Went for my first time yesterday after a recommendation from a friend of mine. If you're a social smoker or just a weekend warrior this place is right up your alley. Its so commercial its sad. Can't look at the buds close up. Everything is behind glass. They pick out a few choice nuggs to put up but you don't get anything that looks as good as whats on display. The packaging is a joke. Sealed for freshness it says. Then why is it dry as hell when I took it out of the packaging? Its just an effort to sell you jars. Any other place you go to just puts it in a jar. What a concept! I have a real passion for weed. If your'e like me then you don't want to go here. This is commercial as hell and all about the money. Adam is the guy to go to. I've had him the last three times my guy and I come in and he's never led me astray. He answers all my questions honestly and it feels like I'm always walking out with a pep in my step. If you have the option I highly recommend asking for him to guide you along. (But literally anyone is super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.) Their selection is always poppin and their value flower this week was at 28%, and I also got a topical CBD to try out for my back pain. This place is right down the street in Northglenn. The lines are ridiculous and I've waited 30 minutes to be greeted kindly always though. Yeah, they test their product, but I've had some of the worst bud here in regards to just feels kinda off. IDK....maybe it was that one strain....but just turned me off and then yeah some decent too...though never real chunky thick smelly buds. There is no choice on sativa or indica with preroles, so just take what they have. If you give them your information they will give you a nice piece of plastic to put in your wallet. The plastic containers are not childproof so you will need to buy a smelly lunch bag with their logo on it which I think is $3.00 and make sure you have it every time when you go to them....it HAS to have their logo on it. Worst experience ever. I bought clones when I took them home to a complete empty area I ended up getting aphids which then costed me 3x what I paid for the clones to get rid of the pests. When I called to express my concern all I got was basically it was not there problem. After talking to some people this is not the first or I'm sure the last time this will happen. It's sad when we as citizens voted for them to even have business and all we do is get ripped off. I have one star but in reality it doesn't even deserve that. read more

Great dispensary. I use to complain about the high prices until I got jerked around by other dispensaries in the area. Great place. As a customer I have heard numerous times from the employees that they are unhappy they cannot use their med card discount and employee discount at the same time. This makes them all very pissy. Wow.. This place is so commercial. I feel like a sell out lol .. no real complaints other than the atmosphere (which borders on irrelevant), oh and the caramels I got were hard. But overall, wide selection and very reasonable prices. I think they produce all of their own product. No loves oven or any of that stuff but they have their own version of just about anything you can think of. I personally found the strain choices a bit limited but not bad. Utterly disgusted with this entire company after seeing how they operate the past few months. I have been to this location 5-6times in the past 3 months and what I have experienced has progressively worsened. Many of their recreational strains are UN-FLUSHED and filled with HARSH NUTRIENTS (from their improper growing techniques) that no one should ever inhale. The people who run this location have NO CONCERN FOR CUSTOMER HEALTH, yes smoking is not good in general but FAILING TO GROW MARIJUANA PROPERLY like they choose to do and continue to do is very disheartening to someone who enjoys the plant as much as I do. Whoever grows their products either chooses to skip extremely important steps in growing safe marijuana or is told to by their management. A few of the Bud-tenders are very helpful and pleasant to make a transaction with however, the majority of the staff gives of NEGATIVE vibes and frequently answers questions with another question, again this is based of multiple visits with different tenders each time. It was hard to tell why the staff didn't care UNTIL I was lucky enough to watch the GENERAL MANAGER of this location greet a 95 year old first time customer. When the 95 yr old arrived the greeter went to fetch the GM so that he could say Hello and whatever else. I am a few people behind the 95 yr old at this time so I have a good visual of what happens next. As the GM walks over to greet the senior citizen it is PAINFULLY OBVIOUS how HIGH he is. He made out "Hello, how are you?" to the senior citizen then proceeds to stand like a sloth for the next 30-45 seconds, seemingly asleep. The senior citizen was saying something to him that I could not make out as her back was to me, and after about a minute he slowly made his way back behind the counter and into the back, not once thanking the older woman for coming and hardly even having a conversation let alone a professional conversation with her. It's frustrating to know and see how GLUTENOUS the manager is at this location and is a leading factor into why I will no longer waste my money with these low low scammers. This dispensary used to be awesome but recently they drastically hiked there prices. There prices were slightly high before but now there just ridiculous. You can find way better top shelf for much below 200 dollars an ounce and there wax is by no means worth 35 a gram before tax. This used to be a cool little place but lets be real there prices are way out of control even there member benefits dont even make this place worth it in the least. I don't know exactly why I was over here but I went here again. Now, my previous experience was less than stellar, but I had hopes that a different person and a different day would make up for it. Well , I came in and was checked in really quick. The lady at the front desk told me I had my first -timer discount, that was nice considering. I went in the back and holy shit. It hit me like a pile of bricks . There was a line snaking around the entire place at 2:30 in the afternoon. I felt like I was in a line for a roller coaster at disney world. I do find it unappealing and tacky that there's an actual knick-knack area where they're pushing t -shirts, cups, mugs etc etc. A bunch of stuff like you were at a spencers. It honestly, gives me the impression that this owner is capitalizing on his "brand", the business and the "tourists".I get it, if I were from say from Kentucky, and coming out to Colorado , this would be an overwhelming eye opening experience. However, I just can't help but find it distasteful, it's makes it feel very commercialized and for me, that takes away the whole vibe of what we've made of this industry. After I seemed to wait in line for 20 mins, which I do have to say was moving a lot faster then I thought it would, I was lucky enough to see someone who didn't pressure me or upsell me on anything. I asked about using my first time discount and he said I could use it on ANY item over $5 dollars. I grabbed an 1/8th of sativa/dominant flower, proceeded to check out within I'd say 5 mins . The guy checking me out, called the manager over and she had to do a few things on the computer to apply my discount .She was very friendly, and did it fairly quickly for me. Took a few mins but I have to say this experience dealing with the staff was much much better. I tried the flower, basically was dry, had little to no real flavor. Kinda reminded me of a mid grade shwag without seeds. Not the pre-tend kind bud I used to get back in the day, this was dark colored, not bright green, not extremely fluffy and didn't have freshness to it. I don't know what they're doing or not doing but it's just not that good. On a side note, I understand the frustrations of the previous reviewers.We are natives, we shouldn't have to wait in line , put up with upselling, and absolutely we should never have to purchase shwag. As far as being part of the "everyday whiners" I really doubt someone from Texas will have the same palate or experience procuring top quality, because if they did Texas would be doing it themselves! If you are going to put the product that someone reserved back on the shelf at the end of the night, it would be a good idea to state that on your website. I wasted 1.5 hours of my life on your shotty website to reserve product and waited an hour for the reservation to be ready. Good thing your employees had it ready 10 minutes before you close! That's totally enough time to get to your business.... I arrived at your store at 9:04am to wait 15 minutes in a line consisting of 3 people, to be told by an unknowledgeable and utterly confused employee that they don't have my reservation ready. Then I waited another 20 minutes in line at your ridiculously run business to get the same product that I wasted 1.5 hours to order the night before!! I have never spoken good of your business because of the poor management and the ridiculously slow employees and will never speak good of your business in the future. Too many days have been ruined after experiencing the nonsense that you call a business. This company does not even deserve 1 star. read more

