In early May I had Eco Green come to my home for the 4th time. They originally came highly recommended from a colleague a few years ago. Dave and Mark were very thorough in assessing what I needed to have done and got to work quickly. To make it easier for them, I had cleared things off the tops of tables and moved small things out of the way the day before. Both gentlemen were happy to explain what they were doing because I like to know what's going on. They use environmentally safe and hypo-allergenic cleaning solutions - I support that 100%. The carpets were so clean when they finished. There were no annoying smells, just fresh smelling carpets. There were several high traffic spots and areas where the dogs lay and played that would always come back after a while when we used other cleaning companies. Since Eco Clean has been cleaning my carpets for a few years, those spots are GONE and have not shown any signs of coming back. We have 21-year-old carpet in 4 rooms in our home, and asked Dave and his team to clean them, which they did, coming two different times (2 rooms each time). We were intrigued by EcoGreen because they use non-toxic cleaning products. The carpets now look like new -- our son's room had some definite dirty splotches that are now gone. They were so careful, and even took my furniture outside to clean so they wouldn't have to leave my door open and let my AC escape. SO thoughtful. and my furniture is wonderfully clean! Such a nice feeling to sit on a crisp clean couch. The process took about an hour and a half, and the furniture took several hours to fully dry so I recommend scheduling it early in the day if you want to sit on your furniture at night. Dave and team came out today to my west side home to clean my bedroom carpet. My dog has recently had some accidents on the carpet and when I would try to clean the spots with regular carpet cleaner it was just leaving big dark spots in our carpet. Dave called when he was 30 minutes out, and he called right in the window of time he gave me originally. He was right on time, explained everything really well, gave me a good price estimate, and immediately got to work after the plan was okayed. He had a trainee with him who was also really friendly and professional. They both took such great care in hauling their equipment through my house so as not to damage any corners/paint on the walls, and as soon as they were done (it only took about 30 minutes) Dave brought me in the room to show me their work. He explained again everything they had done, including the fact that the carpet may feel a little sticky for a day or two as the deodorizer sets in. I'll tell you, when I saw what our carpet looks like now I was totally impressed. It looks so fresh and clean. I wish I had thought to take BEFORE photos, but it didn't even occur to me. I did take some AFTER photos which I will find a place to post. Initially, I chose to use EcoGreen because I have a chemical cleaner sensitivity. I am also concerned about my dogs laying on the carpet and such, and I generally take care in my home to use natural cleaning products. It was really important to me that we have our carpet taken care of the right way. Dave explained that the deodorizer they used was also an antibacterial made up of lemon and thyme essential oils. My house smells overwhelmingly like thyme right now (that's a good thing). All in all, I have never paid to have carpet cleaned before (I have never had carpet before!), but I would guess the cost of this one room cleaning would be roughly the same as or only very slightly higher than having a conventional company come out and clean. And for the friendliness/professionalism that Dave and his crew offer, I would say go with EcoGreen. You will not be disappointed, and there is no reason to use harsh chemicals when you have such a great alternative option available. read more

My carpet and tile were in dire need of cleaning due to having a full house that included 2 toddlers. My grout was horribly dirty and just about black everywhere. This is the first time I've used EcoGreen for upholstery cleaning. When I called to schedule an appointment, I spoke with the owner, Dave Sherman. He was very accommodating and we settled on a time for him to come out fairly soon. Fifteen minutes from my scheduled appointment, Dave called to say he was 15 minutes away and then arrived on time with his nephew. I was having a large L shaped sofa and two chairs cleaned. They prepped throughly and brought in a large tarp to cover an area rug. And then they went to work. Well, first of all - what a great guy. I tend to talk to people and was very impressed with Dave and his nephew. Family man, great values, and he was so good about explaining the process and any problem areas I had on my upholstery. Of course, I'd waited a long time to have these pieces cleaned and there were some heavily soiled areas from pets and - us. Nevertheless, after three hours of diligently working - my furniture looks great. In years gone by, I used Stankey Steamer for a couch and two chairs and I think they were there barely an hour. So, no comparison. Also, I was considering having a cover on a daybed cleaned while Dave was there along with two large bolster pillows. He actually talked me out of having him clean it and assured me that it could easily be launderd in my washing machine. Nevertheless, he cleaned the large bolsters and didn't charge me. And the big plus is that Dave uses Eco/environmentally friendly cleaning products which I definitely prefer. No odor, no residual anything that I need to worry about. Dave's the man.
