Unfortunately, the experience was not worth the drive. While checking out, I accidentally broke an item. I immediately accepted responsibility and was completely willing to pay for it. Mistakes happen, and I had no issue making it right. What I did have an issue with was the cashier's attitude. The woman working the register was incredibly rude and treated my family and me with a level of disrespect that was completely unnecessary and unacceptable. Customer service goes a long way, especially when a customer is taking responsibility for an honest mistake. Instead of handling the situation professionally, we were met with hostility and poor treatment. Between the overpriced products and the unacceptable customer service, I will not be returning. Next time, I'll make the trip to Boston instead, where I can find better quality products, more competitive prices, and businesses that actually appreciate their customers.

I went there a second time last week, and I will be coming back whenever I need supplies in Manchester. Some of the things I get here, are the black chickpeas(channa), besan(chickpea flour) for pakoras (gluten free too), large size bags of restaurant quality garam masala, paneer(India cheese), Kashmiri chili powder, and many, many more things. Indian food is not the easiest cuisine to learn, but is super delicious, and has many healthy ingredients. Don't get me wrong I love chicken tikka masala, and lamb saag etc, but I often make curried chickpeas (channa masala) and they are great leftover cold on salad, or in a wrap with some rice, and yogurt/sour cream etc. They also have some frozen delights for those wanting something for a quick meal. They also have some produce, and hard to find items. It is also right across the street from Market Basket, and that one has a good selection, of hispanic, and Mediterranean ingredients, plus everything else you would expect.

YAY a Polish market close to me in Manchester! I had been…read morewanting to check out the Bartlett Street Superette now for some time and I made it there today. A small corner store in West Manchester tucked away in a residential area. Inside a few rows of Polish imports- krout, pickles, jams, breads, cookies, frozen foods like pierogies, and a deli with homemade cold cuts, cheese, head cheese, sausages, etc. My scores of the day included: -Pierogies -Pickles -Sweet & sour red cabbage -Sage Tea -Vegeta (seasoning) -Bacon -Ham stuffed with bacon -Smoked Kiebalsa The owner seemed very nice and the store was pretty busy. My only suggestion would be that the deli items be labeled with name and price.
