Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. After taking a deposit upfront, King gave me multiple dates for when the work would begin--and each time, he was a no-show. No courtesy calls, no updates, just empty promises. Eventually, he completely disappeared. No responses to texts, calls, or messages--just full-on ghosted me. It's clear now that he had no intention of doing the work after taking the deposit. This is unprofessional, unethical, and borderline fraudulent. I strongly caution anyone considering working with him or his company. Do not trust King Ellis. He took my money and vanished. I have since reported him on Thumbtack and recommend others do the same to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

As a small business owner every penny counts. So when I started looking for a contractor who could…read moredo some work at my studio i knew it had to be done right and in the first time. I've had other contractors that started the work and never I completed and it was hell trying to find new people that could finish it up for me. When I put out the SOS I had two separate friends in business send the same number LOL they said talk to "DP at Custom Living" I gave them a shot and I am so pleased... I'm actually getting a little emotional just thinking about how close we came to closing our business because of all the previous contractors taking advantage and not completing the jobs. I wholeheartedly recommend Custom Living and I feel I would be hard pressed to find another Contractor that was as experienced, speedy, personable, and willing to go the extra yard.
