Lucille is incredibly professional, warm, and friendly. We stopped in on a weekend after making an appointment to discuss wedding flowers and packages. She was great about showing us examples on her iPad and being straightforward about costs and what was in season. I love her sense of style and she hands down has the best website of the florists we considered in the area. She runs her small business out of an adorable home/showroom, with good street parking and a cozy meeting space. Hubby and I planned for bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and two arrangements for the church. (We didn't need centerpieces.) Although we were a bit of a small order (by wedding standards) Lucille still took time to chat with us, draw up proper proposals, and call us to follow up on details. I asked for peach toned roses (the closest I could get to a gold tone) and Lucille was unfazed in our request to not use any white, which is considered inappropriate from a Chinese standpoint. Lucille was also the only vendor we talked to who was upfront about our budget, and working within our budget to fit our vision. It was nice to have the pink elephant out of the room and have her give us honest feedback rather than do the whole dog and pony show. The flowers were delivered on time to the church and looked fantastic. a few hours later, they were definitely a bit wilted, but pepped up once we put them in water. The flowers still looked great a few days later! For value, professionalism, and elegance, I really loved working with Lucille. She is a one woman show, so do know it may take her a bit of time to respond to you. Happy planning! read more

I would strongly recommend against using this florist if you don't want to spend a heap of money and then have your recipient be disappointed. I told the woman who took my order that I wanted to spend $150 and went on her website to pick out the style that I liked including the flowers. Neither the flower selection nor the bouquet size merit $150 charge. It was worth half at best. Rip off read more

At any rate - flowers and service are absolutely top notch. If you want something unique and beautiful - not the standard FTD type thing, buy your flowers and arrangement here!!! The most beautiful flowers in the northern New Jersey area. The owner, Lucille, and her workers make the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen! During the fall she has fabulous pumpkin arrangements that look great as the centerpiece to any table. I have also been to a wedding where she did all of the flowers and they were truly breathtaking. A few days ago, I ordered flowers for my mom for Mother's Day and aunt for her birthday after reading the nice review here on yelp and the testimonials on their site. I really liked their gallery of flower arrangements too. Beautiful and unique. Because I live out-of-state, I used the gallery pics to describe to Lucille (very nice) what I wanted for my mom and my aunt. Today the arrangements arrived and I was disappointed. When my mom showed me what she got over Skype, the flowers were not the same ones I had spoken to Lucille about...even the colors were wrong. I called Lucille to give her feedback and she let me know that the ranunculus that were supposed to be in this arrangement didn't come in (or that they were not good) and she subbed in others (but not in the same color - orange that I had wanted - it was a meh green hydrangea that I told her specifically I didn't want )...this was true of 2 other flowers that I had chosen as well. I had repeatedly told her my mom wanted BRIGHT COLORS (fuschia and orange)...what I got was ordinary, pink, white and green. I wish she had would have at least called me so that I could have had a hand in the choices she made. Lucille did say that she would give me a $25 credit if I ordered from them again, which I believe is a nice gesture. My suggestion for anyone ordering that can't be there in person and pick it up would be to make sure you let them know that if the flowers you order don't come in, to please call. read more

I live abroad and Lucille not only was so helpful but she customized the card for me to include a special note and photo. I wanted to surprise my girlfriend who works in Westfield with flowers to her job. I decided to try my luck and find a local flower shop in that area. I went inside and describe what I was looking for and how much I was trying to spend. Within 10 minutes Lucille helped me decide on a great arrangement and assured me that the flowers would be delivered same day. Lucille actually said she would drop them off herself (since it was only a few blocks away and it was a slow day for them).
