They welcomed us on our first visit and were super informative and kind. Overall super clean and very in touch with Mexican culture. It really is Mexico Lindo! We purchased an assortment of bread and a tres leches cake. All were extremely fresh and delicious Took them to a party and there was not one crumb left. The ojo is incredible and the bolillos are perfection. The shop is super clean, the staff is very friendly, and the variety is huge--everything from tamales and fresh tortillas to seasonal aguas frescas. Bought some sweet goodies, some recommended rice bread and a fajita torta. Everything tasted wonderful. Everything was freshly baked, tasted really well: very important to me: not too sweet, but just the right kind of sweetness. Very, nice and friendly people. I think you also could sit down to have a coffee or breakfast, but did not try that. We wanted to get home asap with our goodies to make a real nice cappuccino and enjoy everything by sitting in our backyard, since the weather was gorgeous.

Or, you could get a sweet Salvadoran quesadilla. Very different from the Mexican quesadillas, the Salvadoran are made from rice flour, cream, sugar and cheese. They look more like a pastel de nata or an egg custard tart than a Mexican quesadilla. Definitely try one. They are delicious with a cup of coffee or hot tea. Their tres leches is another nice option. So light and moist. Sponge cake soaked in three milks. Condensed. Evaporated. Heavy cream. Another delicious option that is sold by the cake or by the slice. Per usual, I check Yelp to see who has the best breakfast in the area. I was pretty disappointed with the ratings of several places so I was considering just going to grab Whataburger. However the main photo of this donut case caught my attention. It looked so delicious and the 4.9 star rating got me excited to try it. My only complaint is they only have 2 designates parking spots. (There is more parking across the parking lot, so it's not really a huge complaint..) It was clean, the donuts were like sugary pillows, the bacon egg and cheese croissant was fresh, the cake donut was perfect. Customer service was fantastic! The drink cases were full of options. They also make flavored coffees and as I was leaving I saw straws for bubble tea! If you want the best options, get there early. If you don't see what you are wanting, ask if it's in the back. When I was looking at the croissants I guess the owner saw my dismay at there only being sausage in the case. She asked, "do you want bacon? I'll make it for you.." of course I told her yes. So she went to the back and made me a bacon egg and cheese croissant. The bacon was thick and cooked to perfection. Everything tastes so fresh. If you are thinking you want donuts, pull in and get the donuts. You won't regret it. Your kids will want this donut place from now on. Your co-workers will love you when you show up with a dozen mixed donuts. Treat yo'self.
