Found this place on maps and decided to try it. What a happy surprise! Owners are awesome and welcoming! Drinks and food are great! Have the kids try the caffeine free shark water! Make sure you order some warm "Gookies" and some of the glitter energy drinks! Owner gave the kids a box of kinetic sand to play with while we ate. This spot opened up right around the same time my family moved back to the area. It's a great addition! Their coffee is amazing, the chocolate peanut butter cookie is a must!!!! The flatbreads taste fresh, I come here often to grab lunch on my break. The inside design is true to the local area and fishing community. As a mom with young kids the drive through is wonderfully convenient and allows me to support a local business more often than going through a chain. The employees are always so kind, they give little gummy treats to my boys. They are dog friendly as well. I met a friend there for lunch and she brought her dog in and both owners came out and loved on him. They also support an organization that cares for children on fallen soldiers. Heard about the grand opening of this new coffee shop. Checked it out on Facebook and look interesting to see in person. It is in the sane plaza as Gold's Gym on US 1. Found a spot to park and headed in. They greeted me as I walked in. Great ocean themed place with an abstract oceanic mural along one wall. They also have a huge screen with ocean life playing in it while you wait in line to order. Similar process at the other coffee shops. Order at one end and pick up at the other. The menus are on screens above the counter and real time. What ever is crossed out is not available. I ordered their square knot chilled and biscuit/gravy. The knot was a great mix of a latte with Honey, Cinnamon and Vanilla. The gravy was a good flavor with sausage. The tables have a natural wood edges like drift wood and power/usb ports at each table. Music is not to loud so you can carry on a conversation without screaming. I would be back again to try something else. read more

What a wonderful new place to go if you're ready for something besides the franchise national chain coffee shops. The Googan is cosy and decorated in a nautical theme (jellyfish screen is mesmerizing) with a touch of US Navy thrown in (took a minute but then found out that owner's son is stationed off Japan). Coffee choices are unique, I had a Figure 8 which is a hazelnut coffee white chocolate latte. Companion had a Coconut white chocolate latte. Both were delish hot. The menu also includes energy drinks and teas. All creatively named with little touches like gummy mermaid toppings etc. They have home baked large balls of cookie dough (best way to describe the "Googie") in flavors like snickerdoodle, chocolate chip, and Buzz (a toffee, chocolate, coffee flavored dream) that they serve warm. We tried all 3 along with a garlic cheese flatbread that was heavy on the garlic and flavor but just not what I was looking for with my coffee. In short, I love what they are trying to do here, hope to get back soon. Update: 2nd visit good as the first! I tried the Freight Train flatbread (perfect spicy sausage gravy!). It was a bit hard to eat because it doesn't come out on a plate but a round wax paper. I'd suggest compostable plates if possible. A note about the young people who work here...such nice kids!! Where Everybody Knows Your Name.... We discoved this gem of a coffee shop about a year ago. It's a Wonderful place to go for our morning coffee. Besides having the best coffee ever, their staff is warm, friendly and "fun".... Several of them knew us by name after the first visit. There staff is a reflection of the owners who are very friendly and caring. The shop has freindly vibes and gets a great clientele.