But today blew my mind when the bud tender called me a " freak" and was very disrespectful after asking for my military discount. I suffer from ptsd schizoaffective and major depression. So being called a " freak" and disrespecting me as a veteran really messed me up. So i called and talk to David the manager who seemed to not even care. So my wife went to speak to David and he jus blew us off... I will be withdrawing my membership because i do not support disrespect of vets much less disabled vet this is sickening, we give our lives for you and your going to disrespect me for asking for 10 percent off.... ***UPDATE*** I am changing my rating to 3 stars because i do not want to blame TGS for this issue, they are the best place in town and have great deals. I'm a fan of TGS. The staff is friendly and helpful, the product is good quality, and the prices are reasonable. (Sure, if you shop around you can find cheaper, but I'll pay for the quality and convenience and I make a point of going on days when there are deals!) I usually online order and if I pick up during the day there's barely a wait. Occasionally I go into the store to browse more and I find the staff to be very, very helpful. This morning I was helped by Adam, who listened to what I wanted and gave some really helpful suggestions. At Adam's advice I'm trying a new product that I'm very happy with! I went in to buy some seeds and because of my walking with a cane they expedited me to the front of the line. That's the good news. They checked my id twice on my way in, and the first time it was entered into the computer. Very complete check in. As I started to look at the hash I asked to see the best indica they had. The bystander pulled it from the case and held it securely in his possesion. I gave a little tug and he still did not let go. At that point I felt very disrespected and walked away (with help from my walking cane) from that counter. On The way out I asked the staff up front if this practice was policy and they responded yes. So what it boils down to is after the check your ID twice and enter your name into their computer to let you into their establishment they still don't trust you enough to let you hold the product long enough to look at it. If you want to wait in line for a minimum of 15 minutes no matter what time you come, this is the place. They have a terrible selection of edibles, and the flower is "meh". You can sign up for a rewards card, but don't get too excited. You can't use your rewards points for more than 75% of the total so you have to pay no matter what. Came in looking for an indica. They did not have the strain i wanted. The budtender offered us a strain that tastes the same, a sativa. I have more knowledge of strains than their budtenders. If i wanted a stain for sleep why in the world would i want a sativa. Prices for an gram are out of control. Don't weigh nugs in front of you. I felt like i was in Wal-Mart. Went to use my medical card and was told that I couldn't use it I could only shop recreational because my address is wearing off of the card. I walked out, won't ever go here again. Card clearly had my name that matched my id and a clear expiration date. I've been a long time TGS customer (since 2012, when it was strictly medical and a lounge type environment) but recently have decided to stop going for reasons that other reviewers have noted. The wait times standing in line are terrible, I've waited in line for nearly an hour once, but usually it's about 20-30 minutes standing in a roller-coaster type wait line. There are NO CHAIRS in the wait line, you must move ahead as the line advances which is very tough on people. The main reason I want to stop going to TGS is the very high prices and recently awful customer service. It's like the bud tenders are completely unhappy to be there and I've received just outright poor service on my last several visits. It's really off-putting after waiting in line for a half hour to be received by someone that's really not interested in selling their product and wants to deal with you as fast as possible. I'm spending almost $200 per visit, I don't want to be treated like a douche. The prices are high and the bud selection is limited (they have several strains available but severly limit the quantity you can buy).... so don't expect to buy a half or an ounce of anything good. The hash and oils section are always weakly stocked and the prices are just insane. Overall, I'm disappointed that my local neighborhood dispensary "went corporate" and ruined their product by growing way to quickly. The novelty of going to a dispensary wears off quickly the second or third time you wait 45 minutes in line to buy some bud. read more

