After my friend and I finished attending a concert at CM Performing Arts Center on Friday night about 7:30pm, we headed over to Oakdale Brew House to grab a drink. The bar was full, but we were able to get seated at a table in front of the live band. There is live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00PM-10:00PM. On Friday, February 20, 2026, a band called The Dudes Acoustic were playing. They sounded great. I had the lavender margarita and it was very yummy. We didn't order any food since we had ate before, but I did glance at the menu and there were plenty of great options. Our server was hospitable and came to check on us throughout the night. This place is one of our all-time favorites, and we keep going back for a reason. The beer flights are top-tier (especially if you're an IPA lover), and the Wagyu Sliders? Game over. They're juicy, packed with flavor, and hands-down the best sliders we've ever had. We also tried the Burrata Crostini tonight and--wow--so many delicious layers of flavor. Our ride-or-die dish is the Spicy Rigatoni. It's creamy, a little spicy, and totally comforting with crispy chicken cutlets underneath, plus broccoli rabe, sun-dried tomatoes, and of course, melty burrata on top. Other must-tries? OBH is a fairly reliable spot for a lot of meals. I've done brunch there which is always a fun time, lunch sometimes, and usually dinner if we're looking for somewhere local to get out to. It's a very big open space, so great for groups. While you need to bring the liveliness (there's nothing going on I've ever seen that really provides a lot of energy) you're really going there for the unique menu. They have the types of food you won't find elsewhere. Not everything is that tasty in my opinion, but when you find something you like, it's really good. For example I ordered the schnack wrap which seems to be a newer item on the menu and it was a bit Smokey and bland, and there was no sauce on it (I think by accident) so I asked for some to dip in and the sauce itself was just eh. To be honest I'd have preferred an actual McD's Snack Wrap in this instance. That being said... the chicken quesadilla was terrific, but the talk of the town was the Buffalo chicken egg rolls. That's not something you find everywhere but it blew us out of the water. It's something I could've just had as the whole meal if there were more. Excellent food and service. Waitstaff is very attentive and makes sure that you are served appropriately. The food is very good. There is a special on Monday and Tuesday for a discount of 30% on Large Plate meals. I go on Moare the nights that I visit. Nice place to hang or get some interesting food. They have so many beers on tap which is a bit exciting. Everything we ate was so good from appetizers to dessert. The service is impeccable too. Highly recommend this gem in Oakdale. Everything was good. Delicious food, great service, a nice menu selection and a spacious modern decor. We ordered the Korean Short ribs and salmon with risotto with the chicken quesadilla for starters. I would go back again for sure and order the same thing! Kudos to the chef...the food was spot on and was nicely presented too. Pleasantly surprised here! Attentive service, not overly affable, but still on top of things. Better than the DMV but below Trader Joes. Very quick consistent service from the kitchen. This might seem picayune, but I'd like a better greeting on the way in. The hostess seemed detached, like someone was forcing her to be pleasant. She wanted to give us a lousy table both times and seemed annoyed when I politely asked for a different seating. Meh. We saw a show at the community theater next-door and came here for dinner. I was so pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I had the Bang Bang Shrimp tacos, and they were absolutely delicious - so much so that I can't wait to go back and have them again! I appreciate that I was able to substitute a small Caesar salad instead of the French fries and the salad was quite tasty! My friends had a variety of dishes (see pics) and enjoyed them as well. it was pretty cool as a robotic cart actually delivers your food to the table. The server takes the dishes from the cart and places them in front of each person. One of my friends ordered a medium rare cheeseburger with cheddar cheese instead of Swiss cheese and no bun but unfortunately it was delivered with a bun and Swiss cheese. She ended up eating it anyway, but the waitress was kind enough to remove it from the bill. The overall was very good and the atmosphere is definitely that of a pub. The dining room was very crowded and, as a result, the noise level was pretty loud so if you're looking for a quiet place, I wouldn't come here during they're busy times. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as they have a diverse menu, great food, solid service, and a decent environment. read more

