This cost her much pain and led her to cry and scream, which the staff dealt with in the most humane and compassionate manner. They spoke softly, encouragingly, and continue to let her know that they were doing the best they could to help her without causing her any pain. She is always clean, dressed and clean clothes, and in a good mood when I come to visit. The staff to patient ratio seems extremely high, and the executive director is very approachable. I would refer my other clients here in this part of DFW without thinking twice. What a wonderful secret.

The admissions process was easy, smooth and very informative. The hospital is beautiful, welcoming and clean, with all private rooms and bathrooms. Her doctor was patient and kind, and broke everything down in words and terms for her to understand. The nurses and supporting staff were very attentive to the details of her care. The therapist were very knowledgeable and educated her to be prepared for her discharge home alone. According to my MIL, the food was great! And they made sure to give her "tasty" food that fit her diet needs. I was able to speak with her case manager directly with any questions and concerns throughout her stay. She was given resources so to help her succeed upon discharge home. I did entrust Encompass Health Inpatient Rehab Hospital with my loved one and am so thankful and grateful that I did!

I think that what made the difference for me was their people and their programs. It was pretty much AA 24 hours a day at the other facilities. Greenhouse takes a more holistic approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a dose of AA, combined with a great nutritional program, and a very professional medical and counseling staff. They just don't kick you out in 30 days and tell you it's time to buy a book. During the program, they do a deep dive on why you drink (or drug), give you a big, accurate picture of what's truly going on, and teach you very effective coping skills. Once we identified the source (in my case, trauma, PTSD), they also included EMDR therapy. Something else I found interesting when I got there, was that the sexes were segregated during classes. In my experience at other facilities, a truly coed environment was disruptive, and it was hard to focus on recovery with all the drama going around me. I found that being with the men for things like process groups, that I shared a lot more than I would have in a coed environment. Greenhouse and AAC have my highest endorsement.

Knowledgable staff that make you feel not only welcome but wanted and cared for. They not only have done my rehab but have made suggestions for massage places, dry needling, and encouragement that helps me get through these times. As a runner I get troubled when I have to remain immobile for any period of time. They keep telling me stop running. But it hasn't worked yet! Amazing place!!!

Glasses and socks all lost this week. Glad I am going to move. Brand new socks were never worn, marked them with pink thread and was saving them until I got a pair of shoes. I called Tina, as I was very disappointed, only to find her not knowing when policy changed, why all the Hoops, and figure out what happened. Tina said "Mrs. Ming, I don't give a fuck" and hung up. Yes i have left a message for the CEO\administrator to call me back. That total disrespect and disregard of a potential patient means MS. Tina does not want to work there anymore and i want to ensure I help her out in that regard. I can't imagine the treatment I would have gotten in a place like this.

The four higher ratings appear to be from the physical therapy and Rehabilitation side, I do agree that the physical therapy and Rehabilitation at this facility is generally good however the long-term care side is what we are reviewing and this has been our experience . My mother lived at this facility for over two years. While daytime care was generally adequate, nights and weekends were consistently poor and neglectful. For over a year, I raised concerns specifically about evening and weekend care, yet these issues went unaddressed and showed no meaningful improvement. There were multiple instances--especially on weekends--where my mother was left unchanged for extended periods. She often had to call me so I could contact staff to get basic care addressed. My mother frequently complained that her call light would go unanswered, leaving her unassisted in her room despite being bedbound. On several occasions when I came to help her myself, I observed CNAs at the nurse's station playing on their phones instead of responding to residents, or no one at the nurses station at all for extended periods of time. The food quality and variety were also concerning, with the same meals repeated several days in a row. Communication was one of the biggest failures. In two years, I was never able to speak directly with her physician despite multiple requests. I was never even given the doctor's name, and staff could not provide clear answers. This was especially troubling since I needed to be involved in her care. There were repeated hospitalizations that appeared preventable with proper monitoring and timely care. She was sent to the hospital multiple times for infections, including severe UTIs and pneumonia. In one case, an ER physician described her UTI as the worst he had seen in his career. In 2026 alone, she was hospitalized four times in four months. The facility was also reluctant to arrange hospital transport when needed. At times, my mother had to call 911 herself, or I had to intervene and insist on transport. During these critical situations, I was not kept informed of lab or X-ray results. When I raised concerns and asked what steps would be taken to prevent future incidents, I was told that if I was unhappy, I could move her. After that, repeated attempts to contact leadership--including the Director of Nursing and administrator--went unanswered. We ultimately moved her. No one from the facility has followed up to ask why. The building may look nice, but the level of care, communication, and responsiveness was deeply concerning. I cannot recommend this facility.
