In addition, Kendra, the salon's talented makeup artist, completed the experience by creating an everyday makeup look using my own products. I had the most amazing experience at the Greenroom Salon in Boca Raton. I had previously gone to 10 hairstylist just to make my color medium brown and not black and I spent thousands of dollars and a lot of my time and nobody could get the color the way I wanted it. Then I walked in and I saw the most adorable man and his name is Brette. I walked right up to him and said hi I am Lisa. I am so frustrated. I have spent thousands of dollars and so much time and I hate the hair color. Can you help me and he said of course I can just wait a few minutes and he fit me in right away and looked at my hair. Got a color together and wouldn't you know in Less than two hours? My hair was shiny, glossy and medium brown and I was crying because I was so happy, and I finally found the stylus that I've been looking for my entire life. I also have very thin hair, and when he was done, he made it look thick and healthy and I just cannot say enough about Brette . If I were you, I would call him immediately and get your hair done by him I don't ever go to another stylist ever again. He is Not only talented, but he took the time and showed that he cared about my situation, and was incredibly gracious with his time and making me feel and look fabulous.!! Gabby is an artist not a mere stylist. The detail she uses to mix that perfect shade and toner is nothing short of perfection. I can't imagine anyone else coloring my hair or giving me the best haircut I have ever had. The vibe of The Greenroom is the best chilled out, relaxing atmosphere ever. I despise these crammed over abundant salons that are staffed by Regina George clones. Lindsay is a warm, flower, earth mama and her mocha lasio treatment is 10/10. Perla... so sweet, ridiculously stunning, Shirley delight and joy in a tiny yet beautiful person. Honestly, it's one of my favorite places to be. So this was my first visit to the salon and everyone was friendly and helpful. I had a voucher from Yelp and a Kerastase treatment with check in. The salon was very nice inside and clean. Came to the salon for balayage coloring and a blowout. Lindsay did the color and I highly recommend her. She knew exactly what I was looking for and the color came out fantastic. Coming here for the first time it was a little nerve wrecking. I had dark hair all my life and decided to go "Pixie"... I mean Platinum Blonde Pixie. Prior to coming here, I called a few other places. Most of them said "Well we can try blah,blah,blah. Until I found "Greenroom Salon". I asked them, if they can do it ? They said of course we can, let's see you for a consultation. I went a few days later, met my stylists Rachel and Nicole (They're FABULOUS), I believe that's there's names - I hope I'm not wrong lol. Note : A $50.00 deposit is required and you will pay the remaining balance after your appointment. I mean that pretty standard. Then we did it !!! The whole process took up to 4 hours. The Salon is squeaky clean and everyone is so nice and most importantly attentive. The price seemed OK ($215-220) and tip (20%) especially with the service I requested. Please keep in mind it's in Boca, if anyone knows they know lol. If you want a GREAT service come here, it's worth it. In life you get what you pay for! I hope this review helps. Awful experience. When i called they said my single process would be $75 so I made an appointment with Noona. The color looks good so that's why I'm leaving 2 stars. But charging me $136 after everything was said and done and not telling me that the price was different initially is very upsetting to me. I've been doing the same hair color for years and I've never been charged this amount EVER. I feel like they took advantage and I'll never support this business again. read more

After living in Boca for too long and desperately searching for a master colorist and stylist and getting frustrated by getting my hair ruined time after time. I stumbled upon Bret after asking someone with great hair who her stylist was, she replied "Bret at the Greenroom Salon" he's the best, only go to him", well I did!!! It was love at first sight, he's incredible, vivacious and talent oozes from his finger tips. Even my highly critical mother in law said this is the best haircut you've had, even better than some celebrity stylists in LA. He made me look like a glamorous rock star. Although I can't say much abt the salon I can tell you Bret is INCREDIBLE! Shirley washed my hair and was a doll and the front desk girl was a sweetheart and I'm finally happy I found hands down the best hairstylist in FL. I have been going to the Greenroom for a while now and I have used Nicole for my haircuts,my bang trims, my color my straightening, and everything she ever does is always the best but this last time I asked her to cut my hair a certain way and showed her a picture and she outdid herself. My mom changes hairdressers more frequently than I change my sheets. And the hairdresser of the month is Gigi at The Greenroom. My mom picked her because as she was getting her hair colored at The Greenroom she noticed lots of curly haired clients getting their hair cut and blown out by Gigi. Since my mom is blessed (note the sarcasm) with the same uncontrollable curly hair that's on my head (actually she's to blame for mine!) she figured Gigi could do wonders with her hair. And while I didn't get my hair cut by Gigi she sure does wonders with the blowdryer and my naturally curly locks were straighter than they've been in a long time. It was $40 for a blowout, which isn't bad compared to the Chicago prices I'm used to. So if you're a curly haired gal looking to survive in humid South Florida Gigi is your gal. I went to get the yuko Japanese hair treatment. It costed me $500. The hair process was fine, she worked very hard. At the end it was a rainy day and you aren't supposed to get your hair wet for 48 hours. First of all I had a permanent wave because nobody offered me anything to cover my hair. then when I got home the top of my head felt spiky and I wasn't sure why it felt like that. It looked great at first. After a few months my hair grew out and I realized the stylist made the top layer of my hair fall out. (My hair was natural and untouched by heat and color) So now I have long hair but the top layer is super short. It looks like a mullet or one of those late 80s early 90s haircuts which was not the look I was going for. Will go somewhere else in the future read more

