Their attitude was very suspicious of me, and made me extremely uncomfortable. I left when I could no longer stand the type of attention being paid to me. The other time I've been in this shop recently, I was with a white friend who was dressed quite well, and we were left to our own devices.

I need to buy…read morenatural materials due to allergies especially to chemicals and yet all their natural high quality Aran wool are drenched with fragrances. Why? I can buy chemically crap anywhere. Please put these away from entrance and fitting rooms in a closed glass cabinet. They can be prominent without ruining the beauty of natural clean materials. Not meaning that the quality is poor, but the the pieces are generally small, lower in price and easy to carry away than the competetion on the other side of the plaza. While well made, I would categorize the selection as a bit "cutsie," which for me is a turn-off. After 30 minutes of browsing, I found nothing to buy, which is unusual for me. If looking for a gift for a student there, this is the place to come. But for more mature tastes, I would go elsewhere.

The owner had to be called over the phone to verify the price. I bought the bag for $44. It was only a week, and the zipper started breaking. I went down there yesterday and the owner was present. I told her about the problem with the bag, and she remembered the exchange about the original purchase, but she refused to give me the other bag in exchange for the broken one. her reason was that I had been incorrectly quoted on the price of the first one, and I was only to recieve credit for that part and would have to pay the difference which was $40 more dollars. In no way was any of this my fault, of course. The shoddy over priced merchandise, her pricing error, or her hapless teenage employee who was just trying to help. I still was getting screwed by this old snatch with an overpriced junk shop. I took my bag back and left, never to return. Maybe I can glue it.
