The owner, Ruben Ruiz, is very helpful and addressed all of my concerns, big or small. We had one, primary tiler that worked on my house, Javier, and he did a great job. Javier ripped out the existing carpet and replaced it with ceramic tile. He also ripped out the shower/tub inserts and replaced it with tile. Lucky for Javier or not, I chose a hexagon tile, which proved to be a bit difficult with trying to fit the tiles around a window and 3 shower niches. Javier took his time and made all his measurements carefully. The end result was better than I imagined. I have zero experience in home renovations, I was glad to have Ruben and Javier there every step of the way. They made the experience less stressful and were always available to answer my questions.

I have never received such horrible service. Long story short we were left with a huge mess in our bathroom for over two months. And a kitchen with no sink or even a temporary countertop. The one star is for the plumbing company and fabricator that we're contracted out by CCR. They were great and told us that they also hated any work with Rick or CCR. I want to say that the company would be good and we just got a bad project manager but if you call the office it's not any better. The only person that would even return our calls was Ricks kid daughter. Anyways, if you need someone to do a quick demo job I would recommend them but for ANY form of follow up, customer service, or human decency RUN from any projects with Rick or CCR.

They fixed things inside that fell apart from all the banging, but I had to point it out to them. That being said, the crew responded fine and did what was asked. I was under the impression that all of the facia boards would get replaced when they had signs of rot. Only one of them got replaced and even though it needed to be replaced, it didn't look like it was the worst one. That seems like it was an issue with the contract not being clear. All of this to preface that the roof we had was great and I regret buying a new one. We got a roof that looks newer, and may seem prettier - if you like looking at white painted foam roofs. I was hoping the new roof would save A/C money, but our electric bill is about the same. The one thing the old roof had was that it was much quieter in rain. I know it doesn't rain much in Tucson, but when it does, now it feels like we live inside a snare drum. So, I wish we'd gotten more advice before deciding and I wish the sales guy had been more clear about the status of our old roof and the changes we were considering.

Martin (Starr Pass Roofing) was quick to point out the low quality shingles. It was clear he was experienced and knowledgable on roofing. He and his team helped me with the insurance process but I chose non-insurance route. Martin was very communicative. When the shingle supplier messed up the order, Martin took responsibility even though he didn't have to and rectified it as quick as he could. The install was done in a day. They cleaned up. Martin clearly knows his stuff, is a professional, and does what appears to me as quality work.
