I have no issue with the painters - the room looked fantastic when done. However, the Left Moon Painting computer website and office need some improvement. I requested an 11x12 bedroom to be patched, wall repair, primed and painted the room. I expected this to include the window frames and the door frames around the closet and entrance doors. The website only gave options that said "closet" and "doors". I didn't want the inside of the closet done and I didn't need the doors painted. Painters showed up, did a great job but when we inspected the room at the end, the window frames or door frames were not done....just the baseboards. Now who paints the walls, ceiling and baseboards and NOT the window frames and door frames? Anyway, I called the office and was told it wasn't part of the original quote and that would be add'l money. After some discussion, the person said he would send someone back out and they would put 1 coat on the window and door frames at no charge. This was done. My recommendation to Left Moon Painting have a Project Manager call the customer to review the online quote to make sure it includes what Left Moon Painting will offer and what the customer wants.

Quinn Bothers Masonry parge coat failed in less than 10 months. The material they applied peeling off more than 25% of the work surface. We called and spoke with the office of Quinn Brothers Masonry three times. Each time we were told the owner would return our call when he arrived in the office. We never heard back from Quinn Brothers Masonry. We hired another reputable/qualified stone mason to remove all the parge coat Quinn Brothers had applied and start over. We did sue Quinn Brother Masonry in District Court. Quinn Brothers Masonry did not show at the schedule court hearing to defend their actions and judgment was entered against them in our favor. To date, Quinn Bothers Masonry has ignored the court order to pay the judgment against them.

For example, he lost my cell phone number mid-contract. The Quinn Brothers were contracted to fix my back steps, redo the pointing for the exterior basement wall, and re-stucco my chimney. I truly only needed the chimney done, but Patrick up-sold me. The debris for the pointing job (the removed cement) was not cleaned up and left in my garden and yard. The back steps on the house were done terribly. They are not leveled and "patchy". I have no idea what quality the chimney is - I don't have a ladder to access the roof. I shared my feedback with Patrick. It was like pulling teeth to get him to review the final job. He agreed that the craftsmanship for the stairs were sub-par and offered to redo the job at no cost. He also offered to have someone clean up the debris. 5 months later (now) and nothing has happened. I cleaned up the debris myself, and I guess we'll have to live with the screwed up stairs. I feel fleeced! Come on. Stand by your word. Don't tell me you're going to do something and not do it. Communication and trust are the two most-important elements of a healthy customer relationship.

Had the designer come out to he house in May of 2022.Measured doors we picked out doors etc. Put down the deposit. was told doors would be ready in September. September comes no call from Chapman. I call them with no response at all. The customer service and response from Chapman was awful a zero. Finally get a date for installation which ends up to be December of 2022, 3 months after I was told doors would be in. after many calls from me to set up install no calls from Chapman ever . They come with the door finally and the door was measured wrong by the designer. They have to order a new door. Installer said he was supposed to have come out and measured again before doors were ordered which never happened. Installer was amazing. New door comes in of course I had to call Chapman they never called me to tell me doors were in. Scheduled a date again . Chapman screwed up installation date a few more times. Today Chapman finally came out to put the last piece on the door . Products are very good and our installer was excellent!!! Chapman customer service and support was awful. They never called me I always reached out to them. Never confirmed appt . Not sure I would ever use them again
