We came in on a hot summer day and one employee was furiously vacuuming while the other employee was on the phone at the cash register. There were no other people in the store. The employee who was vacuuming had one of the loudest voices I've ever heard. After some time I asked him to tone it down with his voice... he was talking too loud. I would rate a minus 5!!! I keep seeing reviews about this business but the truth is not shown. I visited this store and at the time I had a spur on my foot. The lady proceeded to tell me I was wearing the wrong size shoes. I wear a 7 but she said I needed a 10. She put a pair on me and I could not even walk because so wear a size 7. She then proceeded to show me inserts(3 sets) which you have to switch out 3 times a day and would be $1,000. She told me it would cost less than having the spur removed. Ridiculous!! My girlfriend has been having some foot pain recently, so we stopped in at Good Feet Glendale to find out if arch supports might help. Our fitter took an ink impression of her foot, supposedly showing the need for arch bracing, and signed her up for their 3-step program with a 30-day warranty. She diligently tried going through the indicated steps, wearing thew supports a little longer each day, but in less than a week she encountered back pain she has never had before. During the visit, she also purchased an expensive pair of Brooks tennis shoes that were intended to be used with the arch supports. These began giving her foot pain the following day, apparently because of a bone spur on that side of one foot. After consulting with her back specialist and a podiatrist, both recommended canceling the program. It might work for many people, but it was definitely contra-indicated for people with here particular back and foot issues. So we went back to the store to find that our friendly fitter was out for an extended period of time with medical problems of her own, and that no 30-day trial period existed. She was stuck with time payments on a $1600 contract that she is now unable to use. Store personnel refused to talk to us, which is apparently standard procedure when customers report problems, and insisted we call a central customer service number for help. We left several messages with this center - we were unable to talk to a human at any time - snd they have never called back. Use your good feet, sore as they may be, to stand where you are and stay away from this scammy outfit! read more

I'm beginning to experience some "old age problems" with my feet. Had heard all the advertising so I stopped in one day. The person who helped me was very attentive and certainly had the sales program down. I will say that I I thought there product was good. Appeared to be well made orthotics. They sell Brooks tennis shoes for the orthotics to go into. I listened to the entire sales program. I then asked about costs. Not skipping a beat, my sales person provided a print out. My mouth may have fallen open but hopefully not. I was not expecting them to be inexpensive but I was taken back. I'm not sure if insurance covers any of these costs as we did not discuss that. I believe there has been research done to produce their product, but I need to do some research myself to see what lesser priced options may be available. read more

BUYER BEWARE I do not recommend going here. We came a year ago because I had very bad plantar fasciitis. I should have made an appointment with a podiatrist and orthotics specialist but went for convenience. Very nice when they smooze you to extract over $800 for a set of pre-made orthotics. They made a big deal about coming in often for no charge replacements and adjustments. A year later, I tried to replace my pair. First, the sales woman suggested they were not worn enough, was I sure I needed them? Then she charged me $19.95 for my free pair. When I told her I was supposed to get them at no charge, she said the charge was to ship the old pair back. If I put the old pair in the mail, it would cost less than $2 in postage and there is no way it costs $19 to make the plastic molded orthotics. She also made sure to show me where in the literature they did inform me of the $19.95 charge by showing me a excerpt from the paperwork. She was very argumentative. I should have used my insurance, gotten custom orthotics and saved over $800. read more

Went to the good feet store as I was having some issues with both my legs and feet. They said I needed some new shoes well I said ok so I purchased 2 pair of shoes I was told they will out last my endurance. Well that was false as I average about 18-20k steps per day. Needless to say I spent over $200 on shoes that can last more then a couple of months So far paying $100 for a pair of shoes for work has not been worth it very disappointing as they stated these are top quality shoes.... however they are not needless to say we were ripped off! read more

I went to the good feet store to return a pair of orthotics that were old and damaged. They had a crack in the heal from years of wear. Lisa was the sales agent. She was very nice to me. She remeasured my feet. Replaced my old orthotics. Gave me information on doing the maintenance orthotics. I discussed how much they cost. It was very nice and very informative information about using both orthotics. I decided to go ahead and purchase a maintenance pair to have with the ones they replaced. My experience was very relaxed. She wasn't pushy and I appreciate how knowledgeable and professional she was. I ended up paying less than originally quoted. Very happy with my experience. read more

