I felt very rushed and pressured the whole time I was there. There was absolutely no way this woman was letting us out of there without spending at least a hundred dollars...and that was only for one set of inserts.She hit me with everything from "you deserve this" to almost being downright rude when I stated I wanted to think it over with my husband, especially after finding out that the whole "package" was well over three hundred dollars. Walking back and forth in three sets of inserts in 5 minutes does not gurantee your feet will be better....but the lady certainly tried to push it. I don't know why she took the foot "imprint", nothing was explained to me about my feet, or any reason given for the imprint. I did end up getting one set of inserts for 100$. And they have been helping, but it was seriously worse than trying to walk away from a used car salesman. I felt cornered and pressured, and just wanted out of there. read more

My Dad went here and was sold 4 sets of inserts for $1200. He was told these would provide immediate relief. These inserts only continued to worsen his pain. He was not informed of the final sale policy when he purchased. He returned to to the store 3 weeks after purchase to let them know that the inserts only progressed his pain. It was at this time was told there is no refund available. The store gave him a new insert and told him it would be better after 2 weeks. His pain never got better. Money, time and energy was wasted on this poor experience. It is hard to even give this store and experience even 1 star. read more

The Good Feet Store will not help you. There is absolutely nothing custom about their inserts even though they pretend there is. You'll stand on a piece of paper for 5 seconds and then they run in back and bring out "custom" inserts they had on the shelf. They don't tell you until after you pay that there are no returns on the $2 pieces of plastic that cost $2600. They also don't want you wearing the inserts in your actual shoes because you will notice zero difference so they insist on having you try them in a brand new pair of Brooks. If you say, "I see no difference." They insist you will "in a few weeks ". You won't. But in a few weeks, they'll have your money, you'll still have your foot pain and they won't give a crap. read more

This store is very disappointing. The clerk was pushy and made suggestive remarks such as "don't your feet feel better?" "doesn't your back feel better?" etc. etc. The t.V. advertisements claim "individualIzed inserts" but to my knowledge the only thing individualized was maybe the size. VERY VERY EXPENSIVE!!! One customer burst into tears when she saw the price and they continued to try to find a way to sell to her even though she said she did not have the money. I walked in with the appointment free try on all in mind just to do some research. Left after buying three items totalling 250$ that I didn't want to buy. The person I talked to was nice at the beginning but once I told her I was not planning on buying anything her mood completely changed and she basically wouldn't let me leave until I bought something. Overall I think if the customer says NO I don't want to buy anything then the sales people should take the Loss and move on. And most importantly not show their dissatisfaction too the customers. read more

BEWARE OF SCAM!!! My 92 year-old mother-in-law insisted on visiting the Good Feet Store in Omaha, Nebraska, based upon their television advertising. She wanted a pair of shoes that would improve her balance. The store manager and sales lady used deceptive sales practices to convince my mother-in-law that the everyday Brooks tennis shoes with inserts would greatly enhance her support and balance. She tried the shoes on with a nylon sock provided by the store (all designed for easy slip on). My mother-in-law could not tie the shoes but the store manager assured her that she could buy no-tie laces from Amazon. They want you to buy the shoes first and then attempt to fit the shoes with no tie laces later. What a joke!! After persuading her to purchase the shoes and complicated insert program, she brought out a price sheet that priced her package at $2,750.00. My mother-in-law felt that the gain of balance would be worth the price. How do you put a price on "good health"? The manager never mentioned the "no return" policy. When my mother-in-law returned home, my family was helping her with the shoes and inserts. However, the $80 socks that they sold with the shoes would not allow her to comfortably put her feet into the shoes. We also concluded the program was way too complicated for a 92 year old woman to manage by herself. We attempted to return the unworn shoes a few days later and were flatly told, sorry, no returns!! The shoes and plastic inserts are, in no way, worth what they charge. I encourage you to go to any other orthopedic shoe store and pay 1/10th of the cost for a shoe that will do as good or better than the Good Feet Shoes. The shoes are just plain $180 Brooks shoes. Nothing special. The store uses deceptive sales tactics and a lifetime guarantee to lure in unsuspecting consumers. I doubt many customers take advantage of the Lifetime guarantee or live long enough to take advantage. The inserts might work for some people but are not worth the price charged. We may use the inserts as serving spoons next Thanksgiving!!! DO NOT SHOP AT GOOD FEET STORE!!! read more