Went on a recent Friday early evening with 2 friends. The place was busy but there were tables available and we were seated quickly. It's a large space with high ceilings and a long bar, the noise level was high but not so bad as you couldn't hear your companions. There were a number of TV's with various games playing. I'm sure if a big game was one it would be much harder to get a table or converse. We started with the jumbo Bavarian pretzel with lived up to it's name. It was HUGE, arrived hot with 3 dipping sauces, honey mustard, gouda cheese and French onion. Very tasty and more than enough for 3 or 4. Two of us got the French Dip which was piled high with tasty, very tender steak, there could have been more sauteed onions but that's my taste, and melted cheese. It was served on a crusty roll with a very flavorful jus, perfect for dipping. There was a basket of hot, seasoned fries. Neither one of us could finish so we both had a second meal. The third member of our party got the "fig" Get About it Burger. She said it was good but too sweet, maybe the fig jam and the candied bacon was a bit much. That was also served with fries. Even though we were all full we ordered a dessert with a brownie, vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and whipped cream. It was ok, the brownie was so dense as to be almost fudge, there was very little caramel. None of us would order it again. They have a fairly extensive menu with options for every taste. There are weekly & daily specials and the food is very good at a reasonable price. I've been to other LFRG properties and will certainly return! read more

Visited for lunch twice. A spacious foodie bar, that's well executed with plenty of seating. Rustic with a modern flare. Haven't tried their dinner entrees but their burgers and sandwiches are over the top good. Add a great variety of on tap beers and IPAs and the place checks all the boxes. We got there when it opened for lunch. They had a lunch special that offered a free app with any sandwich or burger. I chose the sticky dumplings which had a kick but not overly spicy. My friend had the Buffalo chicken egg roll I tasted a bite with its creamy Buffalo chicken wrapped in a crunchy egg roll. We ordered the same lunch..short rib grilled cheese with truffle fries. Oakdale Brew House yea man I likey! Made my way here a few times now and haven't been disappointed yet. Plenty of fun beers to compliment your pub fare. Service every time was accommodating and friendly. I really appreciated that I was able to sample a few beers before making a choice, that was cool. Food was better than expected and presented nicely. Good options to satisfy most, from burgers to tacos, salads, wings, and cool handhelds. Drawback, though can't fault them too much is that their wings are fried in terrible seed oils. Would LOVE if they amped up their game and switched over to beef tallow. Ok, bold words here but, this is my one of my new fav places on Long Island. I had no clue this existed (which I guess was bound to happen when moving back West) so when I found out this place was right near a friend's house, I thought it was a good opportunity to try it. Now this spot is part of the Lily Flannigan Restaurant Group. For me, restaurant groups can be hit or miss. Sometimes each restaurant is stellar, but sometimes restaurants are hurt because there is a lack of attention by the group. We were open to checking this spot out, and we were exponentially pleasantly surprised. First, they have special events some nights. For instance, Wednesday is trivia night. This particular Wednesday was Disney trivia. They were book with reservations and we would have had to wait for about 45 min for a table or we can park at the bar. While waiting for a spot at the bar, it just so happened a table opened up. The host was super nice in notifying me that she would have a table ready if I still wanted it. Of course I did! The place is minimal and rustic. The beers on tap sounded awesome. The winter margarita I had (which had a hint of elderberry) was outrageous. To start we had the French Onion pierogies. We ate these right up! The French onion aioli that was drizzled over the dish was everything!! My friend got the chicken sandwich which she said was amazing, and my fig and prosciutto flatbread was perfect. Props to our server for steering us in the right direction with both food and drinks! Finally the evening ended with my peppermint martini, which contains one of my favorite spirits...Rumchata. Sooo delish and so festive. I just attended a family Communion party. It was in the back room. The service was perfect. No one wanted for anything for long. The servers were professional, courteous, and always watchful of the