Though I may be wrong, I believe it is more Eastern-European focused. Either way, they have a great selection. I picked up some of their cured meats and some spreads. I'm looking forward to visiting again when I have more time! The shop is both large and small at the same time. I hope that they are able to fill in more of their shelves with more great food items. I went there a second time last week, and I will be coming back whenever I need supplies in Manchester. Some of the things I get here, are the black chickpeas(channa), besan(chickpea flour) for pakoras (gluten free too), large size bags of restaurant quality garam masala, paneer(India cheese), Kashmiri chili powder, and many, many more things. Indian food is not the easiest cuisine to learn, but is super delicious, and has many healthy ingredients. Don't get me wrong I love chicken tikka masala, and lamb saag etc, but I often make curried chickpeas (channa masala) and they are great leftover cold on salad, or in a wrap with some rice, and yogurt/sour cream etc. They also have some frozen delights for those wanting something for a quick meal. They also have some produce, and hard to find items. A small corner store in West Manchester tucked away in a residential area. Inside a few rows of Polish imports- krout, pickles, jams, breads, cookies, frozen foods like pierogies, and a deli with homemade cold cuts, cheese, head cheese, sausages, etc. My scores of the day included: -Pierogies -Pickles -Sweet & sour red cabbage -Sage Tea -Vegeta (seasoning) -Bacon -Ham stuffed with bacon -Smoked Kiebalsa The owner seemed very nice and the store was pretty busy. My only suggestion would be that the deli items be labeled with name and price.
