Outdoor patio hasn't been cleaned in a LONG time...piles of leaves, ashtrays full of rainwater laying in flower pots, etc. indoors paintings hanging crooked, odd stuff laying around. Went twice. Coffee, quiche pretty good. Breakfast sandwiches are pre-made so if you eliminate the meat, they just remove it before cooking. Came back for happy hour. Red wine served very refrigerated. Weird. Pizza toppings were cold ..not cool..Cold. Food for 2 of us was served with 1 set of utensils & had to ask for another. No biggie but c'mon. Eclectic, sophisticated decor, a lovely brick patio, and delicious coffee. Barista was friendly but as with so many just didn't quite get it. I wanted to try a Chai Latte for the first time (I know, right?) but need to avoid sugar. This should have been the part where she told me it wasn't actual Chai tea but a processed concentrate loaded with sugar. I obvi couldn't finish it once I discovered the sugar content, but on the upside now I know that most coffee shops serving "Chai" anything are actually using a syrup, not the actual tea. Even with the sugar mishap the place is darling and we will definitely return whenever we visit the Stuart/Jensen Beach area. The divorce lawyer next door had a hilarious sign we couldn't resist - I wonder if they're always this funny? We'll check it out next time - although I think I'll stick to a plain Latte with almond milk. read more

The vibes at this place make me want to move to Stuart???? Idk how to explain it but I instantly felt safe here. I went for some coffee and breakfast with a friend that I don't get to see that often and it truly was like entering a portal. We both ordered lattes, mine was pistachio, hers was salted caramel. I got some cold foam on top and it just truly tasted like it was made and crafted with love!! I would like to go back and try a lavender one and see how that goes. We also both ordered the egg, bacon, and cheese English muffin and it was perfection! I will find myself back here. The ambience is nice outside and the decor inside is very fun. They are quite frequently out of items listed on their menu. The last time we went, they had no wine available. The time before that they said their kitchen had no food available. So if you want to just get a cup of coffee and hang out in a relaxing atmosphere, it's a great choice. They also have live music sometimes, but I would not choose this as a place if you plan on getting a bite to eat or a nice drink. read more

Cute little coffee house on the edge of downtown Stuart. Super cute outside patio. I usually order a tea latte with honey and half the coffee shops can't get that right. This coffee shop hit it spot on. Extra foamy almond milk just the right amount of honey super English breakfast black tea. Along with my tea, I tried their plain croissant and the banana nut oatmeal. You can skip the oatmeal, but the croissant was excellent. Although Stuart is new to me and I haven't checked out all the places, at this time, this will be my go to Coffee bar. read more

This is an amazing hidden gem. During the day it is a relaxing coffee bar for anyone looking for a calm place to work or study outside of the house but at night the light up their patio with strings of bulbs hanging from the massive oak trees. They have light bites and a nice selection of wine that can be ordered by the glass or by the bottle. The staff is always friendly and they have live music on certain days. This funky coffee bar with the blue door was a perfect respite for a break in our travels the other day. My friend was craving a coffee and we needed a place to sit and figure out where to head for dinner. I think she'd been here before, but hadn't ever tried the coconut cake. So we decided to have dessert before dinner! I can't believe my picture of the mini cake didn't come out (they don't have the best WiFi reception inside). It wasn't a slice of cake but a small round pillowy soft white mini cake covered in melt in your mouth frosting and a ton of coconut on the outside. Some of the best of this type I've ever had. In addition to the cake, we had drinks, too -- she had a beautifully crafted cappuccino. Me an earl gray tea. A coffee shop should, of course, have a number of choices of coffees. But as I'm a tea drinker I'm usually very limited. Here they had a mini placard with a list of quite a few different teas! And you could get them either iced or hot. I didn't try the coconut cake but will be back for sure. It's the kind of place where you can hang out and read the PAPER vs. being on your phone! I think we were served by the owner who was so nice. Coffee Bar Blue Door was opened in 2011 by two attorneys who missed the coffee and wine bars of Miami when they opened their practice in Stuart. They decided to pursue their passion by opening a coffee bar and infuse it with their love of different cultures. Thus Blue Door was created in a cozy building which opens onto a lovely courtyard with trees and plants. The coffee house opens at 7 AM and stays open until at least midnight giving the community of Stuart a place to gather. They serve coffee, wine, and a bistro menu. During the week they host events such as trivia, live music, and movies outside in the courtyard. I stopped in a rainy afternoon on a trip to Stuart. I had a cup of their strong and foamy cappuccino and a slice of the quiche Lorraine. It was lovely enjoying my snack in the inviting coffee shop as the storm raged on outside. It was a nice respite until the rain soon stopped and it was time to be on my way. Coffee Bar Blue Door is a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of the historic Stuart shopping area. It is well worth seeing out however as it is beloved by locals and tourists alike. read more

What an amazing cute little quaint location. I knew from the others Yelpers I was going to like this place. But it's nothing like when you are walking up and you open the door for the first time. I could totally see myself stopping by and enjoying an afternoon coffee with a loved one or friend and just having a great time. This place had a relaxing vibe to it. Like just hang all your worries on the tree come in sit down enjoy conversation with the staff and have a coffee or tea and something to eat and just let the worries wash away. Came in at night time. Still love the ambience here. I sat inside but the live guitarist I could easily hear as the doors were open to the patio. Young people were lined up, I didn't act frantic to be served but they really weren't paying close attention to who had been sitting waiting. It took awhile for them to get to my order. There were also dishes that needed to be cleared on the bar, that sat there for more than 20 minutes. The girls were behind the coffee bar were pleasant but they were busy. They could use another person to do some bussing. I ordered coffee and it was served to me at a very tepid temp, bleh. Drinkable but it wasn't great. This quaint coffee spot is a boho gem. Vegan/vegetarian milk options are available and any caffeinated beverage of your liking can be made. I've had a matcha latte with almond milk and a almond milk latte which both delicious. There's outdoor seating; great to read through a few chapters or just enjoy some quiet time (there is going to be chatter and murmuring from neighboring guest obviously) in the outdoors. There's a few sitting areas inside surrounded by global instruments and local art. My only con is the staffing. On two separate occasions, l entered with only one barista behind the counter completing several orders single handedly. It's street parking so that could be a hit or miss, but it shouldn't take you long to find a spot. I ordered a cold brew, and definitely recommend it if you like iced coffee. Ordered three coffees and sat inside while drinking. Super relaxing. The coffee was amazing! All three of us really enjoyed them. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the service came across as somewhat uppity. Somewhat typical in coffee shops I think. Just didn't get a cool vibe from the staff. Besides a variety of coffee and teas, they offer wine, beer, sandwiches, and fresh baked goods! The smell of fresh pastries was delightful!