room. The food was exemplary. Delicious and always a fingertip away. This spot is where you go when you have nothing to cook and can't decide where to go...here's why! Oakdale Brew House is a large, high ceiling bar and restaurant that looks like the inside of a whisky barrel. It has wood accents and dark color scheme with rolling doors and multiple TVs to watch your favorite game. There are lots of high tops and bar seating. The menu has plenty to choose from. You can get tacos, or a steak dinner. You can get wings or grilled salmon. This is exactly why it's the best place to go when you can't figure out dinner. My personal favorite is the Frenched Onion Pierogies. Everything is pretty good. But...nothing is really great. Despite that, I will definitely be back. The service is always nice. Brew house has lots of polite staff that is always helpful and the food comes out exactly how you asked...I love that. Went to the Oakdale Brew House for Lunch today and it was alright. I give it 3.5. Our food was good and our service was so-so. Our waitress was really nice but we were waiting a while until she came over to run our cards for the bill. I ordered a side cesar salad and the Nashville sliders for my meal. The sliders were really good, the chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned great. It is served on two biscuits and only a little bit of sauce was on it, definitely needed more to soak up the dryness of the biscuits. The salad was alright. Not overly dressed but flavorful and tasty nonetheless. My boyfriends shrimp tacos were amazing! Great flavors and cooked amazingly. I came here with my partner, and it was both our first time eating here. The food was AMAZING! The crispy Thai shrimp is a must try if you ever visit- a savory appetizer from the menu. I had the Fire Island burger, and my partner tried the Mushroom Swiss burger. Both burgers were very tasty. Saturday, 5:30 PM we are about to walk in as a man steps back out and tells his waiting group (4 total) it's going to be an hour wait. Yikes. Almost scared us from going in... but as just a table of two we are seated right away. At the worst table though. EVERT table and bar seats have chairs with backs.. except this table we got with the tiniest backless stools I have ever seen. It made for a truly uncomfortable dining experience and I just wanted to get out of there for my poor back. Oakdale Brewhouse I truly beg you to give that ONE poor table real seats like every other table. No reason to have one set of crappy seats. Onto the drinks, hubby and I each order a seasonal cocktail. Not very strong but good flavor profile in mine. And the food. We got wings, $16 felt hefty but they were solid quality wings so no complaints. We each got burgers. I got mine with a gluten free bun and side salad. I am SO grateful I opted for the salad. I tried one of my husbands fries and... they're honestly probably the saltiest fries I ever ate- much moreso than even fast food options. Please tone it down!! I had the Classic Brewhouse Burger and it was perfect!! Great bun, beefy meaty taste, juicy, exact ratio of fixings...not too much, not too little. I'm a little fussy about food ratio. It was also perfectly seasoned. No S&P needed. So I would absolutely come back based on my burger experience. Nice vibe for a Saturday night with some live music. Love the decor. Very clean and they were taking the protocols seriously. Love the QR code for touch-less menu. We ate at the bar and our bartender was great. All around a great dining experience. This is a lovely spot. From what I hear, it's a local gem and should be. I came here with my sister to see her friend perform, which he did well! I didn't take any pictures because we had too much fun and a good conversation. The waitress was lovely and patient as we waited for two more ladies to arrive. I ordered garlic parmesan wings which had great flavor. As the menu said, it is marinated prior. Tore those up! For my drink, I went with my fav, the Cosmo, the bartender, who did well on that. They did have a craft cocktail menu available, also. As far as parking goes, it's in a plaza, so you have the whole lot to find a spot. And it was packed! But you will find parking. There's a performing arts theater next to the brewhouse, contributing to the cars in the parking lot. But who would pass up dinner and a show? Good food, drinks, and a band! Go and enjoy! read more