I got inserts costing over 400 dollars a little less than a year ago, I was hesitant to purchase them given the price. I'm not one to spend that much on item but it was necessary given the fact that I was going to be on my feet working 10 hours a day. My sales person was extremely pushy in her sale of these so I eventually move forward with the purchase, one of the appealing sales point was the fact that these inserts could be replaced. I was under the impression that meant in all cases (including theft and lost). Considering the price of them It seemed reasonable. They were surprisingly cheaply made (I use to have much better inserts as a child molded to the shape of my feet) and functioned about as well as those insoles you can get from Walmart. But I couldn't return them and the sunken cost made me suck it up and deal with it. After all---at least I could replace them whenever. They did their job and that's fine I wore them up until I had an incident at work and was put on workers comp. In that time I moved in with my mother and during that move the inserts were lost. I called into them to see if they could be replaced and I was told they couldn't cover them (which was news to me) but I could have a discount. Annoying but I was like "oh okay what's the discount?" If I could get something for a decent discount I probably wouldn't have complained. It was a 50 dollar discount----not worth it. Basically 10% off. Well I pushed to talk to a supervisor (I told the worker it wasn't their fault and I didn't want to be frustrated with the wrong person.)I had to wait for a call back which took longer than expected--- wasn't the issue here----what was the issue is when they called back. I expected the supervisor to be professional but the woman's tone was so patronizing it set me on edge. She talked to me as though I was a child with all that "Ah darns" and "oh wows" that would make anyone cringe. I'm a grown person and being spoken to this way only made the situation worse. There's a customer service voice and then there's talking down to your customers. Finally after it became clear that I couldn't get the inserts replaced, I think it could have been fine ---I just wouldn't purchase from them again, but it just got worse. The supervisor just kept talking and talking, making me more frustrated. I wanted to get out of the call, I didn't want to be stuck on loop of "well I paid for it" "sorry we don't cover it" and that's what was happening. Even after I snapped and made it clear that I didn't want to talk anymore and that I was hanging up she just kept talking and defending their position. I was becoming increasingly agitated and finally said "after seeing your reviews online I doubt you're here to help the costumers." Or something along those lines and just hung up after saying a final angry bye. Their customers service supervisors are just as pushy as the sales person. I think this is the rudest I've ever had to be just to get off a call. Usually a polite "that's all I needed" would work. read more

