Home made fresh lemonades. Lavender and pink guava

Love this place! Owners are amazing. Plants are beautiful and healthy. Plants I have never even seen or heard of are here. Fair price for the health and love they put in it.

I had my birthday in their event space and it was so magical and unique. Such an amazing hidden gem in Jax.

Anyone in Jacksonville ever looking for a unique and magical spot for a private event- look no further than The Green Spot. A true hidden gem at the farmers market- there is truly nothing like it. Wonderful space to host a party amongst the flowers! Also just stop by for plants and lemonade too!

I love to come here and breathe it all in. Try a juice and buy a plant. The owners are great. Can say enough.

Amazing atmosphere!! You have to try the blackberry hibiscus lemonade while you shop!!

The Green Spot is an independent vendor (and by far the coolest) at the Farmer's market located on West Beaver Street. When you first walk in, it fees like an oasis of all different kinds of plants. Owners, Dave and Erica showed us the best hospitality. They whipped us up the best drinks (Passion Fruit Lemonade and Kiwi Coconut Limeade) and home made empanadas. They have many different plants for sale from house plants, outside plants and edible foods. Definitely a place to come and hang out. Dave mentioned they are in the process of building out a deck space for patrons to hangout and enjoy a drink while they sit and enjoy the space. Overall, this is an awesome place and I'm looking forward to coming back!

I told them the basic of what I wanted and I let them run with it. They came up with all the plants and the design and I even had a dry River Creek put down which is fabulous. It was one of the easiest projects I think I've ever been involved in and the project team that I worked with was great! They were the nicest bunch of people, so polite, on time, clean up was great including pressure washing my driveway. Darrell was the project manager that was responsible from start to finish. I pretty much left everything up to him and his expertise for suggestions, arrangements and most plants used. I wanted something low maintenance but aesthetically pleasing to the eye. His plan was perfect! Adam, the foreman, who actually supervised and did all the work out front was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Even asking him to make a change or add something was not difficult, he was so agreeable to please the customer. His Workman Kaboba and Jay work together so well it was pretty amazing to watch it all come together. Would I hire them again for another project, absolutely!

(even Datil peppers which is hard to find!) They have all the supplies including pots and soil. The biggest praise I can give this business is their customer service. I was warmly greeted by multiple employees, and a nice lady was very patient with me and all of my questions. Going into a garden store can be intimidating when you don't know where to start, but the staff made everything very easy and even helped me load up my car with all of my goodies.

My wife came by this store a couple weeks back and bought some pots for our cute new family members, but she forgot the saucers for them. I came in today with the intent of buying the saucers and maybe getting a new plant. This place looks great. They have tons of good looking plants, herbs, and shrubs. But with all the feel good green vibes and pretty scenery it was strange how the customer service was so eh. Now, no one was a straight up jerk, but there was something missing. I thought maybe it was just me so I asked my wife after I got home and she had the same experience. She didn't say anything to me about it before. Anyhow, they have an assortment of plants, pots, saucers and supplies. Prices are not cheap compared to other locations I've visited around town. There are people there to ask questions to and check you out, but I found staff at competitors a bit more willing to talk and answer in sentences rather than one word replies.

This place has a wide variety to choose from. In the past I've purchased a lovely jade and pearl pothos and a beautiful white wizard. You can tell they pour so much love, care, and attention into every plant they sell, there isn't a sad leaf in sight! They have a fantastic selection of flowers and plants, plus plant food specifically suited for Florida gardens. While they carry some pots, they have a nice selection! The real stars of the show are the healthy, thriving plants ready to come home with you. As a locally owned and operated business, they deserve all the support we can "grow"their way. And let's not forget their resident superhero cat, Night Claw! Though with that beautiful brown-copper fur, I can't help but call him "Bean" because he looks like the world's cutest coffee bean. Slightly obsessed with him Honestly, if you haven't visited Garden Shack yet, I'm shocked . Stop stalking plant photos online and get over here! Get your hands dirty, support local, and watch your plant collection flourish.

The nursery was well laid out, had a TON of variety , and copious amounts of health plants. I ended up getting a desert rose and my mom got a few plants for her home. They even had a sale table where items were 50% off, they mostly appeared healthy. There were many planter options as well as pre-potted planters for sale. They had these massive planters with beautiful flowers/items in them and they were marked for sale. It was not something i had seen before but I enjoyed seeing a pre-made planter. The prices were much better than what I am used to at both Home Depot and Lowes. Will be back!

It doesn't look like much from the road but once you drive in, it's a full blown nursery. I'm not what you would call a major landscaper but this business has met all our needs. Last year we bought a bunch of landscaping shrubs and the guy who rung us up gave me 2 pepper plants - jalapeño and datil - little guys in styrofoam coffee cups. I decided to try growing them and my jalapeño is producing about 30 peppers a month. The datils are ready but I think the plant is a little more finicky. Either way, it's been a success. Competitive prices across the board even compared to the big box stores a couple of miles west. Durbin is my go to for any nursery needs.