OBH is a happening even before entering... Outside you can hear the music blaring and when you open the door and enter your enveloped by the atmosphere. When we called we were told no rezzys or wait list and it was FCFS... fortunately we got a high top after a short wait and our perky server approached and took drink orders. When we were settled we saw a large blackboard over the bar with many great brews including Guiness and trappist IPA's...The menu covered all bases and we chose for appys an incredible Nachos plate that was packed with chips, cheese,meat, jalapaneos and was enuf for 4 people...a great choice. Also had chicken wings with a rub which were large but kinda dry and tuff in the middle. The highlight was the Burgers...many choices of good juicy meat! We got the classic burger, one with bleu cheese and the other with American..only negative was the American cheese was placed on top of the beef and not melted! I am so very disappointed in this restaurant. My daughter made reservations for 6 at 7:30 for dinner on New Year's Eve. We decided not to go out late as the roads were not good. When we arrived, the hostess advised us that it was a fixed menu at $70/person. We couldn't believe it. Reservations were made 2 days before that. She claimed that she called everyone with reservations to advise of this sudden change, but that is not true, she didn't call us. We left the restaurant as a $500 bill at the OBH was not a place we would even think of going to spend that money. We wound up going to the Airport Diner across from McArthur Airport and had a really nice time. The food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating. The only thing that came out of this was that we found a really nice diner with people who don't try and scam and never to reserve a table at The Oakdale Brew House. read more

I think they did a great job with the remodel so they can have a back area party room. Clean and nice. Beautiful job really. All of us enjoyed our lunch. We had a burger, a quesadilla which I have to say had a lot of meat and my hubby was surprised at the quality. Dad ate the whole burger and all his fries. I had the caprese chicken sandy with sweet potato fries and that was also tasty. Happy they had the dipping sauce, a lot of places don't! Our server was attentive and pleasant. One thing I thought was weird was that when we got there she said sit anywhere. Went to sit and said you can't sit there because that table is for 6 or more. We were 3. While I understand, why not just seat us than? Felt kinda strange. So we had to take a less desirable low set table while there was literally only 2 other people in the place (we went at 12:30 for lunch). It felt awkward to have to move, it was uncomfortable for a minute. Maybe upgrade those lower set tables if you're gonna tell people to sit anywhere so when they go for the booth/high tables with the nice chairs and then tell them they have to go sit at the kiddie tables they don't feel disappointed. Lost a star there from me for that. Honestly, if you would have sat us, it wouldn't have been such an issue but that sit anywhere and then move thing really dampened my experience just right from the get go. Decent beer menu but nothing over the top. Food menu is basic and will have something for everyone. I would have a party here. It feels more restaurant than bar so I don't know if I'd just pop in casually for a beer and burger or watch the game. That's not meant to be a negative, it's just what I felt about the atmosphere. Good evening yelpers, today we came across the Oakdale Brewhouse and boy were we lucky we did. What a beautiful gastropub. The room is decorated with wine barrel tables, stools, regular tables and a huge bar. We were greeted by Nicole or waitress. She was very pleasant and patient with us as we navigated the menu and beer selections. They have a very nice selection of craft beers and mixed drinks as well. Today, we started with the lobster mac n cheese which delicious. It came with spiral pasta and a nice taste of lobster claw meat. For lunch we ordered 2 burrata burgers and a brunch burger. The burrata burgers were delicious with a nice amount of burrata mashed onto the burger. My brunch burger, which I ordered by accident, was really delicious and a nice surprise. It came with delicious thick bacon, a fried egg...yum and a hash brown well stacked on this monster burger!!! All the burgers came with a choice of fries served in their own little fryer basket.... nice touch. The owner came up to us asking how everything was and for suggestions, which was nice. Absolutely love this new addition to the neighborhood. We may have stalked it out for a few weeks before opening day and got more and more excited when we saw what progress was being made. The pretzel was delicious and I really enjoyed the three dipping sauces, each highlighting a different flavor profile. The burrata burger may be the best burger I have eaten ever. The short rib pizza was very tasty just a bit thick for my liking. The drink selections were local and at good price points. The owner stopped by and chatted with as many tables as she could which really made for a nice community close-knit vibe. She was delightful.