STAY AWAY!! BEWARE!! The Omaha store is manned by slick, unscrupulous people. They have the deceptiveness down to a science. After quickly making you question your podiatrist they will try to get you to pay $450 for your special insoles and another $250 for shoes. The shoes were not all that special. Just basic made in China shoes. Their very high pressure makes you feel so stupid if you question their vast 'expertise'. After the purchase, and you get home and can breathe again, you realize you got hoodwinked, duped, professionally conned. Then you go back to the store and let them know the shoes hurt to wear and have made the problems worse. They simply point out that at the bottom of the folded under part of the receipt it says, in all small sized caps, "ALL SALES ARE FINAL". They smile at you and say they can do nothing for you. Follow up(11/25/19): Since my original post on 11/20/19, the manager at The Good Feet Store gave my mother-in-law a full refund. original post (11/20/19): Buyers beware!! My elderly mother in law made a visit to The Good Feet Store today because she has been having some pain while walking & standing. She talked to Rebecca who immediately went into sales mode. Long story short, my mother in law was charged over $1000 for Arch Supports, which she had to finance because she couldn't afford them!!! She knew while she was at the store that the price was way over her budget but Rebecca wouldn't take no for an answer. At the moment a customer, especially an elderly customer, one who is on a limited budget, expresses concern for not being able to afford the product they are being offered; the sales person should cease trying to pressure that customer into going through with the sale. Instead, Rebecca convinced her to finance the purchase. This sales tactic is completely unacceptable. As soon as we found out about the purchase, we called the store and spoke with the store manager who insisted there are no refunds whatsoever. When we explained what happened, the manager expressed no concern at all for taking advantage of someone who was just looking for a solution to their pain and whose expression of not being able to afford the product was ignored. Never once did they offer her a less expensive option, which I'm seeing they have available based on their website and the reviews I've read. My mother in law ended up with about 4 products she couldn't afford, that led to the $1000 price tag and Rebecca was sneaky enough to include a $100 warranty that my mother in law didn't ask for or knew she had to pay for. It's like Rebecca just kept adding things because she knew she could. How this woman sleeps at night is beyond me. The end result was a high pressure sales tactic (scam) that kept my mother in law from feeling comfortable enough to say no. She was convinced these inserts would ease her pain, all while knowing she couldn't afford them and basically felt coerced into the sale instead of being able to turn and walk out the door. So... Buyers beware!! Their website states, in bold letters, "You're under absolutely no obligation" but I warn you now; if you go in this store, be prepared to feel COMPLETELY OBLIGATED! I took my husband into the Omaha store for his birthday today because I've heard good things about these arches. This was our first time there, so we really didn't know how the fitting and purchase would work. I felt like it was very rushed, they are not very up front about the price, and there were all kinds of add-ons, like the first time I bought a car at a used car lot. He tried 3 different arches that are part of the 3 step program. That's what we thought we were buying, and shoes. He left wearing the shoes with the step one arches in them. It took our salesperson a while to write everything up, he quickly went over everything, and the total was more than $2200.00. After getting home, going through the bag, and looking at the receipt, there is a second pair of the step one arches, the "Diamond set," that are the same cost as the "Classic set" at $429.95 per set. We called them about this one, which was never explained to us in the store, and not on our instructions, but "all sales are final." You also pay for the lifetime warranty at $99.95 which was never offered, just applied. My advice, watch what they are putting in your bag and check out your receipt closely before paying. read more

I went to The Good Feet Store hoping to get some good flats for church and casual wear. They tried to sell me three pairs of inserts and one pair of shoes for $2400. When I told them I had just purchased a pair of inserts from my podiatrist that was made specific to my feet and that I could not afford $2400, they tried to tell me how wrong my custom inserts were and how perfect their off the shelf inserts were (they told me they were custom to my feet but custom does not come from the back of a store in 10 minutes). They also tried to get me to put the $2400 on time. When I tried to leave the store they kept stopping me from leaving. It felt like a Kirby salesman - a hard sell all the way and the shoes were ugly - they only had one shoe option for me. I left angry. I am going to Tuflys today - I had a great experience with them when I had plantar fasciitis years ago - and I still wear the sandals I purchased from them. I only went to The Good Feet Store because people recommended it and I was in the area. read more

Thanks to The Good Feet Store and Lowell Martin Jr, I'm feeling 20 years younger! My original foot pain had ended before I walked out of the store. However, it took several fittings to get the perfect adjustment for my crazy feet, and Lowell was right there for me. I'm not only free of pain in my feet, but my legs and hips as well. I'm needing less medication for what I thought was arthritis and my balance is even better. I can't say enough about the Good Feet Store! Thank you. read more

I saved for 4 years to be able to buy the 3 step system that is supposed to work miracles on suffering feet and after 4 weeks of constantly switching insoles in my shoes my feet hurt worse than ever. They called and asked how I was doing with my insoles and I told them they weren't working out and they seemed more interested in a joke that must have been going on in the background than the conversation because the person who had called me was laughing the whole time I was talking to her.