This particular location seems to get a lot of crap, especially when it comes to pick up. It isn't a surprise either. Usually pick up is crazy. There is no getting around it, and I'm not sure what TGS can do about it other than move to a location with more space...so be warned. That being said, if you're ok with going into the store, the staff is great. Recently we were serviced by Trenton, who did a great job of making sure we had exactly what we wanted. He did a great job. For your daily weed smoking needs, TGS is a good place to go. There are dispensaries with better weed, but it's significantly more expensive for what you're getting. There are dispensaries where each bud tender is truly an expert, but usually the selection is lacking. There are cheaper dispensaries, but the bud isn't nearly as good what TGS puts out. This is why I use TGS as my daily driver. read more

There price match is a joke btw. there manger also kept beating around the bush if the product was outdoor or tried to say it does it really matter is he joking? Then i ask about organics and he said no buds could be orgainic. But there are a couple places who pride them selfs smelly top shelf indoor organic buds. My brother and I have been to this and other Green Solution locations many times but this one I would have to say is the worst when it comes to its customer it is always so packed and even thou they have so many bud tenders they are still very slow. I do understand that this is the most busy location out of all of them but for a visit it took me 50 minutes from beginning to end for a visit and I knew what I going to get not OK. I would think of getting your staff more up to speed and also to be a little more nicer instead of just rushing and then being rude because the store is so packed and they need to get it moving, they just need some sort of better system. read more

Walmart of weed. The only difference is the outrageous prices and employees for the most part are friendly and give good customer service. However the employees are not very knowledgeable about their products because they can't seem to keep the same employees for more than a couple months at a time. I was a loyal customer until I found The Lodge on high st. Much better prices and the staff knows their products down to a science with growers and extractors on staff. 15 dollar top shelf eighths, really quality promo oz's for under 100 bucks and grams of concentrates for 15 bucks. Not to mention no 30 minute waits at the lodge just for the bud tender to rush you through your sale like at tgs or most other depos. Won't likely be back unless I'm in a pinch. read more

This is the closest recreational store to my new home so that is where I have been going for a year. It is overpriced compared to Boulder - where I used to live but it was convenient. I only vape and I go there to get my cartridges. A cartridge stopped working about halfway through. I took it back to the store and they gave me such a hassle. It was half gone so they could not do anything for me. Then a manager came out and said they would give me half off. This is no way to run a retail business and there are other stores in Northglenn and I will not be shopping at Green Solutions anytime soon. read more

I don't understand why the ratings are so low for these guys. I've never had a problem with what I've purchased which has been sugar cones and gummies. Andrew suggested Wana gummies and they are the best I have tried so far. They have exchanges/refunds and a rewards program. I think some of you all have been too accustomed to Colorado being legal that you don't remember that street dealers don't offer deals, refunds, or rewards. When I arrived I was told by an extremely rude manager that I could exchange it but need to pay 50 percent of the cost to do so. TGS is the only dispensary I've ever visited that has the percentage of each chemical composition labeled on every container. The employees are highly knowledgable. Damn feel like it was yesterday that this company was the top in the game but what I unexpectedly experienced today showed me otherwise. When I was just simply just trying to get some flower I was subjected to two employees making me feel so completely uncomfortable while they ignored me to have a conversation between them two about some a female I literally felt like they knew nothing about what they were selling and only cared for the female waiting on line. Honestly I have never felt like that and I would never put myself in the position where your employees are more worried about tending to a certain sex before they can give me the insight on their on product in which there trying to sell.
