Crazy house is more like it…read more I have never seen more foot traffic in a place than here. They're doing something right. First of all the presentation of all the food was just spectacular. Service was outstanding. I sat with family and enjoyed a simple tea and toast today. My sister-in-law order the Matcha with blueberry, she let me grab a sip and it was very refreshing, perfectly balanced blueberry, it was sweet but not too sweet paired with the Matcha tea. Not only delicious but very pleasing to the eye it's beautifully displayed in their clear cup. This place feels upscale, trendy. The food options are plentiful. Can't wait to return. It's a place to stop in and check out.

Came here on a grey afternoon looking for some lunch and a coffee pick me up with my girlfriend…read more(she was dying to bring me here). I thought it would be dead, but to my surprise it was still pretty busy! Its a small little place, but still a few options to sit down and eat or just sip your java. Bonus points for excellent music choice, very indie singer/songwriter style that made for a nice relaxing atmosphere. Starting with the reason you're probably going here, the coffee. I got a peanut butter latte, and my girlfriend got one of their winter seasonal choices in the ginger bread latte. both served hot. The PB was very smooth and lightly sweet, but the ginger bread one in my opinion takes home the trophy this time. As for lunch we did their sandwich/wrap and a salad combo, which as far as I am concerned is the best deal I've ever seen, Panera eat your heart out. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with a side caesar salad, and my girlfriend got the fig & brie sandwich, with a side peach and avocado salad. The buffalo wrap was nice and light with grilled chicken and a buffalo sauce that seemed almost more like a vinaigrette and the caesar was about as classic as it gets. The fig and brie was an unexpected plus for me and eats almost like a caprese sandwich, while the peach and avocado salad was super fresh, fruit in salad doesn't quite do it for me personally, so we split the trophy for our lunches. My only "major" downside is that the food is served on wooden paddles, I personally like a plate, but that is more of me just being a nit-picker more than anything else. Parking is pretty ample with spots both in the front and the back of the attached lot, but be careful when you're pulling up the first time, you're bound to miss it, I know I almost did!

Wow, wow, WOW !!!…read more What a fabulous surprise! This was our 1st time and it was fantastic. The food was excellent, the server, Nicholas H, was friendly, efficient and made us feel welcome. My Biscuit Benedict was awesome, the Fried Pickles were great. The BLT and Chicken Sandwich were both very good. I'm not sure how many locations the have, but if they are all as good as West Sayville, I would highly recommend The Shed. Great job, keep it up and thank you !!!

An unforgettable birthday dinner--service and food were top tier!…read more I celebrated my birthday at The Shed and let me just say... this place exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, lively, and inviting. But let's get into the FOOD--because wow. The chicken wings? Fried to absolute perfection. And I'm not even someone who usually eats chicken on the bone, but these were so good I couldn't stop. Crispy, flavorful, and done just right. The shrimp and chips were also perfection--fresh, seasoned beautifully, and cooked exactly how you want them. We tried the fried pickles (so good!) and I had the watermelon cocktail, which was refreshing, unique, and honestly one of the best drinks I've had in a while. Now let's talk dessert... because we went in. We shared the churro waffle topped with both gelato and ice cream and yes--we pigged out and enjoyed every second of it. No regrets. Zero. But what truly made the night unforgettable was our server, Brooke. She was AMAZING. Sweet, attentive, funny, and full of positive energy. She made us laugh, checked on us at all the right times, and genuinely made my birthday feel special. That kind of service is rare, and it didn't go unnoticed--we even called the manager over just to brag on her! Every single person at the table loved their food, loved the experience, and we all agreed: we'll definitely be back. If you go to The Shed, ask for Brooke--and tell her Apryl sent you

Legend has it that I've been here before. I don't believe it. The reason I don't believe it is…read morebecause I had the most spectacular experience. How would I not remember being here. The only downside was that it's winter and we are smack in the middle of back to back literal blizzards and we went at night so we couldn't see any of the view. But believe me, I will definitely be back to make it all right. Every once is a while, for one of my sisters' birthdays we will hold a psychic night. This time, we saw that Snapper Inn was having a psychic night with dinner, so we decided to let them do all the work. I called over a month ahead and spoke with Jim, who was the loveliest man. He gave me all the details and I told him I would call back when I have an official head count. The psychic dinner came with a prix-fixed 3 course meal and a 15 min reading. The menu was amazing. I got the winter salad and the shrimp oreganota while ending up with the banana bread pudding. Everything was top notch, from the private set up with our reading, to the round table they sat the 7 of us at. The service was out of this world and Caroline made sure everything was done perfect. The most important thing is that my sister very much enjoyed everything. And being that this is a family owned business, according to Jim, I was proud to celebrate my family with them. I hope we can do it again.

The restaurant has a very rustic feel, but the large windows and…read morebeautiful water view really make a difference -- the natural light and scenery make the space feel bright. However, The heater seemed very strong, especially if you're seated by the windows -- it felt uncomfortably hot. Entrees are priced around the $30 range, so expectations were a bit higher. Unfortunately, we waited almost an hour for our entrees. There was also a mix-up with our salad order. At first we were told the portion served was the full size, but it clearly wasn't. To their credit, the staff did replace it.

Right off of West Main Street, you'll come across Brownstones coffee. I would recommend getting on their waitlist 30 minutes before going, especially on Sundays. The start of my food journey included their famous strawberry stuffed French toast. Did that make your mouth water? Cause it sure did to me. 2 loafs of French toast, beautifully glazed with their house strawberry syrup, add some fresh strawberries and whipped cream and you have yourself a delicious experience. For my mains I got the Poached egg avocado toast. Mmm mmm mmm I was in heaven. The beautiful cracked egg meets a healthy amount of avocado, my oh my I did not want to leave anything behind so I had to finish all of it! My last choice was the Avocado BLT Benedict without the pork bacon. I substituted with their turkey bacon which was a better pair! 20/20 just try again ! Everything was prepared to perfection and I'll you this, this is why I'll be coming back often. I loved the ambiance, the crowd, the excitement!! Everything was beautiful.

The food is always delicious and everything comes out on time exactly as ordered. Prices are not bad compared to other brunch locations in the area. The parking lot is very small and usually full. Street parking is spotty. The service was just meh. A little rushed and aloof. 5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the service. Crowded on weekends.

After my friend and I finished attending a concert at CM Performing Arts Center on Friday night…read moreabout 7:30pm, we headed over to Oakdale Brew House to grab a drink. The bar was full, but we were able to get seated at a table in front of the live band. There is live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00PM-10:00PM. On Friday, February 20, 2026, a band called The Dudes Acoustic were playing. They sounded great. I had the lavender margarita and it was very yummy. We didn't order any food since we had ate before, but I did glance at the menu and there were plenty of great options. Our server was hospitable and came to check on us throughout the night. Oakdale Brew House is located in Lighthouse Commons, a group of businesses along Montauk Highway, and there are plenty of parking spots.

They're juicy, packed with flavor, and hands-down the best sliders we've ever had. We also tried the Burrata Crostini tonight and--wow--so many delicious layers of flavor. Our ride-or-die dish is the Spicy Rigatoni. It's creamy, a little spicy, and totally comforting with crispy chicken cutlets underneath, plus broccoli rabe, sun-dried tomatoes, and of course, melty burrata on top. Other must-tries? The skirt steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and for the kids, penne alla vodka or chicken fingers that always get gobbled up. Oh--and the margherita pizza? Chef's kiss. Don't skip dessert: the Tiramisu and molten chocolate chip cake are next-level.
