Ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit for pick up... drove all the way there to pick up and find out at home I was given a ham biscuit with a cold slice of cheese on top. I have been running into issues with this place for months now and I think this was the final straw. There was no proper customer service shown when I called to tell them of the mistake. I had to follow with asking if I could come get a new biscuit or refund. You would think you would want your business to return?? Overall just extremely disappointed with my recent visits at the finest grind. If it's not burnt coffee, it's a wrong biscuit, or a biscuit with no sausage on it and just egg & cheese. My most favorite coffee shop. I was introduced to the shop in 2020 attending a group study. It feels like a homey place and very unique in itself. The staff are so friendly and helpful in every way. The assorted sandwiches, salads, breakfast, and hot/cold drinks are delicious There is also an ice cream bar! Every time you come and place an order your points accrue for your future orders. All terrific with appropriate pricing. Wifi available for those self-study and work if needed. The atmosphere is very comfortable and warm. Plus there is a drive thru. Usually I am very pleased with this restaurant. This was a DoorDash delivery. Today though I am disappointed. I ordered avocado toast because the picture looks so delicious. It was a piece of bread with a few thin slivers of avocado on it. The picture indicates it's spread out with some seasonings. My friend has ordered it before and it looked like the picture. Not appetizing at all. My bacon was sitting in a pool of grease in the styrofoam container. This was definitely not the same kitchen staff as before. We needed to get coffee before my daughter's softball game. I got a large grandpas cinnamon coffee and it hit the spot. My wife got an iced mushroom coffee they had as a special. She said it was very good. We also got pigs in a blanket and a breakfast crescent. The food was good and hot. The people were nice said hello and thank you. Not very talkative or particularly warm. I always forget this place is here. While it's not hard to get to, it's just not obvious in the shopping center. I've never been inside, only ever having been through the drive through. Be careful with the drive through as the curb has the illusion of being shorter than it is. It will get your hub caps every time. The menu is in three parts and I always forget what my wife wants by the time I get to the window. But the employees are always friendly and the coffee is good. Didn't know this place existed! Checked out of our hotel just before 11 am, and we went out in search a Waffle House for a quick tasty breakfast, It is Sunday and Memorial Day weekend so that was a non starter. Every Waffle House we stopped at was crowded. After stopping at a Waffle House down the street we did a quick Google and after several U-turns lol we located this little gem of a coffee house. What a find! One patron was seated in the outside seating area, with a few inside. No crowd--score! We placed our orders for waffles, sausage, and an extra sausage biscuit for my daughter. Bobby's Place--in the back against rear of the coffee house had a number of very comfortable arm chairs and loveseats that made it really feel like home. I sat in an armchair until our orders arrived. Our breakfast arrived in about ten minutes and was delicious! The staff was polite and helpful. My one regret was not taking a minute to ask about the origin of the "Bobby's Place" ares. Would recommend Finest Grind to anyone visiting the area. read more

They have build your own breakfast sandwiches that they will make to order with your choice of breads, meats and choice of how you want your eggs cooked. The desserts they have are always delicious. The customer service is good and the latte choices are plentiful. There is free wifi and two computers here that you can use although the one time I tried to use them the one I was on was very slow. Good coffee. For those who want a cup of brewed coffee, you get "americano", which is essentially espresso with a portion of hot water to bring the brew down from La Brea tar thickness. That means you're getting fresh coffee with each pour, not just a pot sitting out for who knows how long. The pastries are home made and interesting, if a little dense. The banana bread gives off banana fumes as it comes up on the fork, a good sign that gets validated when the moist morsel makes it inside your mouth. (I probably should reword that, huh). They make an everything variant of the oatmeal cookie, with chocolate chips, peanut butter morsels along for the ride. Oatmeal cookie purists should avoid this, but if you like such things (like "everything" bagels), it's just fine. The peanut butter cookie is outstanding. Good place to stop in if you have business at the AT&T call center and training site next door, but if you are on AT&T business, be sure to park on the AT&T side of the lot. read more

This review is for their double espresso. I am a espresso/coffee afficionado. When visiting Biloxi fir a work stint believe me when I say it's not easy to find a GREAT shop. Sure there is Starbucks, but then again there is McDonald's as well which does not sell bad coffee, it's good...but not great. This was the first shop among others that I tried, that really has a handle on how an espresso should be. It is great! It is out of the way of most other things in the area but well worth the detour.
