenty of empty store locations There is plenty of potential for some many stores to open up here and have a great shopping center but it seems the owner wants to build something else here or sell the land. Has definitely continued to upgrade over the years. I was sad to see Mimi's Cafe but saw they'll be putting a lazy dog which is so exciting! The target here is probably my favorite within this area. Marshall's also has some pretty good selections. This is the closest ulta to me. The shopping center itself has some pretty good stores and is rarely ever packed (besides this weekend for the warehouse sale). I used to come here when I was a kid with my dad to toys r us. The bed bath and beyond is a reasonable size. I remember when there also used to be an old navy here (where ulta used to be). The total wine was a great addition to this area as well. Staples has been closed such a long time too, I'm wondering what they'll put there or if they'll continue to do more warehouse sales! read more

This review is mostly a complaint about the parking lot here, which is overly gigantic and awkwardly laid out, which creates a dangerous situation for pedestrians trying to navigate their way to the stores without a confrontation with a car. There are no marked walkways to give even a semblance of a safe route, and I notice that drivers here tend to maneuver too quickly as they search for the closest possible parking spot. Not that I would even attempt to ride my bike here given these conditions, but bike parking is ridiculously sparse-to-non-existent. There is a small rack near the Target store that is placed so close to the building to render it mostly inaccessible, defeating the purpose. Getting a bus here seems impossible since I've never even seen a bus stop nearby. read more

4 stars because I didn't even know there was an ice rink here and don't give a fart in a high wind that it was closed. Seriously people, you're gonna give an entire shopping center a one-star rating because one business decided to close? Hurrr. I generally like this shopping center. It's got the best Target in the area. I mean, have you been to the one in Tanforan?? UGH!! This Target is by far cleaner, more organized, and contains fewer people wandering around in pajama pants and Uggs. The Marshalls is also a similar contrast...the one in SSF is so gross, but this one is actually pretty un-ghetto by comparison. There's also a Staples, a Bed Bath & Beyond, and from what I understand a Cost Plus (though I haven't ventured out to that yet). There's a shitload of parking and although the parking lot traffic tends to be rather pell-mell, you'll pretty much get that anywhere. read more

a great strip mall. lots of stores but some are closing with no signs of new stores coming in any time soon. toys r us closed and now a sign for toy store is up. Staples and mimis cafe are also closed. Sport authority closed but total wine opened. that place is so dangerous because of the giant alcohol selection they have. hopefully target will be there forever because you can spend hours there browsing. hallmark, marshalls, cost plus, ulta, petco, home depot, sport clip, the ice rink are all there as well. parking is plenty but there are signs to lock your doors and keep good out of sight. a bit scary. lots of food options including armadillo willys, starbucks, panda express, chipotle, bjs, red robin. This is our go to place for Target and other larger retail stores. Although the place can get busy, it's always easy enough to find parking. It's also conveniently located right off 92 although once I did manage to get on the wrong direction and ended in Hayward. Not amused. read more

For six years I did all of my shopping in San Mateo while both of my boys played hockey at the Bridgepointe Ice Center six days a week. Without the rink, there is nothing to draw me all the way up here from Santa Cruz. My sales tax revenue will stay in Santa Cruz County from now on. Sorry SPI, but your new stores won't do the trick. I have better shopping options much closer to home. But the ice - that will truly be missed. Please reconsider and negotiate a new lease with the current management team. read more

If I could give the Bridgepoint Shopping center a negative review, I would. The owner of this center is playing the political games with the city (at our own expense!). They closed the ice skating rink which used to bring a lot of out of town people to shop and leave their money IN THE CITY. Did you know that the Bridgepoint rink was the only one that would allow the disabled children in wheelchairs on ice? Those children have no place to go to now... I (and my numerous friends all over California) will be boycotting Target, Sports Authority, Bed, Bath of beyond, and CVS at this shopping center for as long as the ice rink is closed. This is a really great mall, stores like Target, Staples, Marshall's, Bed & Bath, and Home Depot are really good at this location. There's good parking, the restaurants like BJ's and Red Robin are good and Sports Authority is really big and has good selection of sporting goods. Also the ice rink, it's sad it closed down, but don't give the mall a negative review because of the ice rink. Ice rinks have been closing in other malls in America, it's was part of the old Fashion Island mall. Most people that come to this mall, for shopping at stores like Target and Home Depot. This little strip mall is actually pretty damn decent. They have an AMAzing Target and their Marshals is super nice, clean and organized have a nice huge NEW Cost Plus and BBB for all your I really did not need that needs. You have kids huge Toys R Us with everything possible can get pretty crowded on weekends. You could pretty much get all your errands done in one fool swoop. I remember the ice rink I also remember not a whole lott of people being there. Huge overhead with little coming in means they will rent to the highest bidder that is the way it works things change and you either flow or stay back. How sad! Is this considered progress? I just read and found out about the closing of the ice skating rink. I moved away from that area for sometime now but i have fond memory of the rink where we used to stop during our evening walk and watched the local hockey teams played their hearts out. This center is slowly deteriorating. The Ice rink and the buffet are closing next month. The Old Navy is closing and Target is moving to Hillsdale next year. They have some nice stores but they seem empty of customers. On the bright side you don't have to wait in line to buy something. Decent restaurants, especially BJ's. Terrible traffic design. especially on the Home Depot/Ice Rink side. Who designed this? No one stops, traffic backs up, it is hard to get out of the lot. It needs a traffic light for customer safety.Foster City PD sits nearby waiting to ticket drivers entering and leaving. Must be a bad location. The first mall (Fashion Island) failed and now this one looks like it is going the same way. read more