I can't say enough about my visit! I've moved here recently and was looking for a good place to get my hair colored and styled. Hadn't done anything with myself in forever. Greenroom had good reviews so I decided to try it. Going inside, it's modern, clean lines yet friendly and lovely staff. Lee saw me first and due to time constraints and how thick my hair was, she referred me to Morgan, whom she said was amazing with redheads. He is so good and personable. I hate to just sit in silence and it wasn't like that. My shampoo girl, Christiana, was so lovely too. I was offered water, coffee and snack as well as I waited for color to set. Sherry cut and blew my hair out.. OMG she's fabulous! She took the time to explain what was up with my hair.. listened to my hair goals and instructed me on how to make it happen. It took me a while to find a hair salon that wasn't extremely expensive and also did a good job, but I found that in green room! I go to get my hair colored by Lauren she truly does a great job and is so nice! She listens to exactly what I want and goes beyond. A unique thing to green room, which I kind of like is if you don't want to get your hair blowdried they allow to do it yourself in the back with no charge providing you everything you need to do so. Yes, Yay! I'm a fan. Got my haircut but was unhappy with the style. Don't get me wrong - it was a great cut, just not what I had asked for. The girl who cut my hair legitimately felt bad about the situation and wanted to fix it, but I needed to get a move on. I really appreciated her wanting to get it right, but I was on a time constraint and had to go. A couple of days later I call to make an appointment because I did want it fixed and Jen (the manager) took care of the whole situation. She was extremely professional and did great service recovery. Grace West does my color, she is phenomenal!! With that being said, I can honestly say that I am "one of those girls" I have changed my hair color to every color possible! My latest change was black, when I was over that color I decided I wanted a softer more summer look. Grace worked her magic and with only a few visits I had beautiful caramel brown locks with golden highlights .... in love! The products that they use are very good, no bleaching was done therefore no dry mess! The assistants are really accommodating and great and washing hair; always very pleasurable. Gigi cuts my hair, she is the only person I trust with scissors. Truly understands what 'just a trim' means or if you tell her to create a new style she does it and very well! She is also great at styling, rather you are looking for the casual flirty day look or that BAM going out look, Gigi can make you feel like a million bucks when you leave. She actually took the time to consult and make suggestions as to how I should get my hair cut and not just ask me what I normally have done. Lauren and GiGi are the best! They always know exactly what I want to do with my hair. Lauren is an amazing colorist. After being completely sick of my amber/gold colored highlights and ombres she hooked it up with a great light blonde color that matches me so much better. GiGi is an amazing stylist, bless her for dealing with my lion mane, she cut out so much bulk and even blow dried it. Most never even attempt this. She INSISTS! She also curled it for me since I can never do it myself. The establishment is beautiful inside and the staff are super friendly. Rachel is amazing!! If you need your color done or your color fixed definitely go to Rachel. Unfortunately, someone destroyed my hair; it was all brassy and gold. I needed my hair fixed, with short notice, because I was leaving for vacation the following day. She stepped up and literally went through my head strand by strand. She took the time, hours, in fact, hours to be certain the end result though was exactly what I had initially went to the salon for. This isn't so much a review for Greenroom Salon as it is for two of its employees who are very talented and who I highly recommend. Here's the review: The cut: The background: Back in San Francisco, where I live, I received a horrendous haircut from a place I should not have gone to. They ruined my hair by chopping it up all unevenly, and leaving a huge mess. I grew it out for a few months and finally when I thought it was partially salvageable, I visited the hair stylist, TJ while visiting my parents in Boca. He was recommended by a friend. TJ was super understanding about the situation, and comforting as well. He examined my hair for a long time, asking some questions, concentrating hard on the mess. He quickly went to work, and within a short while, was down to the styling part. I could not BELIEVE the results. I had gone in thinking he could help a little, and he ended up giving me an awesome haircut, even by non my-hair-was-a-wreck-when-I-came-in standards. I seriously have gotten a bunch of compliments since I've been back home, which makes me feel so happy since I've had to have my hair in a ponytail for the last five months. It's been a few weeks since the cut, and it's growing in so nicely. It's always awesome when a haircut continues to look good, even a month or so after getting it. I recommend TJ's skills to anyone, for all types of hair. I think this guy could handle it. Shit, he's from Compton (for real). The color: This was my first time getting all of my hair colored (I usually get highlights). The colorist that did my hair was named Aaron. She was amazing. She was really sensitive about the fact that this was my first time getting my hair colored, and was not condescending about my trepidation at all (even though she easily could have been since coloring hair is something she does all day). She picked out a color with a lot of care, explaining to me why one color might work over another, etc. She even explained what coloring is actually doing to your hair--like to the cuticles--and how to best take care of colored hair. She was super nice and meticulous about her work. It's been a few weeks and I have had such a positive response from the color. It looks amazing, and was done really well. I first heard about Kristin Simpson's amazing coloring skills from my sister-in-law. Her friend had the top half of her hair blonde and the underneath black. She went to Kristin and left with an all over beautiful shade of blonde with highlights. After seeing her results I started going to Kristin at her old salon for blonde highlights. She did such an awesome job. I even had her do my coloring for my wedding. I stopped getting my hair colored for a bit to save money for our business. I ended up going red using at-home hair dyes for a while. The point finally came where I messed up my color. It looked like I was a redhead growing in blonde. I tracked Kristin down at the Green Room where after four hours she removed the red out of my hair and made my a gorgeous shade of dark blonde with highlights. I always heard stripping color out of hair really damages it but my hair feels as healthy as if I never touched it. To top off an eventful day, Natosha blow-dried and styled my hair and it looked amazing! I highly recommended Kristin and Natosha! I absolutely love my hair and so does everyone I know! read more