Terrible place. I came in with the intention of making a purchase same day as I've been having some plantar pain. the lady asked me to take a seat and asked if I had time for a consultation. I said yes I have my work phone on me as I travel and manage a large territory for work. It's imperative that I'm available for my team. She begins to rattle off about never being barefoot as it causes more damage. I look down at my phone and she talks to me like a child. "Are you going to be able to focus this is important. I tell her I don't need the entire pitch. I'm ready to make a purchase. She says well I can't take measurements we need you to be off your phone. I ask if someone else can help me as I don't need to be talked to this way. She says no one is available to work with me while I have my phone on me. DO NOT BELIEVE THERE IS A GUARANTEE, DO NOT BELIEVE THERE IS A REFUND. GOOD FEET, PAY FIRST THEN THEY TELL YOU NO REFUNDS, ONLY STORE CREDIT!!!! I went to the Good Feet store on Tuesday March 10th. The rep, Tyler stated a price that was surprising high. He stated their product was guaranteed and I had 90 days to get refitted up to 2 more times and that the "worst case was at the 90 days I could return them with a 12% restocking fee". I had concerns with the product fitting in my shoes and being functional. He continued to stress how much better my feet would feel and kept stating they were guaranteed. After the purchase was complete Tyler put a piece of paper in front of me and that's the first time ""AFTER I PAID"" he stated there was no returns and only store credit. (I feel stupid for not demanding a refund then, and felt pressured.) The very next morning I called and talked to Tyler. Stated I felt this was a bait and switch and if he had stated the no refunds before, I would not have purchased the product. I stated I wanted either it in writing after the 90 days I would get a refund if not satisfied with 12% fee, or I wanted a full refund now. I stated I would give the product my full effort but my fears were true as they do not fit into my work shoes and again, I would've never bought them if i was aware of the return policy. Tyler was apologetic and stated I COULD GET A REFUND, (all the calls are recorded. I highly recommend getting a recording app to everyone). After several days and attempts with no return call, I asked another rep to have a supervisor call me. Tara called me. I advised her of the situation and she said she would talk to the rep and call me back. She called back later in the day and was very rude. Every time I spoke she interrupted me and was combative from the start. She had no intent to resolve Her "offer, is I return with paying the 12% restocking fee AND minus insert costs of an additional 150.00 which was a CREDIT 150.00 for the package purchase. (So essentially charging me for something I was not charged for in the first place!?) This is fraudulent business practices. I feel my request for either 90 days actual cash refund with 12% restocking fee and their additional fittings etc. were to be upheld "in writing" OR a full refund as I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED IF I WERE TOLD UPFRONT OF THEIR NO REFUND POLICY. I have all the conversations recorded and where Tyler acknowledges I was not told of the return policy before purchase, and Tyler stated I could return for a full refund. Not only I was misled with words such as "worst case I can return", and "guaranteed", but after paying told only store credit would be issued; bait and switch and flat out lies to procure a sale. Tara's "offer" is unconscionable. They have no intent to even uphold their 90 day time frame and charging moreover than their normal restocking. I no longer want anything to do with this company or product. I have sent this complaint to the BBB and FTC. I will post to every review site I can find. I will never go there again I bought a pair of running shoes for $175 When I got home I realized they were too big I called the store and asked if they carry them in a 1/2 size smaller. The salesman who answered the phone would not stop talking he talked incessantly. He refused to order me the shoes for me until I came into the store and he checked the fit of the shoes and made sure that it wasn't a "lacing problem" I told him I knew how to lace my shoes and I just wanted the shoes in half a size smaller he told me he would call me back he took my name and number and he never called me back I will never ever go to that store again. My feet have hurt badly for YEARS. Recently the tops of my feet had terrible pain so that wearing jogging shoes was difficult and painful. My Doc's answer was to wear more expensive, high quality shoes. Went up Macy's, got 3 pairs. It helped. Two days ago could no longer stand the pain and went to Good Feet Store on 68th Ave & 101. They analyzed both feet finding no shoes were holding up my very high arches. I was fitted w their customized, arch supports. There are three styles in the kit. They velcro into your shoes... even sandals!!! Once in place w the Velcro, they do not move around nor will you lose them. All I can say is they're wonderful!!!!! Am able to wear any of my shoes now w comfort! This is so good. They're not cheap but consider the alternative: Costly podiatrist and hard, uncomfortable support. One! Bought the Orthotics I've had him for 2 weeks has made my plantar fasciitis much worse, adding to my problems my feet started going numb haven't worn the orthotics for 2 weeks now and then numbing on the front of my feet with my toes has not gone away highly recommend that you do not waste your money at the Good Feet store there are better alternatives for much cheaper. read more

