Reasonable prices and nice small town diner feel. Appearance of the outside would lead you to believe a simple barista however they have a good expansive menu for breakfast and lunch. We had the grind special, your basic eggs and hash with breakfast meat. Everything was cooked perfect, they also have a great seasoning on the hash browns, nothing is frozen. All in all a good little gem in downtown

Veggie omelette was great with fresh salsa. Good coffee, bacon was fantastic and fresh cherry jelly? Yes please!

Ordered our food. Server never came back to our table. Waited 45 minutes for our food, never got it. Walked out. Completely ridiculous.

The outside looks like something from a 70s sitcom set…read more. The inside is dated, but I love the vibe! It was packed on a Saturday at 10:30 in the morning. But they move fast! We were sat in under two minutes, and had our food in less than 10. This place runs like a well-oiled machine. Some of the waitresses here had to be at least 60 to 70 years old, and it looked like they came with the building. I'm not saying that as a bad thing. Is it really a good diner if at least one of the waitress's hands don't shake a little as she sits down your plate? The portions are enormous... The pancakes are the size of a plate. We watched the food come out and everything looks really good. Our waitress was fast and friendly, can't ask for anything better. It was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time.p

I HIGHLY recommend stopping in. It has a nice old school diner / down home feel. Definitely a place the locals frequent. Everyone was very polite & kind. The food was AWESOME! "Herbie's Mess" really hit the spot with me... paired with some Rye toast that made my belly VERY happy! My GF got the tater tot skillet which she very much enjoyed. The service was quick and the prices surely won't break the bank. Support small & local businesses! A+ We look forward to coming back as it's only about an hour and a half from home.

I love the no-frills vibe of the venue, staff and customers. My first impression? Dark! I arrived at noon:30 because a passing acquaintance mentioned Lombardo's having the best BPTS. The staff and regulars numbered five and were bantering about nothing at high decibel. I sat at the bar and grabbed a menu. It is a perfectly useful, simple, no-frills list of food and prices. The bartender/waitress was a tad slow to engage this newcomer, but finally got around to taking my order and delivering a glass of water. My second impression? Still dark. The BPTS arrived after the usual wait and was hot from the fryer. It comes with nothing, but the usual garnishes are available for an up-charge that seems a tad rich. $1 for a slice of winter tomato? Pass. $1 for a slice of cheese? Pass. $1 for a slice of onion? Pass. The bun was fresh and the pickle spear was beginning to trend from crisp and crunchy towards a hint of limp. I enjoyed the porky goodness and flashbacks to my childhood BPTS memories. Will I return? Probably. I hope that the kitchen will do breakfast-for-lunch. I am also curious about their hamburger ... $3.50, but the double hamburger is more than 2x the regular burger. What's with that?