Be prepared to break the bank! These orthotics work fairly well, especially for tennis shoes, but for $300 you can find others that work just as well. They give you three sets-one is a strengthener, one an everyday, and one is a relaxer. The strengthener is hardly used because it hurts your foot and you really don't get used to it. An hour is a long time to wear it! I was told that I could wear my relaxers with sandals because of the velcro attachments, so I did this. Lo and behold, I came home one day and one was gone! I didn't even feel it. When I went to the store they told me it was covered for life only if damaged. They wanted to charge me for another one-$50 - $100 range! I walked out and will never recommend them to anyone. What a scam. read more

I recently came down with a case of plantar fasciitis. I'm 62 years old and have never had a foot problem before. I'm an avid hiker having hiked the grand canyon many times. Had I known what planter fasciitis is and the pain that it brings, I would have been much more careful hiking. I'm part of a group that is planning to hike the Inca Trail in Peru starting the middle of September. Coming down with planter fasciitis this close to the hike put me in a bit of a panic. I had been to see the foot doctor as well as a physical therapist and decided to stop in to the good feet store located at 67th Ave. and the Loop 101 in Glendale Arizona. Once there, I fell victim to the high pressure sales tactics and misleading information. I am thoroughly disgusted with the arch supports that I was sold. I am kicking myself that I didn't do further research on the good feet store and read all of the negative reviews. They are very accurate. I have worn the arch supports for five days now and have decided to stop. They are doing nothing but aggravate the problem and make both of my feet hurt. Based on the other reviews that I have read, I'm sure if I go back into the store they will tell me that I'm not wearing them correctly. I don't believe that is the case. What hurts the most is the cost and the fact that they have a no return policy. I suspect they have that because of their past experiences and bad reputation. My advice to anyone thinking about going to the good feet store is to think twice. Based on the many people that I've talked with since then, I believe that you can get as good or better results by simply using over-the-counter arch supports. I went into Good Feet today on 67th and Beardsley, because my mother told me how much support these new inserts helped her entire body. I came in with zero knowledge of how much your foots' posture effects your everything. Bonnie spent her time to explain it all to me and then personally fit my foot into the perfect form. We spent over $1,300 for their insert system and shoes. My husband has made numerous trips to get different inserts and 6 months later went to podiatrist. Today was told these type of inserts will not help a flat foot. He needs to have them made specific for his feet to eliminate the pain. We just wasted $1,300. Had to start walking due to health reasons, but my whole left side from my foot to my shoulders hurt. Went to GoodFeet on Loop 101 & 67th Avenue and saw Tara. My pain went away and now I'm up to 12-18 miles a week walking. It amazing what these do to align your whole body. I also got the best shoes there to walk in. Support is what it's all about. To me, the feet are some of the most important parts of your body that you must take care of. Do to my problem of having "flat feet, " I developed a sharp pain in my left ankle about two months ago that was preventing me from completing my weekly fitness regimen. My orthopedic surgeon injected cortisone into my ankle but the x-rays indicated that my bone on bone pain was due to the flat feet that had severely impacted my ankle biomechanics. I went to the The Good Feet Store on 67th Avenue after having pain for almost a year. Some days were so bad I could hardly walk. I had previously seen two Podiatrists, had three cortisone shots and one custom made arch support. Nothing was working. Thank goodness my husband suggested the Good Feet Store! Tara Dale was patient and VERY informative. I have been pain free for nearly 5 weeks. This is the longest I have been pain free in a year.
